H&M engages in false advertisement and bad business practice. I saw a shirt on the H&M website wa on sale for $20.99 but it stated that it can only be purchased in the store. So of course I go to the store. The store's price is $24.99 but the price online is $20.99. I show the sales associate but I am told they can't honor the price that is available online because they don't price match ; same store and website. I talked to the manager and then to a customer service representative and was told the same thing, that they couldn't honor the price. This is idiotic and poor business practice. My issue is, if the website states it's only available to purchase at the store , it's implied that the price will be honored. It's false advertisement and makes no business sense. H&M supports false narratives. Stupid store. Nothing is on sale but online it is. Why the hell would I pay more when I can pay less. Their clothing fits weird. I only come for the children's clothing but even that now sucks. Unfortunately I'm stuck with a gift card. I'll wait until the next sale when their garbage matches their pricing. Today I came in and they had a sale sign and wouldn't honor it because it ended yesterday. It's 2 pm you should have removed it or otherwise honored it. I'm extremely disappointed with my experience at H&M today. They were running a 20% off promo online, but that discount did not apply in store. I noticed they offered a site-to-store pickup option where the promo would be honored, so I asked a store associate if they could just price match since I had already done my shopping and could technically just place the same order online and pick it up there. The employee I spoke to seemed uninterested in helping and got his supervisor, who told me they couldn't honor the price because their store didn't support site-to-store orders since they were a "smaller store" I'm sorry, but your associates are standing around on their phones, not even remotely interested in helping customers, the fitting rooms have clothes piled in there. Also not to mention, this is a dying mall where most of the other stores are already shut down. I don't think they really can afford to lose a $200+ transaction over an idiotic technicality, but okay. I told them I'd take my business to another H&M location or just place the order online, which he didn't seem to care. I ended up placing it online, and saved nearly $50. Judging by how empty the store was, they probably could've used the sale. Based on the phone call with Plaza Bonita store, I came here to picked up my shirt, but I was a bit skeptical with this store since I didn't have a good experience with them in the past. Anyway my instinct was right, they have the size but it was not the same style that I was looking for, I took a minute to look and told the employee, only to find out later the store doesn't carry it, well after visiting 3-4 stores in San Diego I realized I will never able to find the right item unless I order them online and have them shipped to the store, but yes they charge extra for shipping, so I won't save much either on a $6 shirt but will cost me $12 plus taxes after I placed the order online. So I would avoid any Essential No 7 shirt size Small, because I thought it was the same size as my regular fit style, now it might have to go down to X Small for this reason if I have no choice but to get one, so I did, Essential No 7 material is slightly thicker and bigger than regular fit, instead of buying 3, I settled with 1 for now. read more

This is a pretty good sized store. There are a lot of cute clothes , socks and hair accessories. It's all a good price too. You're not going to get any assistance from the staff here. So I went here to pick up some jewelry and clothing for my wife's birthday, and like most people do I was kinda aimlessly looking around trusting the cashier with bagging my items, and it wasn't until I got home around 7:45 p.m. that I looked in the bag and realized none of jewelry was bagged, so I tried calling and that's when I realized that you can not call the store directly, you can only call a help line that tells to go back to the store, mind it's 7:45 and store closes at 8 so I just took it as a lost. This H&M is pretty chill. Really clean, and the staff is always nice. If you know about the brand, they have different collections in each store. I personally shop the "divided grey" section which is mostly longer style clothes with mostly black, white, and grey tones. Being tall and tan, items from this collection usually go with anything I want to wear and don't come up short on my waist. It's in one of the only indoor malls around San Diego so the climate control is nice on hot or cold days. Pro tip: bring in 2-3 items of clothing you want to recycle in a bag, bring it to the counter, and they will give you a 15% off coupon on ANY purchase in exchange. I would give this location zero star if I could. Please be aware customers! They charged me $35 for item that I didn't even buy. Some crooks working here. The girl with dark straight hair at the register (will do a favor and not put her name) charged me for item that I didn't purchase and I only found it on my receipt once I got home. Had to waste my time to go back and get my money back. They checked cameras and of course they confirmed that I was correct. No apologies, nothing. Worst location ever. I never have an issue coming to this H&M, it's never too busy and the staff is pleasant. Due to the location they have more sizes and items available, unlike fashion valley (the next closest location). So today was such a bad experience here today and to top it off it was with the manager Cathy or Kathy not sure the spelling. So my daughter and I found a good handful of items I even wasted time trying shorts on.. I asked them to hold my items so I could run my daughter to the bathroom. Although it wasn't he manager who put them back the other clueless worker was nowhere to be found. What set me off was the fact that the manager was asked and this broad was rude and had no sense of customer service and basically could give a f*** less about what we were saying. I was in the store with my teenage daughter, yay! I saw a cute dress that had an advertised price of $17.99 just above said dress. When I got to the register, it rang at $39.99. When I told the cashier that the posted price was $17.99, he told me they get complaints like that ALL the time! When I asked the manager about the posted price she told me "that's for the dress on the OTHER SIDE!" I made a purchase yesterday and I thought I had 20% off ( online email) It turned out my 20% was on sale items! Bummer I usually bring a bag of donations to earn the 15% but I didn't this time! I actually never been there store but when my fraud Dept of my debit card contacted I learned about them that someone was trying to use my debit card in there store. But how I had the card on me??? I called customer service after they transferred me to the store after 20 minutes in hold talked to store manager . Waste of time. I order a jacket online for Black Friday and got delivered the wrong item. Called customer service and they advice I could take it to the store and they would honor what I paid for. When I took it to the store, the customer service rep wanted me to either do an even exchange for same credit. Unfortunately they did not have the same item. Rep said I could get something else but he would not honor the cost i paid . The item I bought cost $23 and the sweater they sent me, wrong item, was worth $20. So he only gave me $20 not my $23. I was pretty disappointed at the fact that I got cheated. How is H&M going to charge me $23 and then send the wrong item, and then only give me back what the "wrong item" was worth? Fucking ripoff!!!! Scammers!!! Do not buy online unless you want to be cheated out and robbed by this company. This girl that works there is skinny with brown/black hair down to her chest is such a bad worker!
