For both moves, there were 2 guys each with 1 truck, and they were fast/efficient and polite/professional! Got the move done both times in under 2 hours. Also really appreciate George, who I spoke with on the phone a few times and was helping me with the 2 separate moves and quotes. I was moving end of June/early July so it was a really busy time since it was around the holiday. George helped fit me in, and also gave me a really reasonable quote. We used xu's moving a few months ago. They were fast and efficient but just learned that they broke…read morethe leg on one of our dressers and instead of letting us know, they screwed two screws into it to "fix it" and hid their mistake. We learned of the broken leg when we had to reposition the dresser and realized it was broken and not stable. We place our tv on this dresser and it is very unsafe knowing how the dresser has been standing on only 3 legs. Very disappointing.

We had a challenging move from downtown S.F. to Berkeley, to a house that is in the middle of multiple construction projects. Yet they made everything feel easy. I had gotten food poisoning the day before and we were stressing because we hadn't yet finished packing. But it was no problem--they loaded the truck with the items that were ready to go while we packed the rest. Make sure to ask for Joseph and his team (Fernando and Victor). They arrived a little early so they'd be ready and were the utmost professional while also being a warm and friendly team of guys. We would have them over dinner any time. Because of Joseph I'm now convinced that moving is both an art and an athletic feat. We had a recliner (100lbs) and a treadmill (200lbs) that were too wide to go through a doorway--and yet he maneuvered them effortlessly through without a scratch on either.
