San Leandro Movers were affordable, efficient, and professional. We used a 4-person crew to move a 3-bedroom house with a fairly large amount of stuff. It was almost entirely packed ahead of time, so they were really fast at loading up the truck, and packed up a few loose items that I hadn't gotten to. The movers were friendly, respectful, and prompt. Only minor issue was that they took a ding out of a window sill on a stair landing. But after contacting the management, they easily dealt with reimbursing us for the repair amount requested by our home's buyer. I highly recommend at least getting a quote from SL Movers for your next move. read more

Ivan, Alex and Igor are AMAZING. As a team leader, Ivan is polite and professional. They moved some BIG FURNITURE. These guys are the superheroes of movers. We moved to Estudillo Estates in San Leandro. They are strong than 50 bears. Prices are reasonable with no surprises at the end of 8 hours moving. We highly recommend them. San Leandro Movers- Courteous, Responsive, Reliable & (most importantly) Honest! I found them to be an extremely professional moving company! I am so impressed by the over-all encounter with The San Leandro Movers that I will never take a chance with any other moving company. Their rates are not only fair they are by far the most competitive rates I have found, and believe me, I did my research. From Start To Finish, Everything went Flawlessly! My move was a two part move and from the initial booking to the final moving stage; I was continuously impressed with their professional attitude, prompt follow-up, helpfulness, and genuine concern. On Time, Patient, Kind & Straightforward! The estimate I was given from the first phone call, was exactly what I was I charged. Honest, reliable, hardworking guys, with no hidden agenda! The POSITIVE MOVING EXPERIENCE with San Leandro Movers was by far more than I ever could have hoped from a moving company! The lead mover on my job was Mike at 310-866-5270 Call, you won't be disappointed. Patricia- Newport Beach, CA read more

Everything that could possibly be shattered into pieces will be. Glass shelves - shattered Glass entertainment center - shattered Glass dishes and cookware - shattered Glass decorations - shattered TV - cracked Printer - destroyed Mementos - Crushed into powder This includes things we packed ourselves and things the movers packed (TV/entertainment center/et cetera). I've got half a dozen boxes full of shattered glass now that I can't even unpack without sending glass fragments all over the house. I left voicemails asking for a call back to settle this and they seem intent on ignoring me, but I will not let it slide. If you like turning your belongings into shattered fragments, definitely go with these guys. Otherwise avoid. read more

So I have mixed reviews. The first time we hired this company they were great. I called them night before, in hopes that they would maybe have an opening for the next day, and they did. The team who moved us from our condo on the 3rd floor into our storage was great. They were efficient and timely. We hired them again a month later to move us from our storage into our home. This time we got a different set of guys. These guys seemed to hate their job and moved very slow. Not only that, they scrapped up the wall in our new home. When I contacted the mover about it he said that "he will check with his guy" because he did not remember hitting the wall. He never got back to me. So a month after no response, I called the company to speak to the boss. He was not in. So I left a voicemail. No one ever contacted me back. So, I do not think I will be using them again. read more

We have moved several times within the Bay Area, and our experience with Ivan, Val and Oleg is one of the best! The team was punctual, exceedingly professional, hardworking and efficient. They took great care of our furnitures throughout the process (taking things apart, wrapping, moving and reassembling), as well as our brand-new carpet as if they were their own. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who want to move their home and/or business. read more

What to look for when you hire a moving company? 1st is rates, they beat all rates in east bay. 2nd how many guys, they sent me 3 hard working guys. 3rd availability, they worked with my time and date. These guys came in 10 minutes early with lots of Energy. One of them is 7'1 tall and the others are super fast. Great attitude. They moved me from Hayward to Dublin in less then 3 hours. Highly recommended read more

I will for sure use them again....if I move anytime soon lol read more

I used SL Movers for a local move and my window for the movers to show up was from 2pm-5pm. I had to call a few times to follow up on when the movers would show up. Finally I got a call back at 5pm saying they are running late and did not know about the move until that time. The 3 movers showed up at 7pm and did not finish the move till 11pm. It was so late at night that the movers were already tired from thier previous move already. I was also told that the company would provide wardrobe boxes and they only boxed one closet and stated they only had 4 boxes to provide. So we ended up having to move all our clothes separtley from the other 2 bedrooms. Note they only used one wardrobe box for that one closet. Not sure where the other 3 wardrobe boxes was used for? Also one more thing, 2 of the movers had really bad body oder. I do have one good comment, the lead mover did apologize for thier tardiness and tired to keep the other movers going as fast as they can. But other than that, it was a bad overall experience. read more

I needed movers and I needed them fast, like in two days. I must admit, I was given enough time to pack and get my stuff moved to my other house, but like most people I just procrastinated and waited until the last minute. I was like why do it today, when I can do it tomorrow. Also, I figure I'm a big strong guy, I can do this all by myself................NOT!!! Only a nut would try to move from one 1500 sq foot upstairs/downstairs to another home all by themselves. Reality hit me like a ton of bricks my 3rd week into moving and filling up a `10x15 storage locker and being only halfway done. OMG, I haven't even finished the downstairs yet. I made a promise that I would be out by July 23 so buyers could gander at the property without all my shit being in it. Here it is July 20th and I still have about 23 items including a refrigerator, washer and dryer, china cabinet and dining table made out of pure mahogany that weighed a ton and would require at least two or three people to move it. I called one moving company and they gave me a "preview" date of 27 or 28 July. I told them that was way too late and I need them now. They couldn't help me then I got on my yelp and noticed "San Leandro Movers" and all their great reviews. I went to their web page, punched in my contact information and in less than 15 minutes I was contacted by Anna. I told Anna my ordeal and I couldn't believe it when she told me she could have movers at my place that very day!!! Even I had to step back and think about that for a second. That was too damn fast so we agreed on Wednesday between 8 and 9am and the movers were at my door at exactly 9:02am. Alex led the team. They were professional, they were quick, and they took care of my property as if was something they owned themselves. It took them 3 hours and 15 minutes to wrap, pack, take the property to the other house and unload again. It cost me $356.00 total and they were worth every penny. These guys are the best, I highly recommend them should you ever need to make a mad move. read more

I highly recommend this company. They helped me move my business and then I called them when I was moving from my apartment. Konstantin and Hallan were amazing. Very helpful and fast. Great movers! They took great care of our large items, wrapping them thoroughly. But most importantly, they were punctual and fast workers. We did most of the packing so a 4 hour move cost us about $380. We got a discount because they wanted to reschedule but would have kept our original time if needed. Would definitely use these guys again. read more

These guys were great. Very fast, arrived early and were awesome to work with. Nothing was damaged and they wrapped all the big furniture in plastic for me so it didn't get dirty as I was temporarily moving some of it into a garage space. I would recommend them in the future to anyone moving in the LA area. Also they bring wardrobe boxes for free your cloths which is awesome as those boxes can get expensive. Ask for Hayk and Kana's team when you call as they were the ones that moved me. read more

So today was the 5th time I have used this company. Not one disappointment to date. Guys had a 9:00 a.m. start time, showed early and apologized. They were absolute work horses. I have a ton of large and heavy items going from my home to storage here in San Leandro. I don't know why they didn't run off when they saw the place but they just dove right in smiling from start to finish. Not one broken item or complaint. They also know their stuff when it comes to packing it in efficiently. No need to use anyone else. Thanks again... read more
