My mom recently moved out of the house she and my father purchased and had lived in together for the last 25 years. He passed away in 2020 and she needed to sell their house and downsize. She was understandably under a ton of stress, Skooped really helped make moving my moms stuff out of her house, into storage for the staging, and then moving all of her stuff into the new place so easy. It was one thing she didn't have to worry about. There were on time and crazy efficient. They cleared out her storage unit and what was left in her old house then unloaded it to the new place in only 3 hours. Brendan was amazing to work with. My timeline wasn't set in stone so he really accommodated me as I pushed my timeline further and further out. I moved from San Francisco to Orange County (California). Brendan picked up my stuff at noon on a Friday and I received delivery of it on Saturday around 2PM. He is very easy going and provides updates often. He even shared his live location with me (on Apple Find My) so I was able to track the progress of the move. He was upfront about any traffic and breaks he needed to take which was more than reasonable. For the quality of work and price, it will be hard to beat his small business. DO NOT USE! We've scheduled pickup and delivery for two large items with sellers. Brendon flaked on us the day we are supposed to move them. He wanted more money and when we didn't agree he shut his phone and never responded to us. Now we already paid for this items and if they are not moved on the day we lose our money. We hired Skooped to move us from CA to TX on relatively short notice. We were glad we did, as we could not have done with without their full service. Didn't trust going through a moving broker, have read the horror stories that others have experienced. Brendon and crew were great. Carefully packing and preparing our items for transport. Crew worked fast, packing and disassembling certain item. Amazing how they load the items on the trucks, like a huge jigsaw puzzle. Items arrived in Texas on promised dates. I had recently hired Skooped for a moving job at my place of employment. We needed to move a small apartments worth of furniture to three different location in the city, and because we are a non-profit, it had to be affordable. Brendon from Skooped got back to me with a quote at 1/2 the price of others, and although I thought I would need three movers, Brendon said the job can be done with two, keeping costs low. They showed up a little late due to Bay Bridge traffic but called, emailed and left a message with our office manager to inform us. And once here, they were quick to get the truck loaded and the furniture to homes and families in need. 5 stars with absolutely no doubts! Great job! We had to move 4 bedrooms, 2 story house to another 2 story. Lots of heavy pieces and stairs. The team consisted of 4 guys with Brandon as a foreman. They worked very fast and well-coordinated. And they've been polite and considerate to our needs. It took them 2 trips to get everything moved. Plus they did junk hauling, which was another headache for me. And it was very minimal additional price. In general, Brandon gave me fixed price as a quote, and it worked much better for me, because I did not have to worry about human/hrs, truck/hrs and other confusing things. I cannot say enough about Brendon and his company SKOOPED Moving and Delivery. I am currently in medical school and I was in the process of moving from Northern California to Seattle when my Mom and I met Brendon on Memorial Day (Monday). My Mom was visiting from Southern California to help me pack and move my things into a storage unit. We previously discussed using another group of people to help us with the move but I was unable to reach them the night before we were going to move my furniture from my apartment. Stressed and concerned about how I would get my items out, I contacted Brendon hoping he would be able to help us. He was very professional, respectful and understanding of my situation. He continually reassured me that he wanted to help alleviate my stress caused by moving. With less than a 24 hour notice Brendon came to my apartment and gave me a free estimate the next day, Tuesday. He quoted me a fair price that worked within my budget. I had to attend an afternoon training that day and when I returned he and his crew were already in the process of moving my furniture and took the items to Goodwill per my request. Brendon also provided us with moving boxes and tape. I had originally planned on placing many of my items in storage until my return in one year or longer. As my Mom and I were literally driving to the storage facility Brendon contacted me and informed me that he had another client that was moving her items to Arizona. He offered to take my items to my Mom's house in Southern California on his way back from Arizona. Brendon quoted me a price that worked well within my budget and this saved me at least a year's worth of storage fees plus the cost of renting a moving truck and transporting my belongings to Southern California myself. After I packed the remainder of my things Brendon came to my apartment again on Wednesday to pick up my boxes and move them to Southern California. Brendon has been extremely helpful during a very stressful time. He has saved me a lot of money and I felt like my personal belongings were in good hands. The sweetest thing that I appreciate the most is how respectful he was with us and especially with my Mom. It was pretty hot on the days my Mom and I were packing and Brendon offered to bring us cold water and gatorade. He also offered to bring food for my Mom because my kitchen was in no condition to be used for cooking. I strongly recommend using SKOOPED Moving and Delivery if you are moving within or outside of the state. The prices cannot be beat and Brendon is very down to earth, humble and professional.
