I have been very happy with her work. This salon is located by Stanford Ranch, in the complex across from Black Bear Diner. A lot of parking spaces are available. Quiet and welcoming. My experience overall was very pleasant. The workers were very nice and they did a lovely job with my pedicure, but they low-key scammed me. When asked which pedicure option to choose, i chose the basic one which i believe is around $35, but in the end it ended up being around $55 dollars. I remember pointing to the option i wanted on the menu and the worker was like "yea yea" but it was like he was trying not to see the option i was choosing. Honestly, not surprised with this. It's kind of common with Vietnamese culture to want to charge you more. I would know because my mom's literally Vietnamese and she warns me about this all the time. Anyways, just be careful!! I got there at 6:20 PM. This wasnt my first time going. The service was amazing as always. What impressed me the most is that I got the best quality work from the lady who did my nails up to the last service from lotioning and massaging my hands and arms while they were closing as it was almost 8 o'clock. This impressed me because she did not make me feel in a hurry. She gave me the right quality time and service to the last minute. Jack - the guy who did my toes for the 2nd time! He is amazing!!! He makes me laugh and always always asks, "does it hurt there? Are you okay?" Every step he does he asks if I am okay! He did my toes twice and I will definitely request him from now on. The owner! - ahhh she is amazing! So welcoming and was always surprised and happy every time I went back! She showed me good service and high quality with my nails. I have never had a full set last me more than 1 month. This time I decided to do gel and give my nails a break from a full set. They turned out beautiful! The colors she has are unique and always different than places I've been to. Overall- I don't think I will go to another place. This will be my nail place to go! I'm really sad to provide this update, but I just went to the salon to get a full set acrylic manicure and pedicure, and was not pleased with the outcome. The pedicure was good, and went well. I have no comments for that. For the manicure, i had asked for an almond french tip. Initially, there was someone who was doing my nails but they cut the acrylic really short and when I had asked if it would be too short they kept saying that they would shape it and it would be fine, but I politely asked for them to change our the nails (before putting on any acrylic/paint because I didn't want to get to the end with a shape I was unhappy with. Then they switched the nail tech to someone else to restart my nails, and they were sweet! However, the entire manicure process alone took 2.5 hours and there were multiple points where they had to stop because a different tech would need to come in to fix my nails. I personally didn't like how it was a lot of restarting and fixing (from different techs) for something like a french manicure. Lastly, I got the nails done on Friday and one of the nails completely broke off the next day. I'm worried for the longevity of the rest of the nails if one nail came off a day after. I really liked this place and all of the nail techs are super nice but I was just not pleased with the last visit. read more

I do not understand how this nail salon has an almost 5 star rating. I went with my friend on Friday and by the next Thursday, I had to pull most of my gel nails off because 9 nails either chipped or lifted! They lifted to the point that my hair was getting caught underneath when I would run my fingers thru my hair. I could already tell the manicure was poorly done because a lot of the gel polish was on my skin and cuticles. I wish I said something. I don't know which is worse though because the lady who did my gel pedicure kept filing my toes... I would wince in pain and she didn't even acknowledge she was hurting my toes. THEN on top of that, I told the pedicure lady the 2 coats was too light as it didn't match the sample I chose, so I asked for 3 coats. She looks at me and puts up 2 fingers and says "three". After several tries she finally understood and put a third coat on my left foot, but tried to NOT put a third coat on my right foot!!!! I'm sorry but seriously... how is that acceptable? I told her again that I wanted 3 coats, but she continued to finish my right foot so my friend called one of the other ladies over to explain to her she needed to put a third coat also on my right foot. She begrudgingly did it and when she was done, she flung the arm of the chair up and proceeded to angrily shoo me out of the chair. I was not wrong to ask for a third coat for my damn toes to match! I wish this particular worker would recognize customers are paying her for the service and do not deserve to be treated poorly! One and done with this salon! read more

I had been going to blue skies nail salon for over four years! My nail technician was lynn. She is the co-owner of the salon. I started with her during Covid (as a referral from a friend). The last five times of going in and having my services done with Lynne was absolutely ridiculous! I would make an appointment a couple days before hand and I would come to the salon and I would be sitting in her chair for over an hour waiting to get my fill and pedicure services started because she was catering to every walk-in that would walk through the door to make sure that they were comfortable and having their services started, and then she would come back to me. I feel this is absolutely ridiculous because when you make an appointment with someone, that is the reason why you make an appointment so you can get your services completed and done by a certain time and be out and on your way to finish your day. I helped this woman become number one on Yelp with an award, I also helped with her having great reviews on Google and this is the way I ended up getting treated. Enough is enough! Her prices were very reasonable but now she up charges for EVERYTHING (I understand the cost of living is way up right now but I thought the basic nail shaping is included with your nails being done not what shape they want to do) nail shape, length and pedicure prices are way up and she rushes your pedicure so she can get the next client in her chair. Typically a pedicure takes 45 minutes to an hour, that's what you're paying for but with her it's done in 30 minutes! I would have a broken nail after explaining to her my nail is broken and needs to be replaced but she would say it's ok no worries slap more acrylic on top of it (see picture below) but then the next day it breaks then she would get an attitude because I have to come back in to have it fixed! How is that my fault? I just don't understand how someone can go from such a nice salon owner to a greedy, nasty person in no time! I will add this last little tidbit. One concerning issue with this salon is that she uses used files, pedicure pumas stones and metal implements on clients over and over without disinfecting any of them or using brand new files and pumice stones. This is why hepatitis, infectious diseases are so big in salons today because of this issue!! I hope if you read this review you will think twice before you going here and if you do end up going to this salon for services pay attention to the few things that I mentioned in this review about the dirty implements being used over and over. JUST A THOUGHT: Look at your file before they put it to your nails and see if it's been used if so, I would request a new one. When you use a file on someone you're scraping the skin of each person which could cause a cut and then the blood goes into the file and then it can be transferred to you and that's how infections are spread!
