They recommended that it be kept in the freezer until it needs to be cooked and then boil it for five minutes! This shop also sells various cuts of beef, chicken, and pork which all look pretty good. They also sell these weird chicken rings and many different flavors of chicken fingers and strips. All were breaded. Honestly, I'm kinda scared of the chicken rings.

I appreciated that my to-go order had the meat and sauce separate from the bun so I could assemble at home and not have a bunch of pork and bread mush instead of a sandwich. The pork was delicious - it didn't NEED sauce but the sauce was so good I had to throw some on there. The collards were delicious (they can go so wrong so easily). But the mac & cheese was the star. I immediately started telling people "you need this mac & cheese in your life, you're welcome." Their little spot underneath Children's Hospital is modest but cute and clean.
