    It looks like the same friction damage caused when someone sleeps on a faux leather couch for extended periods of time.

    I've bought some items from this store on a few occasions. A few years ago, they used to sell leather jackets and on two separate occasions, I bought two of them "on sale" for around $160-200 in 2017-2018. Turns out, they are faux leather jackets, which I found out when the first jacket I purchased started peeling *profusely. I wasn't told this wasn't even partially real leather. I've never washed this jacket, it has never been left out in the elements, and it's lightly worn. In the 3 years I've owned it, I've worn it maybe 5 times in all. Despite the fact it appears as though it ripped, the jacket has never been ripped, torn, caught on a sharp objects, etc. Now, I figure, at that price, and had I paid more attention to the material, it being faux leather is fair enough. I went back simply to ask if the jacket can be fixed and how. However when I did, I was sent away from a clearly apathetic employee. He refused to give me the owner's number, so I left mine. They never called. I had to go back and when I did, he was already on the phone with the owner who tried everything to avoid the issue. He asked for the 3 year old receipt. I told him I could grab the bank statements which he initially accepted but later tried to reject. I asked him directly if I could have his number so I could show him the statements, he again refused. He also lied about the selling price of the item, saying they used to sell these items for $40-$60. I had to go to a different location in Mission Valley to finally find someone willing to help. Yesenia was awesome. She heard me out, got him on the phone, no questions asked, and helped me find a new jacket. To be fair: the issue was resolved when the owner essentially gave me a $60 credit towards a new peacoat. The suits are fine, some of the accessories are eccentric/tacky. However, the owner/first employee dodged the situation multiple times (if it's the number your employees use to reach you, it's your work phone number, bruh. Not personal phone.) The owner lied about the product (they don't sell leather jackets anymore, so, maybe that won't matter to whoever is reading this) and he lied about the price.

    I'm saving you the money and trouble go elsewhere unless you want your pants looking like this!!!

    First and last came here for a suite, sign outside says 129.99 for a shirt, pants and jacket then they'll tell you they only got that special in black and only one size left...for all the other colors and sizes they were trying to charge 250.00!! This place is a joke, so we got the suite but had to get the pants hemmed picked them up and it looked like my 10 year old niece hemmed them. This suite was for a wedding the following day, so I had called and complained and they offered me to go to some lady's house to get it redone, I ain't got time to do all that. Here's a photo of what the pants looked like.

    My fiancé and our bridal party get their suits from here. They offer you a deal but it's not worth it. They do not have good customer service they're are not enough people working and takes awhile for someone to assist you. Our bridal party got their suits from here and here was some of the mishaps. - one groomsmen got their suit a week before and was told they couldn't get the same price as the other and charged him $10 more even though he had the quote how much it was supposed to be. - when he received the pants after opening it at home the alteration at the pants was obvious, not straight and jagged. I could have done a better job. - the groomsmen went to get his suite and there was no jacket. - the groomsmen went to pick up the suit as told and it was not ready. - day of the wedding the groomsmen wore the pants and was fitted to the legs as of it skinny jeans. - not worth the "deal" they offer when they don't even give everyone the same deal when you are in the same party. The alterations are not done properly I do not recommend, save your money for quality.

    First of all, the service here was horrible. My bf and I came here to get a suit for our friend's wedding. I called ahead to see if they had any brown suits and the guy on the phone said that they did. We arrived to the store and the guy who helped us was high out his mind on this fine Halloween night. We walked in and he was on the phone with someone and wouldn't get off of his call for like another 3 minutes having a full blown conversation on speaker. Once he hung up we told him we called about the brown suit and showed us an option where you can special order but we told him that's too expensive and wouldn't come on time. And then we ended up going with a set that they already had in the store. My bf tried it on and decided we needed to make the waist bigger and hem the length on it more. He said no problem! Did his 2 markings on the waistband and the length where my bf wanted it hemmed. Charged us $20 for each alteration so that's $40 on top of the $280 suit!! We figured he was nice since he gave us a "discount" so didn't mind paying extra for the alterations. He made convo with my bf too so we thought he was chill, however he kept facetiming his buddies in the midst of helping us. Like put down your phone bro. So we ordered the suit for alterations on tuesday night and he said it would be ready saturday for pick up. Saturday rolls by, we go pick up and it was a different store employee who had no idea what we were talking about. She was pretty rude too, she would just stare at us when we entered the store like hellooo? good morning to you too!! Mind you we've been calling the store all morning but NO ONE would pick up so we could confirm the suit was ready for pick up. So she calls the alterations store and tells us they have not picked it up yet and for us to drive 5 mins away to get the suit. Like wow seriously? Making us do your job? We needed it asap so we did not mind picking it up. We arrive at the alterations store where the employee there told us she fixed the waistband ONLY since Men's District is responsible for doing the hem on the legs. We thought that was pretty weird. My bf tried it on and was happy about the waistband but he said the length seemed fine at the time but he usually doesn't pay attention to detail. Soooo lucky us, 3 days before the wedding I have him try on the whole suit again just to find out they still look pretty long on him. I tell him to turn around and lo and behold we find the "marking" that sir Lorenzo did....which was never hemmed. We paid that extra $20 for NOTHING. Don't go here...save your money for elsewhere.

