If you want the best views of all of Philadelphia this is the spot to go to. Skyhigh is located on the 60th floor of the Four Seasons hotel in downtown Philadelphia. I made a reservation online on OpenTable. We arrived earlier than our reservation slot so we were able to walk around and take pics. Unfortunately on the night we went it was super cloudy and had been raining so the views weren't nearly as good as they could have been. There's a grand staircase that walks down into an even bigger and more open area. Up first, was a $9 hot chocolate and a $23 Bluecoat (Dirty Martini with blue cheese olives). The martini was perfect, exactly how I like it with tiny slivers of ice shards. Second, I had a $30 Gold Espresso Martini with vodka. It was also perfect. Probably the prettiest espresso martini I've ever been served. The leaf design in your drink is pretty sweet. Tons of dates here, anniversaries, vacationers, and people super dressed up. Most certainly look your best if you decide to come. Next time I'm in Philly, I'll certainly be back! read more

Michael really took care of us.. So welcoming and charming and so professional. Besides the venue just being so beautiful, the architecture and the interior design and the great views of Philly from high above!! As many people have stated you come here for the view not the food. We made reservations and I think maybe one could specify to have a table with a view because all of the inner tables do not allow you to see much other than what is reflected off of the ceiling. Maybe it was an off night but found the service to be a bit slow. It took us about an hour to get one drink each. We were going to order food as well but by the time they asked we had been there for so long, we were weary of how much time it would take and declined to order anything else. The food and drink menu was a bit limited and not particularly interesting. My drink was ok and so was my friends. They tasted fine. I want to point out in their waiting area they have a view but put dots on the glass (I suspect so you have to pay to get an unobstructed one). Randomly found this place through a Chase and Opentable collab and my husband wanted to check out the view for his birthday. We waited in the main lobby for about 30 minutes because we didn't have a reservation and the bar was full. When we made our way up, we were greeted by a beautiful view. It took maybe another 10 minutes before a seat opened up but we were able to order a drink while waiting. I ordered the Lychee Raspberry Bellini and it was delightful. My girlfriend wanted to come here to watch the sunset for her birthday, and it turned out to be a great choice. Since it was the weekend, we had to wait in the lobby downstairs for about 15-20 minutes. Luckily, we made it up just in time to catch the sunset and take some amazing photos. We were also fortunate enough to find seats at the bar, but if you want guaranteed seating, it's definitely better to make a reservation in the main seating area. There was a live band playing that day which made it a little extra special. Credit card deposit to make the reservation for a prix fixe brunch. Service is kind of slow. The food was delicious. Avocado toast, the warm Brie with pita, the lobster risotto were all highly recommendable. Desert is included and when you go down the stairs to the lower level, the bar is setup with a massive spread of dessert bites. Delicious. Date night came correct. I loved this place! Sooo pretty, coolest elevator ride soooo high up that speaks to its name, and the Christmas decorations were stunning inside! We got such lovely photos. We visited Sky High at night, and the experience was incredible from start to finish. The service stood out immediately--warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming without ever feeling rushed. Our server checked in often enough to make sure we had everything we needed, but still let us enjoy the atmosphere. And *what* an atmosphere. Skyhigh is certainly a spot for the views, vibes, and ambience. It wasn't really on my radar, but I got drinks and dinner with a friend who suggested it, so of course, I was down. Even the elevator ride up was an experience, fun to see the city get smaller and smaller as you ascend. We had made reservations so were easily seated, but it was a weekday and early in the evening, so I don't anticipate we would have waited long. The restaurant is surrounded by glass, allowing you to get cool views of the city. With that comes a ton of natural light, which they matched with greenery and plants. The seats were bougie and felt lounge-like, all adding to the experience. Definitely a trendy spot and presumably popular with the social media folk. Service was solid, with our server checking in on us appropriately but not overwhelmingly