I love working with these guys! Eduardo is very communicative and prompt. This team helped me move from El Sobrante to Crockett. I had a studio-sized amount of boxes and furniture and Eduardo and his teammate moved everything in less than two hours. This time around, Eduardo was there with his teammate and moved two rooms worth of furniture and boxes to my storage unit, again under two hours. They were patient and helpful when there was issues at the storage unit. Super flexible about things I wanted to add last minute. They took tables, cabinets, and other furniture pieces for me, but carefully wrapped them in wool and plastic to protect them during transport. I had about 30 boxes that they handled with care. They work fast!! I highly recommend! Efficient, careful, and reasonably priced. Saved me so much physical effort and mental stress. read more

Reliable. Efficient. Affordable. Don't hesitate to give them a call for a free quote. My go to guys when it comes to moving and hauling.

We hired Eduardo and his team this week to move us from Oakland to Las Vegas. I want to be clear, I am not going to dig on them. Everyone was super nice and fairly thoughtful. The guys that loaded me up and unleaded the stuff were all fantastic people. Eduardo and his wife are super sweet and great to talk to. But, that does not a business make. Eduardo needs a manager until he is ready. As a fledgling business I wanted to give him my business, because he is young, hope-filled, and very conscious of his customer's needs. Still there were so many problems. HOWEVER, he got most of my stuff where it was supposed to be in one piece. And that counts for a lot. - He is not insured. - I specifically said I wanted my stuff in an enclosed truck and it arrived piled (yes, piled like a clown car) on the back of his pickup. If it rained... there would have been no way. - 8:30 time to show up, got started somewhere around 11 and finished about 2pm putting us 4 hours behind schedule - Was supposed to be delivered the next morning, arrived midnight the next day. - All ... ALL of our lamp shades were missing. They were old and in great condition and classic for the beautiful maps we have... (sigh) - would not answer any of the 3 texts I sent him in the following days as he and his wife remained in Las Vegas. Only showed up 5 days later to get his moving blankets and only came when I was not home. I was rooting for him whole heartedly. I tipped well. I wanted him to shine. But, it was not great. Not bad. My partner talked and we kinda gave up ever seeing the stuff at one point. But, glad he came through in the end. But, still kinda bummed. read more

This was our first time hiring movers and the experience with Dom's Moving could not have been better. We needed movers for the following weekend and most places I found were either booked or too expensive. Called Dom's moving and scheduling with them was so easy. Sent pictures of our furniture ahead of time, and on moving day their 2-man team worked quickly and efficiently. Got our 1 bedroom apartment all moved over to our new place in 3 hours flat. Would absolutely recommend Dom's Moving to anyone in the Bay Area. Thanks again! read more

I was hoping to like them. I was having them help me move from my condo to my parent's house then when my house was done being built then I'd have them move those items to my new house. They broke two of my shoe cabinets, which they reimbursed me for but then I noticed they stacked all my heavy items on top of regular boxes and they started to smash and break things on the bottoms box because it couldn't stand the weight. They were able to refund me some money from the damage but that's only from what I saw. I won't know what else damage was done until I hire another company to move. read more

Dom's moving truly saved me today and I am so grateful for their responsiveness. I called looking for someone to help me pick up and move a piece of furniture from Urban Ore into my apartment. Eduardo was communicative, friendly, and affordable. Prior to finding Dom's, I had called other mover companies who were far more expensive and unavailable, yet, when I called Dom's they were quick, responsive, and willing to help. Not only were they more than willing to help, but they also offered to come pretty much in that moment. He drove to Urban Ore, helped load the vanity, drove it to my apartment, unloaded it, and brought it up a flight of stairs into my room. From calling to having a vanity in my room, the whole ordeal took about an hour if not less. I am so grateful for Eduardo's help and would totally recommend to others. Definitely the best choice. read more

Just had Eduardo and his team (Raymond & Enrique) help my wife and I with our local move. They were responsive and flexible with the move dates - which helped us a lot since our oversight caused us to push out the move date. They were responsive in the communication leading up to the move and got to work after a brief walk through (to survey the work). They were punctual and super efficient and incredibly hard working - we had some very large and heavy furniture pieces. Fair prices - hard working - pleasant to work with! Definitely saving their number for our next move! ;) read more

Eduardo and his colleague are such amazing workers. They had to carry so many boxes up 3 flights of stairs. It wasn't any easy job by any means I'll tell you that, and they were professional and efficient throughout the whole job. This business is honest and very reliable. He said he was going to be at my 1st place 9:30-10, and he even came a bit earlier. Then even got the job done in less than 3 hours time. I was impressed. Great attitude, super professional, no hidden fees, what more can you ask for? I told my friends how great of workers they were, and they booked them for their move later this month, and even recommended her family members to book with them for their future move. That being said, you better hire these guys fast before they get fully booked up! read more

