This is a huge shoe warehouse. It is very nicely organized, and the staff is helpful. They have occasional 'toofer' sales, with the second pair free, subject to whatever rules they apply. Everything in mens shoes from steel toe work boots to flip flops. If you can't find it here, it does not exist. read more

I bought 2 pair of sandals 2 days ago. I had to return/exchange 1 pair because the bottom is plastic. I've had 2 back surgeries so that's not an option. I wore the second pair for the first time. Ok the way to the store, I noticed a big stain on them. I tried to exchange them as well and was told that I had to have the box. No where in the store or on the receipt did it say a box was required. I was not going to drive home and back to get the box because it's almost 20 miles round trip. I'm stuck with a $55 pair of sandals that I might never wear because of the stain. The manager did try to wash the stain, but it's still there. I've been wearing Sketchers since they came out and never had a problem until now. I have returned shoes without the box in the past. If this is their policy, it needs to be posted everywhere! read more

I have bought shoes here on several occasions and have always been pleased with the selection and price. Their frequent bogo sales make it easy to afford all the shoes you want or need and the staff are helpful with finding what you want in your size. read more

Skechers management acknowledged our frustration and they are "sorry". Yet they did nothing to offer a solution. It makes us feel a lot better that they appreciate our feedback and "will take it into consideration". SMH. We're fairly certain that Becky can find suitable sneakers elsewhere in the future. A place where customer loyalty means something. Skechers response to my previous review: Skechers Business Manager Nov 6, 2024 We're sorry to hear about your recent experience at our Santee outlet. We understand how frustrating it can be when the size you need isn't available. We appreciate your feedback and will take it into consideration as we strive to improve our customer service. We're glad to hear that Becky likes her new sneakers and we hope to provide a more satisfying shopping experience in the future. read more

The staff when I needed assistance was excellent. Especially because this is my first time going to the store, outlet. I did a course find the section for tennis shoes, but was disappointed in the fact that they don't carry a large selection of the wide foot designs. They had a special buy one at regular price and get 50% off the second pair which I think was a great idea, but limited to your choices if you have a wide foot. I did ask a clerk again. Would they have something possibly in the overstock and they said for the wide shoes what you see on the floor is what they have to take advantage of the deal I found myself getting a second pair of shoes just to take advantage of the sale, but the ones that I wanted in style they did not have but they checked the other stores and those other stores didn't have them either. That either tells me they're a popular shoe and the manufacturer should get instead of that. read more

Angie and staff was awesome and very helpful and knowledgeable about the shoes and showed us around the store great service thank you

Skechers is a brand that snook up on my taste in shoes. Super comfy. Been wearing them for years now and realized they sell Croc type slip ons. Found "Foamies" on sale for $19.99. Crocs run up to $50. This is basically the equivalent to one and very comfortable to use around the house. Glad I found them here instead of buying a pair of $50 Crocs. read more

Employees were nice enough but they did not know what they were doing. Long story short, my boyfriend placed an online order for two pairs of shoes directly thru the sketchers website. He is currently out of state and used his card for the transaction. He called the store to add me as the designated pick up person. I arrived for pick up with my ID and order receipt. I left the store with both shoes and once I got to my car I realized that I needed a larger size for one pair only. I walked back in the store and explained I needed a larger size for one pair. This should just be a simple exchange. The girl behind the counter said oh we can't do that because of something about it being an online order and different pricing? So she said "Oh, I'll just cancel the order and redo it here and also so it'll be cheaper for you." Initially I said ok, because I assumed she looked at the order and saw it was an online order placed in Seattle. I then assumed they would charge the card used for the order. But no .. because she cancelled the order I would have to pay again which I didn't want to do. So why did we cancel the entire order when I just wanted to exchange the shoe ? It was not explained to me at all and they just assumed I wanted to do a new order. So I left the store with no shoes and a cancelled order. We even tried to place the order again online and had to call our bank because it wouldn't go thru. Our bank said it wasn't on their end it was the sketchers site not pushing it thru. So frustrating. I would say next time please ask and explain what you want to do for the solution for the customer because that was not what I wanted and I called another sketchers store in San Diego and they said yes they should have just done the exchange. read more

Store has ample supply of shoe options, only thing going for it. Biggest and #1 issue is the trash customer service. Was in the store for probably 20 minutes browsing, never a HELLO, Let me know if you need help finding anything? Kiss my a**, NOTHING, 2 employees just chatting away walking around the store, literally avoiding anything that resembled helping. I finally found a shoe I liked, wanted it in second color, but didn't see my size. Abruptly interrupted their convo asking if they had it in a different size. Both looked at each, one proceeds (male manager) to walk to back of store out of view, girl comes over and asks this one? Show her which one, says well I'll have to go see on computer. Comes back says they don't have it, ask if can they order it, yes, how can I get the BOGO deal then? You can't, that's only in store, And walks away. They clearly did not want to make a sale. So regardless of me liking the extremely overpriced geriatric slip on shoe, I proceeded to walk out because of the EXTREMELY HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE...do better Santee Skechers, train your employees to do their job. read more

This place needs new management BAD!! Disrespectful, short, and cold. Will not be coming back here again. The workers are helpful, though.

