Bingo! If you're in LegoLand, this is the place to eat! The Pork Belly Bao was fantastic! It had great flavor and loaded with nice, fresh veggies. Actually, I thought there was only one, but when I saw two on the order as it arrived, I was pleased. A perfect meal to share with someone and the egg rolls and dipping sauce were fantastic. It was, in no other words, just delightful to have a fresh, tasty meal at an amusement park instead of the normal fast food options. DOWNSIDE... There's not a lot of seating options; just a few tables with umbrellas. So, as a LegoLand regular who was in front of me said, there is a pizza place a few yards away that has more seating. We didn't check it out, but I think it may be a good option, especially since it came from a "regular." Great job, Ninja Kitchen!

Can't say I was expecting much, but it was something on the healthier side (maybe). Waited in line and was notified that any rice plate items will take a considerable amount of time since they ran out of rice and are making a new batch. Definitely needs to step up on food management I think to avoid long lines and disgruntled customers. That aside, the bao buns come in pairs and the most disappointing part is that the crispy pork belly option is the same price for the tofu option. I honestly thought there would be a different by maybe fifty cents, but they were the same. To see if there was a difference, we ordered one of each and we thought the bao buns are average. Has some flavors to it, but I doused mine with their garlic chili sauce to intensify the flavors. The pickled items in the bao buns are barely pickled and just had a nice crunch to them. The tofu are fried tofu, but doesn't have a crunch to them at all since they were doused with a sweet-ish sauce. In each tofu bao bun, there were either 4 or 5 pieces of square tofu that spans the bao bun and for the crispy pork belly, there were 1/2 slices (not terrible thick, but more on the thin side) that spans the bao bun. Hard to say it's worth the price, but it was something to snack and eat that is on the less pricier side. All in all, something to have if you don't want American. Not the best there is, but definitely not the worse I've had. Their garlic chili sauce was quite nice and I would recommend giving that a try if you like spicy food.

We were craving Asian food and thought we'd get our cravings satisfied here - no such luck. The bao buns were tasteless and dry. The lemongrass chicken rice plate was the same. There was also a kick to it so my sons did not want any part of it. You'll probably have better luck at the burger or pizza places.

Looks like this place is being changed to a chicken wing place. I never had a chance to get the Banh Mi. I have gone off peak maybe 11 times and this place was opened maybe once.

New cart inside Ninjagoland. The wait was long and it was pricey (but that was expected). -Pork belly Banh mi was ok. Not amazing. -The kids chicken and rice was served in small ice cream like cups. Zero flavor on those. -What I was shocked by was the egg rolls. They were pretty good. I ended up just eating that. Oh and ps... They don't have soy sauce. What the heck man! Dry white rice! 3 stars *** for egg rolls alone.

Not bad for an amusement park. We had the pork bahn mi, pork bao, kids chicken rice bowl and chicken egg rolls. I won't talk about pricing since this is an amusement park, but it wasn't outrageous. Each order was a good amount of food. The chicken egg rolls came as a side those were pretty big. Saved those as a snack for later. Kids rice bowl was perfectly sized for a toddler. No veggies, just rice and well marinated chicken. Lots of flavor. The Bread for the bahn mi was crunchy but I thought the sauce was too sweet. No chili in the sandwich but they have Sriracha sauce. The bao bread was nice and fluffy. I liked that the food was all easy to eat. Great for eating in the Ninjago lines. Lol.

I bought the pork belly rice bowl and the kid's chicken rice bowl. The adult size rice bowl cake with pickled vegetables, cilantro, beverage, and an egg roll on the side. Kid's meal included an egg roll, fruit (raisins), and a beverage (juice, milk, or water). The value was good for the amount of food considering that it's inside of an amusement park. I paid just under $23 for both meals and both my daughter and I were happily full for the rest of the day. The portions are generous enough to be filling, but not so much that you are walking around with leftovers. I thought that the pork belly's flavor was awesome, but the chicken was kind of bland and dry for my taste. It was definitely chicken breast.

My husband and I decided this might be the best "fast food" amusement park food we've eaten. Walk up stand in Ninjago area. They offer bao bun or bahn mi sandwiches. You can get 2 bao buns with either pork belly, lemongrass chicken or tofu for under $8. Or they have a combo that includes drink and an egg roll. Also a kids combo option. Service is pretty quick. But it is worth any wait times. The buns were ample for my husband and I to share and get a side of 2 fried spring rolls. The 4 year old ate the spring rolls and seemed to like them. Perfect food for him as he jumped around the ninjago characters nearby. The bao buns were delicious. There is sriracha if you'd like, but it has a little kick to it anyway. Fed some of the pork belly to the baby and he was super happy. Seating is tough, but the food is easy to eat on the run. Highly suggest!

Vegetarian Bao Bun with Tofu and also vegetarian spring roll and honest company watermelon juice.

Crispy pork belly bao bun is good, though only two small baos. Banh mi sandwich is more filling.

Here you will find a number of eateries and full sized bar conjuring up craft cocktails and local beers. Food offerings: Thai food, Mexican food, sushi, burgers, pizza, donuts, pho, & lobster rolls. The variety of foods brings in big crowds which leads to limited seating depending on when you visit. Seating is available indoors and outdoor patio seating is provided. Come patient and don't be shy about communal seating. You never know who you'll come across and chat it up with. The food we tried wasn't the greatest but 4 stars overall because convenience reigns supreme. This food hall is great for groups since everyone isn't forced to commit to one specific type of food.

Overall the dish sauce and seasoning was amazing but i would maybe get something different another time.

I also have to mention their croissants, which are excellent. I love all of their locations. The Carlsbad spot has a slightly more extensive menu -- especially with the pizzas -- but the Encinitas location is just as good and always worth the stop. My personal favorites are the ham and gruyère baguette and the Pizza Florentine, and their cookies are dangerously good. And if you're a coffee person, you'll be happy here -- their espressos, lattes, and cappuccinos are consistently great. It's simply a gem of a local spot for really good bread, coffee, and casual bites.

Great variety, stores well in the freezer. The viennoiseries are a combination of classic and unique, and amazing: you have to try their fig bar! Do not try their almond and chocolate croissant though, please. Otherwise they will ran out and I won't be able to get mine. I compared their regular butter croissant with other "French" ones, and this one wins by a huge margin: airy, fluffy, just enough sweetness. They recently expanded in their main location, now you can get a sandwich, coffee and pizza. They also collaborate with other local vendors and you can find some unique items in their fridge. The vibe is so cool too. Friendly, chill, California style. Highly recommend this place, or their other locations.

I was soooo excited about the Philly connection, as I'm very familiar with cheesesteaks having lived near Philly in a past life. Well, I was sorely disappointed. We were told that the bread is flown in daily from Philly. Well, I don't know where it's coming from because it's definitely not the same bread as what they normally use there. The sandwich and meat were dry and flavorless. Totally underwhelming unfortunately. So then we saw that they made key lime pie there too! Again, I was SUPER excited because key lime pie is my favorite dessert of all time. And again...disappointment. I took one glance and saw that it was light green in color and knew I was gonna be mad. Yall, Key lime pie is yellow. You should NEVER add food coloring. That's just gross and inaccurate. The texture and flavor were also off. Texturally it was way too thick and dense, which would have been fine if it actually tasted like key lime. But it was severely lacking in that tart key lime flavor that it's known for. I'd definitely go back because of the service and vibe. But I'll maybe try a burger and the cheesecake instead.
