This place was packed! I get it that it was a Sunday morning, however, the food and service did not warrant a 45 min wait. For all you out of towners just looking for a decent breakfast, keep driving or be prepared to wait 45 minutes. The food was definitely OKAY, but that's just it, I can get okay food at a chain restaurant in 15 minutes. I had a garden skillet w/ one blueberry pancake. The blueberries were whole blueberries just thrown into regular pancake batter so just eh. The syrup did not taste like blueberry syrup. I left half of the skillet as it didn't have much flavor. The veggies were cut really big and thrown in raw. It would've been nice if they had sautéed all the veggies first then added the eggs. I felt like I was eating big chunks of mushrooms right out of the container. The hometown potatoes were good. read more

I ate it too fast to get a picture. 5 plus stars! Irish Benedict incredible. 5 stars. Mexican skillet very good. 4+ stars. VERY BUSY for brunch on the weekends. We stood outside for about 20 minutes but it was totally worth the wait. Great friendly service. On the Irish Bene my wife substituted tomatoes for English Muffins and spinach for the hash browns. I actually really like this place. It's always super packed on the weekends! I have ordered to go and have gone in and ate there as well. The service is great and the people are super nice. I always order the breakfast quesadilla with extra salsa on the side. Make sure to get their salsa because it's amazing and homemade:) my bf always gets the breakfast burrito and this guy is picky but this place always makes his burrito correct! The food has always been hot when we sit in or do to go as well, so no complaints in that dept. I haven't tried lunch or anything like that but it's a good breakfast joint to stop by and try. read more

Came here with my husband. Super delicious breakfast burrito. Just hit the spot so perfectly. Friendly staff and cool atmosphere. Easy to find, just off the 101 in Windsor. Reasonable prices and generous portions. Place was medium-busy, we got a table right away but there were quite a few customers. For all that, the food didn't take overly long to come out. And we didn't feel rushed. Easy parking, nearby shopping and parks, just overall a really nice morning. :) read more

It was acceptable but unexceptional, there was definitely room for improvement in the flavor department, but it wasn't offensive by any means. We were staying in Windsor for the week and once again the power of Yelp steered us to a great place: Skillets! The atmosphere was friendly and clearly a favorite of the community. We had a breakfast that was like the best of home cooking. I had the California omelet that had the option of a side of fruit salad or home style potatoes and when I asked waitress how was the fruit salad she said it was very good and she was so right. This is in December and the melons and strawberries were excellent and the addition of the delicious sliced fresh banana was an indicator of the little things that Skillet does to help make for a great experience for their customers. My wife had the french toast and it was delicious! We now know whenever we are in Windsor we will definitely make a return to Skillets! read more

This is one of our favorite places to eat in Windsor and our all-time favorite breakfast place. They do serve lunch as well. The food is ALWAYS good! I had cinnamon French Toast with two eggs over easy and bacon. The eggs were a little undercooked for my taste but other than that, everything was perfect! Hubby had Eggs Benedict with bacon. He loved it. The service is always efficient and the place gets busy on Sundays! You can eat inside or outside on the patio. You can bring your dog and eat on the patio. Found this cafe near the hotel we were staying at. Location: Tons of parking in the parking lot for this strip mall. Plenty of parking in the morning when we stopped by on a weekend around 8am. Seating indoors and outdoors and it's a seat yourself kind of place. Staff: Staff greeted us upon arrival and was efficient at taking our order. Our waitress checked in on us occasionally but wasn't overbearing. She was also friendly. Food: I ordered the breakfast quesadilla with no tomatoes and hubs ordered a skillet. The eggs were cooked perfectly in both of our orders. They were fluffy and tasted good. The quesadilla was a new twist for me but I enjoyed it. Hubs liked his skillet. Best breakfast restaurant that I've had in awhile. Family of 5 and we all raved. Bacon...perfection, fresh toast, yummy, their green salsa served with their breakfast tacos...flavorful... and their potatoes, country and hash brown, couldn't have been done any better. Went here when we were in wine country. With the yelp reviews we were like we must try it. We had 6 people for which they only have one table. So it took over an hr to be seated. Then the food was ok. I had the veggie omelette which was ok heavy on onions. We tried the eggs Benedict which were coated in sauce. Overall a good place but not worth the wait. read more