I highly recommend Don's Moving and most likely will use them again in the future. I had a small move from Oakland to North Berkeley but since it was just me and my boyfriend we needed the extra help. I reached out to Eduardo and he was very transparent about the pricing and reassured me that there were no hidden fees. Booking was super easy and the movers came right on time. They cleared out our old apartment in less than two hours! Our new place had two narrow flights of stairs and they were able to move everything into place and helped reassemble with no damage. They made moving day so much less stressful for us so it was worth every last dollar. read more

Doms Moving and Hauling has been the best company I've hired, since moving to the bay area. I've hired them for different jobs, from yard waste removal, furniture pickup and removal, and even delicate antique hauling. Every job they've done for us have always been done quickly and thoroughly. They've been very polite and very professional in all areas. It's so refreshing to hire a trustworthy company, that you'll never have to worry or question! We would highly recommend them, again and again! read more

8-24-22 Purchased a patio set in San Ramon and Eduardo picked it up and delivered to Hayward. Had to change the time, but he was so easy to communicate with. As always, he picked up on scheduled time and delivered promptly, unloaded everything and was on his way. I will continue to use Dom's Moving for all purchases and moving. I used Doms moving and Hauling for moving to my new house. Honestly I was skeptical when Eduardo brought his truck if all of my stuff would fit into it. But I was wrong. His truck is not tall but long enough fitting everything into the truck. And Eduardo and his coworker were hard working ppl. We had three story town house so it was pretty tough to move out all the furniture from the rooms on the third floor, but they didn't even take a break in between to move everything out of the rooms in timely manner. Top of that, Eduardo hauled all the junk except for the piano (my junk was filled in the one car garage) with reasonable price. So it was totally hassle free for me not too worry about throwing the junk away. I would definitely use them again! My only suggestion though, it would be much nicer if you used shoe covers or placed carpet to protect the floors read more

This is my second time using Eduardo's team for my move and once again they delivered top-notch quality and care for the best prices around. I cannot recommend this team highly enough. My request for two movers was on short notice, and Eduardo still got me the movers at a fantastic rate. Kevin and Raymond both had amazing positive energy and a rock solid work ethic, plus they supplied everything and anything someone would need to help pack things up. read more

These guys are absolutely amazing, packing, organizing, and the attitude! Fantastic, had their own equipment and dollies, and the care ! I felt like they had more care for my stuff than I did! Assembling and disassembling furniture was easy work for them and they insisted in placing furniture where I felt comfortable was comfortable! Thanks again! read more

On June 23rd, I booked an appointment to move on July 31st. On July 27th I was notified that the move was cancelled due to the company being in Texas for another move. It is obvious to me that the company took a more profitable move and instead of giving proper notice and allowing time for me to reschedule with another company, it put me in a very challenging situation. Fortunately, I was a logistics officer in the military so don't worry I will figure it out. Just have some decency and give your customers proper notice when canceling. Actually, in this scenario it would be appropriate for this company to pay for move of the customer who they have not given proper notice to as now I may pay 2x as much because of inproper planning on their part. read more

Just book these guys--it will be the best decision you make this week. I had a large sofa that my previous moving company claimed wouldn't fit up my stairs into my condo and therefore left it in my garage. Eduardo and his team from Doms Moving and Hauling didn't bat an eye and made easy work of it. They were prompt, efficient, tidy, and super friendly. Can't recommend them enough. read more

Best moving experience I could have hoped for! Look no further for your moving/hauling needs. I needed to move a rather large wine fridge across the East Bay and found the best price and service with Dom's. I got a quick response with a simple quote and called to confirm the next morning. Eduardo was prompt, polite, and helpful every step of the way. He confirmed times and logistics multiple times, was readily available for questions, and was perfectly prompt. Eduardo and his team picked up and delivered our fridge at exactly the time quoted to us and provided regular ETA updates along the way. If you've got a small or big job, DEFINITELY use Dom's. I will be bookmarking for any future moving and/or hauling and telling everyone I know. read more

Eduardo and his team at Dom's moved my company's CEO from San Francisco to Miami. They did such a good job that my CEO recommended them to me. These guys were such a pleasure to work with. They were super chill, very nice guys, and boy do they work fast - all while taking the best care of your stuff. They moved me and my wife to Miami from LA! They accommodated our needs timing-wise, and got all our stuff packed, moved, and unloaded into our Miami storage unit all within 5 days!! Amazing!! They even properly disposed of the junk we left behind. I whole-heartedly recommend Dom's - feel free to DM me if you have any questions. A++++ transaction! These guys are superstars. read more