so. I started off the evening with a glass of wine, pleased at their robust selection. My friend opted for a cocktail, which he enjoyed! We split all our food, ordering the seasonal salad with peas, avocado, and cheese, burrata with figs, a seasonal pizza, and roasted cauliflower with couscous. My standout dish was the burrata, nicely paired with the fall figs and some honey. The accompanying sourdough was a great vehicle for it. I was underwhelmed by the pizza, especially since Philadelphia does pizza so well at other spots. Nothing wrong with it, just not the best slice I've had in the city. The cauliflower was surprisingly filling, very meaty and with nice warming spices. The couscous it sat atop was very fluffy and a nice pairing too. The salad had nice fresh flavors and was a nice light touch to the rest of the meal. I particularly liked the shaved cheese on top of it! None of the dishes were that inventive or unique, and the menu was a little all over the place (no standout theme cuisine), which is fine. The meal was solid, but again, not really the place to go for the best meal of your life (in my opinion). Prices are on the higher end for the city, but of course, you're paying for the experience. I'm glad I got to experience Skyhigh, and it made for a nice spot to catch up with a friend while enjoying a meal and drinks. I probably won't visit Skyhigh on a date night, but I'd be open to going again for apps and drinks with a group of friends or visitors who want a fun Philadelphia viewing experience! read more

Came here for dinner with my husband for one last nice date night before going in to have a baby. The ride up here on the elevator is cool. We had a reservation and were seated quickly. However, our seat gave us no view and was nowhere near the window. I thought the whole point of coming here was for the view. Service started out great. For appetizers, we ordered the cheesesteak egg rolls and the calamari. The cheesesteak egg rolls were nothing special for the price ($21) and two tiny pieces. Philadium has better cheesesteak egg rolls for less than half the price. The calamari was really good and probably best thing of the night. For entrees, we ordered the fried chicken and rigatoni with meatballs. The fried chicken was pretty good, not anything amazing but we enjoyed it. The rigatoni with meatballs was disgusting. Seriously tasted like something you'd buy from the freezer section at the grocery store. As the night went on, service became pretty non existent. But, we were determined to get dessert so we waited. The desserts were actually really good, apple pie Tartlette and chocolate cake. So overall, if you are coming here I'd stick to the appetizers and desserts. But overall, if I had to pick a word to describe our experience here I'd say MID. It's clear people overlook the mediocre food and come for the view. But, we didn't even get a good view so it felt like a ripoff. I can't say I'd recommend coming here, I've had so many better meals for the money we spent. read more

The views of our beautiful city are wonderful everywhere we looked! Our view at dinner was of south Philadelphia: liberty place, the Delaware River, stadiums, etc. The service was impeccable! My wife and I stopped by SkyHigh for drinks before dinner at Vernick Fish, and it was an excellent choice. It was our first proper night out in months with very young kids, and the experience felt genuinely special. This review is for the upper-level bar. We visited once in 2021, and what impressed me most this time is how well SkyHigh has aged. Many modern, design-forward venues look great at first but start to feel tired over time. SkyHigh still feels fresh, polished, and transportive without trying too hard. From the warm lobby welcome to the dramatic elevator ride up, the experience is thoughtfully executed. The views are outstanding, overlooking Philadelphia, the Schuylkill River, and the Art Museum. By 6:30 pm, the bar was already lively. Seating is first-come, first-served, with roughly 20 bar seats plus a standing area, and the turnover kept the energy moving well. They also serve food, though we didn't eat. The ambiance really stands out. The lighting and music felt loungey and upbeat, more Mykonos or Miami Beach than a typical hotel bar. It's energetic but still comfortable for conversation, no need to fill the air. The crowd was stylish but not ostentatious. We had three spicy margaritas, and with tip, the bill came to $91, expensive but expected for a venue of this caliber. The bartender was friendly, professional, skilled, and approachable. I'm often mixed on hotel bars, but SkyHigh really works. It captures a sophisticated side of Philadelphia while remaining tasteful and grounded. Very cool venue high above the city. Nice views if it's not