Based on that experience I requested a quote on short notice for a local move. While they were already booked for my first date/time choice they fit me in the very next day. They arrived on time, ready to work. They were professional and efficient. Everything made it without incident. While it took a bit longer than estimated, that was clearly because I underestimated how much we had to move. The price was reasonable for the time and effort they expended. The service provided by S-One moving is probably one of the best in industry. If coupled with the price they charged, they are probably the best in terms of value per buck. I don't know what else we could compliment, they are just the overwhelmingly the champion in the past 3 years since 2023. They completed an intra-city move for us in 2023. They also delivered quite admirably for a long-distance move from Oakland to Hollister for us in 2025. I highly recommend this place. Mike and his team were fantastic! I've used 5+ moving companies in my 10 years in San Francisco and can honestly say this was the best experience. Mike and the guys had no issue with the 6 flights of stairs for the 5 hour move across the neighborhood -- heavy items with that many stairs for that long was ALOT. I will forever me impressed and grateful! At this point in my life I have acquired a bunch of weird objects and mike and his team packaged, moved and ensured everything worked and was dent free upon arrive at my new house (something not all movers will do). I had an excellent experience with this moving company! We thought the move would take 6 hours but underestimated the time and it actually took close to 11 hours due to all the little items that were not packed correctly in the storage units from previous moving company and there was 2 very large units. This was not an easy move by far based on how much stuff we had and how it was poorly packed again, by prior movers. We had 3 great guys(Walter, Iskender and Sayan) and they were wonderful! Very professional, polite, timely, careful with my items and quick workers that stayed positive in the 100 degrees weather and never complained about how much needed to be moved or how long it took. They kept telling me they were available as long as I needed them and anything that I asked them to do they always smiled and completed my request In addition, booking my date with the company was easy and professional.
