New owner and changes are awesome!! Very clean inside, everyone is easy to understand and talk to. They offer bottles of water and heard they will be serving wine soon! They also have a tv and about a billion gel colors. I went in for a pedicure today, and my toenail had fallen off a couple months ago. I can genuinely say this is the best nail salon and best nail experience in general!! Everything was perfect. I had the deluxe pedicure and it was incredible. They're gentle and not rough with any of the tools, which I loved because at other salons I usually end up cut from a clipper or file. The leg massage and other scrubs and lotions they used all felt AMAZING! I also had a gel fill, which was awesome and I LOVED that it was immediately dry! Also, the shape of the nails is EXACTLY how I wanted it, it's like she could read my mind, lol! Kelsey is so sweet and personable and very helpful! I believe it was Linda who did my nails and she was awesome, and unfortunately I can't remember the name of the woman who gave my pedicure, but she was amazing as well! I've been coming to the salon for going on three years and always feel very taken care of by Kelsey and her team. I have a pretty simple style so I don't do more than a gel manicure or standard pedicure but I can assure you the service is top notch, prices are reasonable, and it's a family oriented place. Other salons just don't compare - and it holds a special place in my heart (lots of great memories of girl dates with my late mother). Thanks for your continued hard work! read more

When I lived in Rocklin this was my go to spot. I recently went back while I was in town. I had an appt which I was seated 15 minutes late for. I got the older man who was extremely rough. I got the basic pedicure which was $30, I was expected at least a 30 minute pedicure...wrong. I timed it and it lasted a little under 17 minutes. Very disappointing. read more

I've been to multiple places trying to find a nail salon that does chrome nails. I've been here 3 times and all 3 times they've knocked it out of the park. I made the mistake and tried a new place out of convenience won't say which because just not nice to knock any business down, service was good but they just couldn't do chrome. And besides I'm here to tell you that Sky Nails place to go if you live in this are. But that doesn't even matter to me I travel all the way from Granite Bay to come here. LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!! I have spend so many years searching for a place that has great customer service, beautiful and energetic employees, and extremely talented nail technicians. I have been going her for about a year not, and don't see myself going anywhere else. As soon as I walk into this salon I am instantly greeted with smiles and directed quickly to my nail technician with no waiting periods. I love trying new things with my nails so I come prepared most of the time with a picture of the style I want and they are always able to successfully accomplish the look I'm going for which is actually challenging in many salons. I went to Sky Nails with a friend last night. The service we got was great. I got a full set and was extremely pleased that my manicurist took her time to shape my nails and even replace one of the tips that was not cooperating with the shape; she wanted to make sure they all matched. The atmosphere was very quiet, unlike most places where the nail techs are all speaking to one another rather than their clients. This made for a great place to relax and just enjoy the manicure. My ONLY con about this place is the fact that it cost $5 to have my acrylics shaped "almond" style. I've never been charged extra for a shape, because most techs take their time regardless of shape. So that was pretty disappointing to have to pay even more for different filing when it really didn't seem like she had to take more time then when I normally get oval. read more

Best Pedicure Ever - I've gone to high end Spas around the world and convenient strip mall nail salons for decades. This Spa Pedicure, is by far the best I've ever had and at $32, it was a bargain for the hour of service received. (I was fortunate this last time to have Mai (who works F-Sun) do my pedicure, but I have had others and in my opinion they are all top notch.) Who would have thought a nail salon next to a Savemart in Rocklin, is the little piece of foot heaven I've been longing to find. First, a sanitary liner, perfect water temp with floating orange slices, your choice of non-irritating mask (cucumber is my fav) on your legs while a sterile bag of instruments is opened and your toes are expertly clipped, filed, cuticles removed, calluses scrubbed. Then, the soothing mask is removed with warm water and orange slices, a salt scrub of your choice (mine was green tea), a warm oil and lavender lotion massage follows. It was expertly, almost clinically done and went on far longer than any pedicure I've ever had. Next, a hot towel soak while warm paraffin wax treatment does its magic. Then comes the hot stone massage before the meticulously applied polish. Run, don't walk, to give your feet and legs the hour of bliss they deserve. Recommend calling first for an appointment. I've walked in and not been able to make the wait time, but they have always honored their appointment times. You are a class act, Sky Nails! read more

This review is only for their customer service, as we did not stay and have our nails done there. I called around noon for a 3 p.m. appt with my daughter and myself. They asked what services we wanted (dip for her, pedicure for me). We arrived 5 minutes early and I said we had a 3 p.m. appointment and the name, and they asked what services we wanted (again). I noticed two other ladies waiting and all the pedicure chairs occupied, with one manicure person just starting another client. I waited until 3 and then a lady approached us to ask us AGAIN what services we were there for, and to go pick a color. (Stall tactic?) Clearly by 3:10 when I saw that 2 other ladies were waiting before us, it was obvious we would not be getting our services for at least 20 more minutes, we left. I am not waiting at these places that over book and double book their appointments any longer. My time is valuable and that is no way to run a business. read more

Good job on the nails and have a nice variety of colors. The only issue is that they chipped after 7 days. They warranty them for 10 days so I was able to get them fixed. But now more have chipped so I would recommend that they extend their guarantee for 2 weeks like other salons. They have cool new colors/effects, chrome, cats eyes, etc. read more