cloudy. You will not be rushed and can have a relaxing experience. For me the food was only ok. The Baratta with bread was a good appetizer. I am told the calamari was very good. The wagu cheesesteak spring roll was only ok. Personally I think it a gimmick. Not enough wagu to enjoy then treat it like cheap meat and cover it with cheese. It was fine but not great. The tenderloin was good, I did not appreciate the sweet pea mousse. We could see that the bar area is a popular spot for after work cocktails. They offer a range of wines from $25 to much, much, more per glass. My fried chicken was perfect. We asked about wine and thought we heard $69 or $89 a bottle and said sure lol - that ended up being per glass, the bottle was about $600 plus - lesson learned - MUST clarify prices at the four seasons lol. Some dishes were extraordinary. The steak was overcooked and cold. Almost not edible because of how chewy it was. When we informed the manager - they offered to warm it up - which we declined since it would have made it even chewier. My original plans had me going to Rouge blocks away but due to the rain, I decided to stay local and go right back upstairs to try Skyhigh for lunch. Started off fortunate since there were four empty bar seats close to the wall so I was able to leave me luggage safely behind me yet out of the way of staff. It was busy around the rest of the bar. I was going to still go with a burger (Rouge, again) but since I would be on a cross-country flight, I decided to go lighter with their butternut squash soup ($18) and a side of fries ($12). Although I counted at least three people behind the bar, it was on the busier side customer-wise so even though they were running around non-stop, service was on the very slow side. The side I was sitting on wasn't empty for long, and those that came after me were waiting for a while as well. The presentation for the soup was nice and also the best part of this lunch. I really didn't care much for the fries (shocker) but I finished them off anyway. As expected, it took a while to get the bill, and a little more to get everything back. I will say the service-when you could get it-was pleasant. Skyhigh definitely has what it needs; from a great location high above the city, being in The Four Seasons, this venue has a lot going for them. I'll pass it off being the week after Christmas, even for a Monday but I do hope things will improve on a future visit. read more

I wish I could give this a better review as the ambiance is just so good - everything in the venue feels like you're in a James Bond movie, just in Philadelphia. I don't think there's a more luxurious feeling room, at least that is modern, that I've been to in Philadelphia, and really this rivals the luxury of a lot of dining establishments in NYC. While all of that is good they somehow have not so great food, and bad drinks. I don't know why, but the Ginger Margarita that is a JG staple at so many restaurants is just not hitting here. Every dish we ordered was sooooooo mid, we came for brunch, but tried both brunch foods and lunch foods. I really was hoping for something more, but really the draw is the view. We had a truly Zen experience at Sky High - it's got to be near the top of the list of the most unique restaurants in the city. What views. We had breakfast; it was quiet, tranquil and with the sun shining over the city into the restaurant, we were completely absorbed into the moment. I ordered the Feta cheese-Spinach omelette and my partner ordered the Brioche French Toast. She also ordered the Green Juice, which is a combination of spinach, cucumber, kale, apple, lemon and ginger. It had a 'healthy' flavor! I was underwhelmed by my omelette - I was quite surprised. I was recently in New York, and had an omelette at Balthazar - it was memorable - fluffy, full of feta, mushrooms, onions and spinach. The omelette by JG was a very thin egg rolled around such a small amount of spinach and an even smaller amount of feta. It was flavorless to a large degree - I'm still in disbelief. Fortunately, I was quickly brought out of my funk when my friend offered to share her French Toast, it was quite a large portion, and she sympathized with me after tasting the omelette. Is it the best French Toast you've ever had - maybe. It ranks near the top of my list. It's not challah, which has its own unique texture and flavor, it's brioche.....a very, very thick cut of brioche. Its light and perfectly cooked interior is complimented by a slightly crunchy exterior. It's brioche you've never had before. How JG was able to create such a dish piqued my curiosity. I'm guessing it's baked - in order to get such a supple, yet firm interior with such a large piece of brioche. Excellent. We had the bacon as a side - which crisp and very tasty.
