I bought 2 pair of sandals 2 days ago. I had to return/exchange 1 pair because the bottom is plastic. I've had 2 back surgeries so that's not an option. I wore the second pair for the first time. Ok the way to the store, I noticed a big stain on them. I tried to exchange them as well and was told that I had to have the box. No where in the store or on the receipt did it say a box was required. I was not going to drive home and back to get the box because it's almost 20 miles round trip. I'm stuck with a $55 pair of sandals that I might never wear because of the stain. The manager did try to wash the stain, but it's still there. I've been wearing Sketchers since they came out and never had a problem until now. I have returned shoes without the box in the past. If this is their policy, it needs to be posted everywhere! read more

The staff when I needed assistance was excellent. Especially because this is my first time going to the store, outlet. I did a course find the section for tennis shoes, but was disappointed in the fact that they don't carry a large selection of the wide foot designs. They had a special buy one at regular price and get 50% off the second pair which I think was a great idea, but limited to your choices if you have a wide foot. I did ask a clerk again. Would they have something possibly in the overstock and they said for the wide shoes what you see on the floor is what they have to take advantage of the deal I found myself getting a second pair of shoes just to take advantage of the sale, but the ones that I wanted in style they did not have but they checked the other stores and those other stores didn't have them either. That either tells me they're a popular shoe and the manufacturer should get instead of that. read more

Skechers management acknowledged our frustration and they are "sorry". Yet they did nothing to offer a solution. It makes us feel a lot better that they appreciate our feedback and "will take it into consideration". SMH. We're fairly certain that Becky can find suitable sneakers elsewhere in the future. This was the first time I had been in the Santee California store. It's was clean and lots of good prices shoes boots crocks Sandles. Was greated when I came in. Went there to buy my mom some new flats . She found a nice black pair. Staff was friendly, professional, and polite. The lady and gentlemen who were working. Was very helpful and took care of all my moms needs. 5 stars for clean store. 5 stars for selection of shoes and boots and product. 5 stars for professional and helpful and polite. 5 stars for all of its. I finally found a shoe I liked, wanted it in second color, but didn't see my size. Abruptly interrupted their convo asking if they had it in a different size. Both looked at each, one proceeds (male manager) to walk to back of store out of view, girl comes over and asks this one? Show her which one, says well I'll have to go see on computer. Comes back says they don't have it, ask if can they order it, yes, how can I get the BOGO deal then? You can't, that's only in store, And walks away. They clearly did not want to make a sale. Upon arrival at this sketchers location I noticed the front doors were completely wide open allowing hot summer air to enter your store.... the AC was not on it felt like an oven. Though I was nicely greeted by staff on entry I unfortunately had to leave this location upset, sweaty and without a new pair of shoes due to the store temperature... Both my girlfriend and I needed shoes so we went to Skechers Outlet in Santee, CA the other day. We were there for over an hour and NOBODY bothered to offer to help us find sizes and appropriate shoes. There were 3 women employees that seemed to find their personal conversation more important than doing their job. They were talking about their tattoos among other personal issues. I walked near them numerous times and not once did they offer to help. I told the guy at the register that I would have fired them all on the spot if I were the "undercover boss". When I arrived a shorter woman with long peppered gray hair, I assume the shift leader, said Welcome, but avoided me more than once by walking away not making eye contact. When I overheard her talking to other people, she had a passive tone and not very friendly. When my very sweet cashier named Amanda seen I needed some assistance, she helped me even though she was on register. Super helpful! Amanda was a great help for finding the shoes I was looking for! I am a first time customer to this particular store. I was in need of a thick sole work shoe and found them online and tried to place the order online to get the discount with my purchase but when checking out the discount would not apply. We called the store at a very busy time and got a helpful employee who tried to walk us through the process over the phone but it was way too many steps in the process! They held the shoe for me and when I went to pay I informed the cashier about my online dilemma and she couldn't help me, however the employee who was on the phone with me overheard me and identified herself as the one who was trying to assist us on the phone. She recalled my name from the phone call and kindly handled my purchase and got my new account steps handled in order to get the discount offered. The employees here are unhelpful. We asked for advice and described the shoes we were looking for, however, they had no time to assist us or make a sell. The guy with the ponytail and the older woman with the gray hair Instead followed my husband and I around as though they were security guards. I almost bought two pairs of shoes there, but for the service we received I turned around and left.. as we were leaving, my husband mentioned how he had overheard the employees making fun of the customers inside speaking about them as so, nobody else could hear. While this is a Sketchers Outlet, they do not have Outlet prices. I came in looking for new shoes for my son. The kids section was a little small but there was a decent variety of shoes. He was able to pick out a pair of light up shoes with no problem and actually found about 3 pairs he wanted. There is a very good selection of adult shoes, they even have a section for wide shoes, which I haven't seen elsewhere. My only gripe other than not having outlet prices would be the clearance section is small, smaller than the Viejas Outlet location and the store feels very tight. I contacted sketchers and they told me that I needed to send the shoes back to their warehouse for an evaluation they also said that I needed to get a double label from usps "to and from labels" no wonder they call their products Skechers because they're a sketchy company! " Beautiful, Clean, & Organized Store " I went to the Skechers Factory Outlet today in Santee and was Blown Away ! This store is the cleanest, and most organized store I have seen in a long time. It was breath taking to just stand there as you just come into the door, and see that the store is basically split in half. The Women's shoes on one side of the store, and Men's shoes evenly on the other side of the store. Their signage around the store is so perfect as you walk around looking at all of the different styles of shoes. Everything is in perfect order. They also have a great special deal where if you buy one pair of shoes at the regular Factory Outlet price, the second pair you buy you will save 50% on it. Great Deal ! Nice Place ! Kyle the Assistant Manager was AWESOME ! I brought my wife to see this store and she purchased 4 pairs of shoes. This is more to share my experience than to provide a review, except for the last part. I went in to buy a pair of boots for work. I found that the size 12 safety boots that I had purchased before were just a tad bit tight in the toes. The lady at the counter informed me that they make that boot in a wider version but there were none in stock. Fine, go ahead and order me a pair to be sent to my home address. Paid and left the store. When I got home, out of curiosity, I went to Amazon (which is where I had been purchasing my Skecher slip-ons recently) to search this boot model. I discovered that they were $23.00 cheaper and could be delivered the next day. My shipment from Skechers warehouse wasn't even out of their warehouse by the next day. They finally arrived a week later. I promptly returned them today. Note to Skechers management: I'm pretty sure you don't have to pay more for people with pleasant personalities to be in customer-facing positions. Try it sometime. read more

Well, I guess I should say "the shoe I bought", because the left shoe fits fine, but the sole of the right shoe kind of digs up into the left side of my heel when I walk.