Eduardo and his buddy are nice hard-working individuals who are trying to get their business started. They arrived within 20 minutes of when they said they would and were speedy and willing to move us on Christmas Eve. They helped us move from Oakland to an area 3.5 hours away, and were polite, friendly, and courteous the entire time. However, we experienced four things that a more established business would not do: 1. Five days prior to the move day, I explicitly laid out the details of our arrangement with our needs and a price breakdown for move-in, move out, and delivery fees, which he confirmed. One of the explicit details of our arrangement was that they would arrive with a 15 foot truck. The morning of the move I got a call from Eduardo who said that their truck broke down and would not start. He recommended that we not move forward and I told him that we were not able to reschedule and that we should move forward with what we could. He arrived with a pick up truck towing a 10 foot trailer. I appreciated his commitment and dedication to finishing the job that he committed to, though I was nervous that the smaller truck and trailer would not be large enough but we had to move that day. He did have another truck in case we needed it. 2. We bought the two of them lunch right before getting on the road. It was during this time that we were able to get to know them a little better which is why I still believe that this business can be successful in the future though they have a lot of learning to do. After loading and getting on the road, my partner and I were following the truck because we were nervous about some of the winding roads ahead. Five minutes into the drive on the highway we see parts of our bed frame flying off from the top of the truck where it had been tied down because it did not fit inside the trailer. They pulled over and Eduardo said that he would pay for the full cost of the same make and model bedframe. 3. On the drive up I get a text from Eduardo asking to confirm a new price from the one that we had agreed to. My assumption is that he is trying to make sure that even with deducting the cost of the bedframe he and his buddy are still able to make a little bit of money from this job so I understand what he's trying to do. However I was trying to avoid this negotiation by clearly articulating the details at the beginning. But because their price was so much lower every other competitor the price increase Eduardo asked for was still reasonable and I think a result of inaccurate price quoting. 4. When we got to our final destination they were able to unload quickly. The following day we were taking a closer look at of our belongings and realize that a few of our things that we had hoped would be wrapped in blankets had scratches from the way they were packed. I would strongly recommend them for any job that does not contain valuables or require a larger truck. Despite the four things listed above I would still work with her Eduardo and his buddy given the right job. Merry Christmas and good luck with the move! read more

I used Dom's Moving & Hauling Service a few days ago and can I tell you how quickly they responded. They arrived after speaking to them within an hour and worked very quickly, efficiently, very polite and most of all they were very professional. They took very good care of my furniture packed it in the storage so neatly. They also offered to come back to dump the trash for me. This price was right for such great service! Absolutely do not use this service. We got ghosted two days in a row by these guys. We scheduled a move for Saturday, 10AM. The movers did not show up. They said they were renting a truck and the payment wouldn't go through. They had very poor communication. They then rescheduled for the next day and promised they would be there on time at 10AM Sunday. We had to go buy an air mattress for the night as we had no furniture. The next day 10:00 rolls around and they said they were running late. By 11:30 they still had not picked up their truck and they cancelled. Once again, we were left with no ability to move our furniture into our home. We now have to take the day off work tomorrow to meet a new set of movers we had to book last minute after this company didn't show for the 2nd day. This was the most unprofessional moving company, do not use them - they are terrible. read more

After researching different moving companies online, I came across Dom's. I needed to move a 3 bedroom condo from Northern California to a house in Las Vegas, Nevada. They were very responsive and provided a very reasonable quote in our initial conversation. They seemed trustworthy, easy going, straight forward and ensured no hidden fees. I ended up hiring them. They came on the day and time they said they were going to and delivered all of our belongings the very next day. They were very professional, quick and hard working. I would definitely use them again and would recommend them to anyone looking to move! Thanks again to the staff at Dom's for the excellent service! read more

Let me start by saying that my wife and I were at the verge of pulling all our hair out trying to find an honest reputable moving company for our move from California to Florida. After speaking to half a dozen large national moving companies and hearing that delivery windows were 30-40 days and that the price was a moving target based on weight and the number of rooms, not to mention the exorbitant and very unreasonable pricing most of them had, we decided to get creative and call around for a mom and pop type of moving company. Again, we struck out either because they did not do cross country moves, or the reviews were terrible, ranging from the truly horrible to the absolute miserable. And then, we got lucky, and found Eduardo Valdez. This very polite and professional young man immediately gave me three recent cross country move references. All three were extremely satisfied in all respects. We met with Eduardo and his colleague Raymond, at our storage facility. He took a look at what we were moving and he gave us a fair price, all inclusive, and firm. We signed a contract with him with the exact terms and on the moving day, he was there on the button. They loaded their 18 ft trailer perfectly with our things, we double locked the trailer for security, I paid a $3K deposit to handle his gas and expenses, and off he went. We used Find My Friend app on the iPhones and we all knew exactly where each was located. We drove too. He arrived at our new home exactly 2 hours after we did. Perfect timing. He unloaded perfectly. Nothing broken, nothing missing. We were so thrilled that I was compelled to even add a tip on top of the agreed upon price, and so thrilled that I will have Eduardo move my son from SF to San Diego. Same with other friends of ours who are moving to Montana. Here's my advice to you. Call no one else if you are in the Bay Area, CA. Call only Eduardo. You won't be sorry.
