Came to this food hall around 4:00pm today and ended up trying 5 different places. We were hungry and always like variety. 1) immersion for tasty dessert 2) el puerto for agua fresca 3) classic pho at district 4) drunken noodles at Thai style 5) sushi & musubi at rolled up Clean restrooms. Plenty of parking.

What a cool place! I am highly satisfied by this food hall! There's a bunch of a different and amazing restaurants to choose from! There's have a full on bar there too! Super cool! The sitting areas are pretty cool and I enjoyed my visit so much!

Windmill Food Hall is a fun little spot with a mix of vendors and a cool vibe -- bright up front and darker, moodier in the back. Service was fast too! My sis n law and I shared a few things and I'm still dreaming about the drinks from Secret Sauce and Wok Grill, and the Works sushi burrito from Rolled Up. We also tried the sampler from Asada Gaucho...not really for me -- the flavor was lacking, the meat was cold, and the fries needed salt (maybe even some Parmesan).

Out all my years of living in San Diego, I've driven by this place numerous of times and never been curious enough to stop by. I was with family and we decided to check out this place. Came on a weekend and so the place was PACKED! Really enjoyed the different restaurants they had to offer and would highly recommend this spot for families of all sizes!

A great spot for folks wanting a variety of tastes- I have yet to find my favorite food here after a few visits but everything I have tried so far has been tasty. They have a lot of fun drinks (nonalcoholic), a bar, lots of parking and a small outdoor space. There is always someone cleaning up and organizing the dining room which is much appreciated. The arcade games were unfortunately all empty, not working or in need of some love when we came this time which was disappointing for my 2.5 year old bc this was the first time she was able to play them. There were only 4 other games that just didn't fit her age, we love the enclosed space for her to roam around a bit so hopefully next time the arcade is stocked up! I also believe some spots are no cash just FYI!

Nah not the spot. Ive tried multiple items from different places, very hit and miss, more miss than anything. This was the cosmos fries in the picture. Unfortunate cause this place has so much potential. Bigger kitchen off coast hwy is a lot better. Idk if its bc theyre mini kitchens but even then. Very unfortunate!

This food hall has many different food options which was great for our family of 4 since we all have different tastes. The kids got pizza while my husband and I got Thai food and Argentinian food. There was live music and country line dancing when we walked in. There were many different food stands and all of the restaurants looked really good. The food hall is clean and has video games and lots of different themed areas for seating. It's a great place to stop for food!

    Chow fun.

From the outside it looks like a nice, large place to get food. Walk inside and it's completely opposite. Dark and dingy. Every noise echoes in because it's so tight in here and the materials used to build it. Only gets 2 stars because the noodles at the Chinese spot inside were good, but that also took forever to get. Wasted too much time here. This place had potential, but whoever designed this dungeon messed up big time!

I've been here many times since it's opening and I find this spot hit or miss. I recently attended the taste of the windmill event which for me was a miss. Most of the vendors were offering small bites of their usual fare, but the prices were pretty high. There were a few deals to be had though. It's tourist season so it was packed with crying children running around, dogs and strollers. It's loud normally but even more so with a band and said children. It was difficult to move through the areas with tables. When it's not tourist season it's pleasant. You can go with a group and it's easy because each person can select their preferred cuisine. We usually grab our food and a cocktail and meet back at a table either inside or out, depending on the weather. On nice days when it's opened up, you can hear the band from outside and the tables outside are a little bit quieter, which is nice when you want to have a conversation. There has been a lot of turnover of the vendors over the years, but I can always find something i want to try. It's a nice concept but pretty pricy for the portions and unless you know what to get most of the food is just ok.

This food court is a great choice if you're looking for variety. There's a wide range of food options to suit all tastes, and both indoor and outdoor seating is plentiful. It's also very family-friendly, making it a great stop for groups of all ages. We tried the mini donuts, a latte, and a grilled crab sandwich -- all were delicious! With so many choices, it's hard to go wrong here.

The taste of the Windmill at the Windmill Food Hall! This was a fun little event where you could try little bites from each food spot. There is really something for everyone, from tacos to sushi to pizza, and everything I tried was fresh and flavorful. The atmosphere is lively yet relaxed, making it a great place to hang out with friends or family. With plenty of seating and a solid bar selection, it's definitely worth checking out if you're looking for variety all in one place!

The food was yummy, large variety of food available. The service was excellent, food was made efficiently. The ambiance is chill outdoors. They have a full bar, I recommend the jamica me crazy with tajin on the rim. The bartender was great, I'd definitely recommend this location, family friendly as well. They have fun arcade games and delicious Thai food! I got the chicken eggplant with white rice. So good!

If you have a group of people, or any finicky eaters, this should work for you. They have more than 10 food vendors and a full bar. In the past, I have had the Mexican food and the Pho, and both were very good. This time my wife and I tried the Asian food at Secret Sauce. My wife had the shrimp on a stick, and I had the Mongolian Beef. Both were solid meals. Not the best we have had, but still very good. We finished with desert at the Mini Donut Company. The donuts were reasonably priced and tasted pretty good. Overall, not the best meal we had ever had, but still satisfying and worth checking out for yourself.

First impression even before ordering a veg breakfast scramble at the front counter: the peeps who are employed here love (not like) working here. Miles of smiles and genuine engagement with customers is not something you can teach so it says everything about the owners that they love their staff and hire those that match their vibe. The strawberry croissant had some vanilla cream along with strawberry slices in the center cut of the croissant. The cream was nice, light, and not overly sweet, which tasted great with the strawberry. The croissant was a little disappointing, as it wasn't flaky, very dense, and on the softer side. It still had a good buttery flavor but overall it was mid. As we continued eating, I ended up chewing on something plasticky, and I believe it might have been the front cut of a plastic piping bag. It's tough to get a table for a weekend noon. I booked our reservation a few weeks ahead of time. Parking is either near the train tracks across the street or on the curb. We got the egg dish and salad bowl. The yogurt for the eggs was deliciously spiced; dipping in the toasted bread into the gooey poached egg, creamy yogurt, and herbs was delicious! My issue with this dish were the herbs that were too large. Was I expected to stick a big piece of herb on my toast? The dish is saucy with the chili oil so my clothes were dirty with the oil covered herbs. Chop the herbs smaller for practicality! Another dish suffered from the execution. We got the bowl which I thought was going to be a grain bowl. Rather, it was a ridiculously-sized salad--as much leaves as a pack from the grocery store! There were toppings within like slices of avocado, pieces of orange, farro, and nuts. I felt like I was trying to treasure hunt to look for these pieces. The salad was comically oversized. It was dressed fine but suffered from the portion size. You could see this theme with the French toast too where you get 1/3 of a baked bread. I'm honestly confused by this chef who has amazing experience. Why do you construct dishes that are difficult and impractical to eat? Less is more. These dishes need extensive edits. How this place got Bib Gourmand is honestly surprising to me.