    I drove over an hour in heavy traffic with a friend to shop for a wedding dress and was turned away…read morebefore even making it through the door. On Tuesday, March 3, I called at 3:27 PM while driving from the UTC area. I saw 3:30 PM and 4:30 PM appointments available, indicating they were fairly open that afternoon, but explained I wasn't comfortable entering my credit card information online because reviews mention a strict 15-minute late charge policy. I told the associate I would try my best to make the 4:30 PM slot, and that if other brides arrived before me they should take priority. I also said that if it looked like I could arrive within the 4:45 PM grace period, I would enter my information while driving. I was communicating proactively because that day a fiery fatal tractor-trailer crash shut down southbound I-805 near I-8 for roughly 12 hours, creating traffic chaos across San Diego. As traffic worsened on the 52 East, my ETA slipped to about 4:48 PM. At 4:25 PM, I called again to explain that I likely wouldn't arrive before 4:45 PM and wanted to avoid being charged the late fee. I asked what options were available. I was simply trying to communicate proactively and avoid being charged for something outside of my control. I was repeatedly told that because I was not already in their appointment system before 4:30 PM, they could not help me at all. I suggested several reasonable options: (1) marking me as arrived so I could finish driving safely, or (2) simply working with the situation, but every suggestion was rejected. They offered to apply the $50 late fee towards a dress, but couldn't answer what would happen if I didn't find my dress there. The conversation continued in circles. At that point I was about 10 minutes away and would have arrived at 4:48 PM, just three minutes past their grace period. Despite calling ahead, communicating honestly, and making every effort to come to their store, they refused to accommodate me. My friend had come with me to help look for a wedding dress, so the situation unfortunately wasted both of our time. We ended the call around 4:40 PM, and I turned around and drove home. Ironically, at 4:45 PM, the store called back with a workaround: if I made an appointment for the next day, they could simply mark me as "arrived" in their system and take me in immediately. This made it clear they had the capacity to help the entire time, but had chosen to rigidly enforce their process instead of welcoming business. When I pointed this out, I was told they have been in business for 40 years, which makes the lack of flexibility and basic customer consideration all the more surprising. Based on this experience, I'm glad I learned how this business operates before even walking through the door. It doesn't inspire confidence in how customers are treated once they've committed, and it's not the kind of experience that would make me feel comfortable trusting them with something as personal as a wedding dress.

    The staff if very friendly and very accommodating as far as setting up appointments for selecting…read moresuit rentals and getting measurements done and ensuring the entire party is accounted for accommodating for their schedules...that part was great. The follow through was the disappointment. Although everyone was measured a lot of the sizes were wrong when it came to trying on the suits. The shoes were the wrong color and had to be changed. A couple people asked for "skinny" pants because the casual fit is way too baggy which they said they would do but on the day of pick we were told they didnt have any available. The father of the quincenera who arranged this whole event asked for skinny pants from the very first day that we chose outfits which was well in advance and he still didnt get what he requested and ended up canceling his rental. I couldnt get skinny pants either but wasnt told until day of pick (as were others including my son). Somehow my white button up that i tried on didnt make its way into the garment bag and i ended up having to buy one from Old Navy. You would think they would have seen it hanging there and would have called me back. To top it off they ended up giving me size 13 shoes instead of 12! I went to the party in clown shoes. I think they just didnt have my size available and didnt say anything and just chose the next size up. Overall bad experience when it came down to actually getting out rentals. They over promise and you dont get what you hoped or asked for. Oh...and not only were the vests a different color than what was picked out for the "uncles" matching suits but they got ties instead of bow ties. And all I got from having to wear clown shoes and buy a button up was a simple sorry. Sorry doesnt cut it when trying to look your best and paying $200 for a suit rental. I should have pieced together a discount suit for the price that would fit better. Only reason I didnt was because the plan was to have everyone match.

    They gave us a little over a month to get my wedding dress tailored, and when we came to pick it up…read moreit wasn't even started on yet. Stitching work was messy, no fabric was actually cut, just *unevenly* folded over and sewed over the folds she made, which were very visible when the dress was worn. Zipper was somehow broken and the stitching that was holding it was coming undone. The dress also has a la Veneto bodice but it completely lost its shape. The dress did not complement my body at all anymore and somehow made a sleek dress look like a nightgown. Overall the stitching looked as if it was all made in a hurry, with no thought put into it. My dress has floating beadwork and I really want to stress the fact that they thought it was okay to fold over the fabric and sew over that, and call it a day. To my understanding, you're supposed to take out the old stitching, take the beads out by hand, cut/adjust the fabric, and then hand sew the beads back on. The seamstress did none of that. Not to mention she wanted us to come back another day, after delaying the pickup for 3 days already. She then said she would get it done that same afternoon so we could "go away already". It seems like they specialize more in quinceañeras, so I am not sure about the quality of work for those types of dresses, if that's what they specialize in then I hope other people have had a better experience than me. But I do not recommend this place specifically for wedding dress alterations, I had to pay way more to get my dress fixed.
