Ripped up chairs
Niloufar G.

So the restaurant itself is very cute, but it's very rundown. My chair was ripped up. It just didn't seem very clean to me inside. The waitress took a long time to get to us and didn't even take a drink orders. I had to give her our drink order. And then I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich on a gluten-free bun. The first bite was great. I didn't eat the chicken yet, but the bacon is really good and then as soon as I bit into the chicken, it was super raw inside! . I was just so disgusted. Just lost my appetite and felt sick. My son ordered the kids chicken tenders and I had to try a chicken to make sure it was cooked and it was. But when I told the waitress about my meal, , she didn't seem to care too much and you know, the chef should've come out to apologize or explain. But they didn't just seem to care at all. They did take it off the bill, but honestly, they should've apologize. I feel very sick to my stomach. I hope that I don't get sick tonight and now I have to go somewhere else and get dinner for myself. I'm very very disappointed and I would never come back here ever again. do not come and eat here

Located inside the Legoland Hotel, directly across from the buffet restaurant Bricks, Skyline Cafe is the only sit down restaurant open all day in the hotel. They serve alcohol here so that could be worth a visit if that's what you're looking for, but the food itself is a pass. The food is more expensive than in the park, takes at least 30-mins after ordering, and tastes like theme park food anyways. You're better off eating inside Legoland as it seems to be about the same food but it'll be cheaper inside and faster.

Thank you!!! :)

Our dinner was tasty! What made it even better....... Our waiter! His attitude, attention, and patience was beyond my expectations. I kept bugging him about his Lego mini figure above his name tag. I told him I was told I could trade mini figures he laughed and with a smile he replied not this one sorry. To my surprise when the check came in.... SURPRISE! He placed the Lego inside the checkbook and he sure made us smile. Thank you again it really made my night! I hope you know I appreciate that gesture! You rock! Now for the manager you got a good employee there.

Located inside the LEGOLAND California Hotel, we dined here because we were staying at the hotel and hungry! We didn't have a reservation. When we came to the host podium, the hostess said it would be a 20 minute wait and that was no problem for us. We went to the arcade inside the hotel to play a bit and then, came back. Our server was so nice and efficient. I was very impressed with the customer service. I ordered the Buffalo wings and really liked it! It's nice not having to leave LEGOLAND California Resort to have a decent meal.

The food and service were amazing. My daughter was able to get a salad with her kids meal. The girls were able to look at the Legos throughout the restaurant. I would 100% be back.

Overcooked/overfried Turkey Club -2020

Skyline cafe is a great option if you are looking to steer clear of all the little hands getting into your food at the buffet. Located across from Bricks Family Buffet, they serve sandwiches, wraps, burgers, and things of that nature and have a full bar for drinks. The highlight of Skyline cafe is the impressive skine made of legos. If you look closely you will see lots of silly and quirky things. What is so neat is that some of the windows in the buildings light up and you can see something going on in the windows. One of my go-to's here since our first visit 3 years ago is the House Turkey Club with a side of sweet potato fries. In the past the sweet potatoes were yummy and crunchy and fried just right but over time the quality has gone down. I find that fries are now overfried. Service here was very slow even on an off-peak, weeknight. There was hardly anyone here and yet the drink I ordered took almost 20 minites to arrive. When I looked at the bar they were just hanging out. The servers are nice here but service was very slow. In my photos you can see how awesome the food looked back then vs how overcooked and overfried it looks now. I have read some reviews where others think this place was overpriced but in my opinion the portion is pretty generous and can be shared with a small child.

