ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND!! I called at around 11:12 AM and asked for a 12 PM appointment. They said yes I drove over and they immediately sat me down and started working on my nails. The guy who did my nails was absolutely amazing and super nice I was in and out in 53 minutes, which is the fastest I've ever got my nails done. It's also the cheapest I've ever gotten my nails done and the work was absolutely amazing. Believe it or not, I have never gotten my nails done. I've always had naturally decent nails. But after having some downtime in Rocklin, I decided to stop by Sun Nails after reading raving reviews. As many of the reviews mentioned how amazing Kevin is, I decided to call in to schedule an appointment with him. He was able to fit me in for a same day appt. I walked in and told him I had never gotten acrylics before so I had no idea how it worked. He listened to and answered all of my dumb questions and made small talk while working on my nails. He worked efficiently but carefully, making sure I was satisfied every step of the way. He recommended getting a gel manicure as it lasts much longer. All together, my acrylics + gel polish cost 35 dollars + tip. Bring cash if you can. They prefer cash but they do take credit card. I definitely will be back in the future! read more

Im sad to have had this experience after I loved going there so much. As you can see in the pictures my nails look horrible. Kevin, the one who did them was clearly rushing to finish them after these two girls came in. He was talking to them and not paying attention to what he was doing at all. After I told him the paint wasn't on my nails right he got mad and started to file my nails so fast it started to burn. These pictures are of the same day I got them done. I called and made appointment today to get an acrylic set and pedicure done. I came in and they sat me down right away. Binh did my acrylic set and I specifically told him I wanted to go a little shorter cause my nails were so grown out and also coffin shaped. I was feeling a little skeptical about it because I usually do long nails and it looks good with my fingers, but in this case I needed them shorter for work. I wanted them to be all painted black and my ring finger a "purple green" chrome color. Everything was fine, EXCEPT the one thing that started irritating me was that he kept getting up and answering the phone probably like 10 times. There was 4 other girls that were at the other side of the store. I think 2 of them didn't know how to speak English. Each time he got up and answered the phone my patience was wearing thin. I wanted to get my toes done along with my brows waxed too, but I couldn't take it anymore. Also it's a pet peeve, but the gap between my cuticles and nails shouldn't be showing as much. Very subpar gel manicure and regular pedi. As I was getting my pedi, I started to notice that all my nails were missing the shiny part of the gel manicure in places. They redid it during my pedicure. In under two weeks, I had some chips on my fingernails, and chips on my toenails, which I have never had happen. It all seemed very rushed to me and very so so polishes. Early this week I went to Organic nails they told me it would be 20 minute wait. I went and got tea and came back after 55 minutes of waiting I left. Went back before I went to Sun nails to give them a chance and even though the hours on the door said they were open they were closed. So we called around and found Sun nails. Pedicures seem to be getting to complicated with this add on and that add on I just wanted something simple. Great scrub, comfortable chairs 25$ per pedicure and my daughter got a flower for five extra dollars.