Upon arrival at this sketchers location I noticed the front doors were completely wide open allowing hot summer air to enter your store.... the AC was not on it felt like an oven. Though I was nicely greeted by staff on entry I unfortunately had to leave this location upset, sweaty and without a new pair of shoes due to the store temperature... I cannot believe you guys do not have the AC on and I cannot believe the workers have to work in these conditions!! read more

Both my girlfriend and I needed shoes so we went to Skechers Outlet in Santee, CA the other day. We were there for over an hour and NOBODY bothered to offer to help us find sizes and appropriate shoes. There were 3 women employees that seemed to find their personal conversation more important than doing their job. They were talking about their tattoos among other personal issues. I walked near them numerous times and not once did they offer to help. I told the guy at the register that I would have fired them all on the spot if I were the "undercover boss". So we left and I didn't and wouldn't purchase anything due to their unprofessional behavior. That store won't get any of my business ever again. read more

When I arrived a shorter woman with long peppered gray hair, I assume the shift leader, said Welcome, but avoided me more than once by walking away not making eye contact. When I overheard her talking to other people, she had a passive tone and not very friendly. When my very sweet cashier named Amanda seen I needed some assistance, she helped me even though she was on register. Super helpful! Amanda was a great help for finding the shoes I was looking for! They didn't have the exact pair I wanted, but she helped me find something similar and it worked out great! They have a large selection. read more

I am a first time customer to this particular store. I was in need of a thick sole work shoe and found them online and tried to place the order online to get the discount with my purchase but when checking out the discount would not apply. We called the store at a very busy time and got a helpful employee who tried to walk us through the process over the phone but it was way too many steps in the process! They held the shoe for me and when I went to pay I informed the cashier about my online dilemma and she couldn't help me, however the employee who was on the phone with me overheard me and identified herself as the one who was trying to assist us on the phone. She recalled my name from the phone call and kindly handled my purchase and got my new account steps handled in order to get the discount offered. I am so grateful for employees like Desiree Gonzalez! Desiree was very attentive and patient with my purchase and I really appreciate that!! God bless you real good Desiree read more

While this is a Sketchers Outlet, they do not have Outlet prices. I came in looking for new shoes for my son. The kids section was a little small but there was a decent variety of shoes. He was able to pick out a pair of light up shoes with no problem and actually found about 3 pairs he wanted. There is a very good selection of adult shoes, they even have a section for wide shoes, which I haven't seen elsewhere. My only gripe other than not having outlet prices would be the clearance section is small, smaller than the Viejas Outlet location and the store feels very tight. It is a large location but it feel very cramped inside. The employees were friendly and check out was quick. read more

The employees here are unhelpful. We asked for advice and described the shoes we were looking for, however, they had no time to assist us or make a sell. The guy with the ponytail and the older woman with the gray hair Instead followed my husband and I around as though they were security guards. I almost bought two pairs of shoes there, but for the service we received I turned around and left.. as we were leaving, my husband mentioned how he had overheard the employees making fun of the customers inside speaking about them as so, nobody else could hear. I went home and ordered the same shoes. I had seen at the store on Amazon and even got a better price. In a time when stores are not doing well customer service should be of importance to you manager of the store . Do not recommend this place if you wanna be followed around but not helped so strange .. so disrespectful of these employees. I will never purchase another pair of sketchers. I bought a pair of sketchers slip ins a month and a half ago the shoes started falling apart. I contacted sketchers and they told me that I needed to send the shoes back to their warehouse for an evaluation they also said that I needed to get a double label from usps "to and from labels" no wonder they call their products Skechers because they're a sketchy company! I paid over $80 for the shoes and was able to wear them for a month and a half! ridiculous! Worst company I've ever had to deal with!piss poor products, piss poor management! " Beautiful, Clean, & Organized Store " I went to the Skechers Factory Outlet today in Santee and was Blown Away ! This store is the cleanest, and most organized store I have seen in a long time. It was breath taking to just stand there as you just come into the door, and see that the store is basically split in half. The Women's shoes on one side of the store, and Men's shoes evenly on the other side of the store. Their signage around the store is so perfect as you walk around looking at all of the different styles of shoes. Everything is in perfect order. They also have a great special deal where if you buy one pair of shoes at the regular Factory Outlet price, the second pair you buy you will save 50% on it. Great Deal ! Nice Place ! Kyle the Assistant Manager was AWESOME ! I brought my wife to see this store and she purchased 4 pairs of shoes. Even though Kyle was the only employee in the store and there was several customers in the store Kyle hustled around the store helping my wife with her shoe requests. Oh and I purchased 2 pairs of shoes also. Great Place, check it out ! read more

This is more to share my experience than to provide a review, except for the last part. I went in to buy a pair of boots for work. I found that the size 12 safety boots that I had purchased before were just a tad bit tight in the toes. The lady at the counter informed me that they make that boot in a wider version but there were none in stock. Fine, go ahead and order me a pair to be sent to my home address. Paid and left the store. When I got home, out of curiosity, I went to Amazon (which is where I had been purchasing my Skecher slip-ons recently) to search this boot model. I discovered that they were $23.00 cheaper and could be delivered the next day. My shipment from Skechers warehouse wasn't even out of their warehouse by the next day. They finally arrived a week later. I promptly returned them today. Note to Skechers management: I'm pretty sure you don't have to pay more for people with pleasant personalities to be in customer-facing positions. Try it sometime. read more

I stopped in to see about some safety shoes I was not greeted, couldn't find my size after spending 10 minutes looking and actually had to go up to an employee and ask if they had any in my size and was told "No" and she didn't even offer to order them. I don't understand the negative reviews of this store. Maybe they went on opening day. We found the store to be clean, well stocked; the salespeople were friendly - we were greeted when we entered, asked if we needed help. There was music, but it was not loud and was not all "current" music; there were some classics too - like from the 70s. This is an outlet store, which is self-service. I didn't experience anything negative. read more