Chicken wings

I wasn't expecting much but I was wrong. The food was good! I had Sesame Chicken Salad ($14) and Lemon Roasted Mushroom Flatbread($13). The salad was delicious! And it was big portion. I was so happy. My flatbread was also delicious. It had white truffle oil and I kept eating and eating. LOL My husband had Skyline Dry Rubbed Wings ($13) and Pepperoni Flatbread ($13). There were about 8 wings and lots of carrots and celery sticks. Very filling and goes good with beer. My husband was happy that there were lots of celerys because most place only comes with 3 or 4. We were hungry and didn't know how the portion so we ordered little too much. If we have shared a flatbread, that would have been a good amount. One side of the restaurant had Lego buildings and minifigures. That was great. I wish there were more on the other side too. There weren't anything interesting were we sat down but the food was great so we were good

Gigantic Caesar salad with lotsa cheese. Chicken wing for scale?

It mixes industrial and classic touches with cozy leather booths, stylish décor, and an open, lively energy that still feels relaxed. It's polished enough for a special occasion but comfortable enough to linger over one more coffee, think business casual vibes. If the weather's nice, the patio is a great option too. The real MVP was our server, Katelynn. She handled all 8 of us by herself the entire time and never missed a beat. Our drinks were always fresh, and she stayed a step ahead of the table. Great solo performance. I split two entrées with my bro, which I highly recommend if you can't decide: California Burrito: Very savory, with creative sauces that set it apart from the usual breakfast burrito. Eggs Benedict: Well put together with quality ingredients. It's a classic done right. Potatoes: Fresh and delicious. I don't normally care for breakfast potatoes, and these still won me over. We left full, happy, and already planning a return trip. Bonus: The Forum Carlsbad shops are right nearby if you want to walk it off afterward, which we did. Cheers!

The restaurant itself is spacious and clean, and the service was good. Our server was very attentive throughout our meal. The wait for the food, however, was atrocious. It took about 45 minutes from the time we ordered to actually receive our food. At that point, making a reservation almost felt useless since we still ended up spending so much time waiting once we were seated. Thankfully, the food was very good and didn't disappoint. We got the bolognese and enchiladas, and both dishes were amazing and really hit the spot. I also got a lychee martini, but unfortunately I couldn't taste any lychee at all. On the bright side, it was probably the fastest thing to come out after we ordered. I would definitely come back, but probably when it's less busy. I just didn't expect to spend more time waiting for our food to come out than actually eating it.

I usually gauge a restaurant by their avocado toast so 20|Twenty was solid. My friends had Egg Benedict and Mushroom omelet. For dinner we had a big group and went tapas - crudo, bread experience, roasted chicken, fish, beef - we had a lot of fun sampling and left really full. Around 6:45 we asked for an update and they said oh sorry we had an issue plating one dish... No one came to let us know or apologize, or ask if we'd like the food that is ready in the meantime. The lack of communication was a huge miss for us. Food finally arrives and our party is past hungry at this point. The meals that had been ready were very clearly waiting under heat lamps.. Dessert was offered as a consolation - no one really wanted it, but since that's the only resolution, fine. That then also took another 20 minutes. We may try again if in the area, but hope for better.

We put ourselves on their online waitlist but was sat immediately when we arrived. I really liked the vibes around this place. It feels like you're really at home. I browsed through the menu and decided to try the spinach and mushroom hash and added a side of bacon. I also order the iced caramel apple matcha. The drink came out first and was absolutely delicious! The caramel apple paired well with the matcha flavor. Our food took about 10 minutes even though for the restaurant being really crowded! I took a bite of the bacon and it was super crispy and warm. It was delicious! The bacon here is definitely a must try! I then had the homemade jam with my English muffin and that was delicious as well! Now for the hash... that was absolutely delicious! Paired with the crispy bacon, it was warm on a small skillet bowl and would definitely get it again if I come by around the area! Overall my meal was around $35 which included the hash, side of bacon and the drink which was a fair price for what came out. I would definitely come by again if I was in the area to get my breakfast fix. Definitely check this place out if you're in the area!

I had to ask two or three times for my water to be refilled, and the last time it never even got refilled. Overall, the service was mediocre and the food was really disappointing. I don't see myself coming back.
