The woman manning the store was super friendly and helpful. She shared that she actually makes the children's clothing sold in the store and was sitting there sewing before I walked in! The children's clothing had a ton of fun character patterns (mickey, star wars, etc.) They also had a fun selection of vintage inspired jewelry and sunglasses. I ended up purchasing a circle skirt dress for $55. It isn't lined but still appears to be if great quality. The styles were comparable to what you might find on modcloth, but about 20% cheaper. They always have an amazing selection for everyone. I have been here a couple times and I always find something I like. My daughter has been here a couple times in the past months. Of course I can't purchase all those pairs of pants but did leave with 3-4 hard to choose from. I do try and take advantage of the sales they have. Mike kindly greeted me and led me to exactly what I thought I was looking for, Cobian sandals. While Cobian's weren't at all it for me (too tight in the middle of the foot), as I browsed Mike perfectly balanced providing support/giving me product knowledge with allowing me time to try things on slash check things out. In other words, anytime I had questions, which I had quite a few, he was there, but not in a hovery way. He informed me of other products, but really only when it was appropriate. As soon I tried my first pair on, Mike let me know where to find the nearest mirror. I knew I was leaving the store with sandals today, and Mike made that experience a breeze-no hiccups, no funny business, just excellent customer service. Not gonna lie, I usually come here ONLY to look at the newest Hello Kitty or Harry Potter merch. Nerdy, I know. Recently, I came in looking for a Slytherin cardigan to wear to the midnight showing. At the time, they didn't have any in stock so 2 salesladies actually helped me order them online & have them sent straight to the store for pickup (which, they informed me, would be cheaper than having them shipped to my home). Even though the kiosks in the back of the store were glitchy & not working properly, they were still patient & friendly every step of the way & happy to assist me. One of them ended up just calling in my order, with the energy of Harry, Hermione & Ron on their mission to find & destroy all the Horcruxes. I have owned belts from Kore for the better part of 3 or 4 years now and have…read morenothing but excellent things to say about the quality of both their products and their customer service. I actually didn't know they were a local company until the past year or so and I think that's awesome! I got my first belt a few years ago with a buckle and wore it every single day. I really like how customizable their belts are, very easy to set up and they offer plenty of rigidity for those who carry. The only issue I've ever had with any of their products was a stripped screw I believe on my original buckle. I emailed them and would have completely understood if they couldn't replace it since I'd been wearing it for a while, but thought it didn't hurt to ask. Sure enough, they had a replacement buckle to me within a few days. I'm telling you, service doesn't get better than this! For those who are unfamiliar with Kore belts, you can purchase a buckle of which they have many different styles and then you order the belt separately or as a package. They are one size fits all and you cut it down to your waist size before mounting the buckle. I have a few different buckles at this point including a dressier one and they all look great and show very little signs of use or wear. What I love most about this is that you can save money and price together several different belts. For instance, you can purchase a new pattern belt, swap over the buckle and within a few minutes you essentially can have two different belt configurations. A solid two thumbs up for Kore Essentials!
