Windsor store was clean and all the employees were so sweet! I went in on a Saturday afternoon and it was pretty busy. There was a small line to get into a fitting room. I waited a total of 7mns to get into a fitting room. To me that's not bad of a wait considering they only had 3 fitting rooms. Because I'm rather petite, shopping can be pretty stressful and not the most enjoyable, however, Julianna made sure to make it stress-free and very pleasant! I went into Windsor two days before my Beyoncé concert looking for an outfit and came out with everything I needed. As soon as I walked in I was greeted by three lovely ladies asking if I needed any help. When I told them my situation, they pointed me over to a section they specifically made for outfits inspired by Beyoncé's tour, which I thought was really cool. Mallory and Jacey were both extremely helpful in giving me opinions on the things I tried on, finding other items that they thought would go well with pieces I already liked, and eventually making up 95% of my outfit that I wore to the concert. Baneen was the lovely lady who helped me check out and her customer service was just as amazing as Mallory and Jacey's. I walked in and was greeted quickly and then went and grabbed about 15 dresses to try on. Storm was amazing, attentive and helpful in every way possible. She even went and found me another dress on her own while i was trying the dresses I chose on and it happened to be on sale for $10! I bought that dress plus the dress I chose for my holiday party and she made me feel like I looked gorgeous in it when I tried it on. I purchased a damaged romper at Windsor Mission Valley, and I realized as soon as I went home and tried on the outfit. Today I went to the Windsor in El Cajon and the manager on duty accused me of wearing the outfit and lying about the strap because no employee of hers would sell a damaged item. I understand vouching for yourself and explaining that you wouldn't do something like that, however stating none of the employees at Windsor could've made a simple mistake is quite rude and unrealistic and then continuing on by making me feel if I was a thief and had purposely broken the strap and returned it. I had full intentions to keep the outfit I was hoping for an exchange at least . I don't appreciate being treated this way when clearly it was a small manufactures mistake. I went into the store with intentions to only exchange the item. However, with the customer service I received they treated me as if I was a criminal. I don't appreciate the way this was handled or how I was treated especially after being a customer of yours for the past 10 years! read more

Yesterday I walked into Windsor completely clueless as to what kind of dress I wanted for my prom, which was approximately 8 hours away, and I was immediately greeted by Emily. She was kind, relate-able and ridiculously helpful. She immediately started pulling dresses for me and altered her finds according to my opinion. She even went above and beyond giving her opinions on what looked best and what best suited the venue. But at this point multiple employees had also come over giving their helpful opinions. I love this place, and I used to work at a retailer in fashion valley for over 8 months before prom and after Christmas, but I've never seen what happened to me today. Have a wedding to attend to and lost some weight so I need a new dress, came in, no greeting which I don't mind, it's hoco season so it's kind of packed. Get an attendant who offers to save me a room while I shop. (Edit: forgot to mention I had already tried on dresses and then decide I don't like how they fit/too formal so it's not like i hadn't used the room and 20 minutes later still expected it to be held for me) Don't like the dresses, put them back and I'm dragging the boyfriend so I tell him to sit in the room while I grab more, same attendant comes up and asks if im done with the room I tell her no I need to pick different dresses as I browse the $10 rack and she says okay well this guest is already ready and proceeds to just place the other guests items in my room before my boyfriend even has time to grab his stuff and get out and the other customer had to hand us our personal items. Customer service is as simple as "sorry ma'am it's a busy night and this guest is ready to change right now, i apologize for the inconvenience and I can redirect you to the styles you might be looking for so we can get you ready for the next available fitting room". Lord knows I'd be apologizing to all heaven even asking a guests to vacate any fitting room unless it was for safety or theft related reasons. But to also barge in while there's still someone in there? My Bf told me to just go into the other obviously empty fitting rooms but at that point I didn't feel like spending another second in there no matter how bad I need a dress. read more

I been a customer of Windsor for many years but what I experienced yesterday was beyond poor customer service. I always come to Windsor as my choice for dresses and I just love their clothes. When i walked in it was pretty empty, went straight to the dresses as I was on my lunch break. There was a young lady there that didn't even bother to say hi or even bother to helped me when she saw me going in circles trying to find a dress for the Naval Holiday party. I waited and waited but she seem not to care. Finally the girl that was behind the register finally came by and asked if i needed helped which I did. She picked a couple of dresses for me but not what I was looking for. She then told the other young lady to helped, she picked up one dress and then left and never came back. I really like the store and I'm a frequent but some of the employees need attitude adjustments. One of the sales associates that helped me had a really good attitude and was super helpful. But the fitting room attendant and some other girl who was there who I think is named Megan were rude. They both acted like they did not want to be there. They both oozed do not approach me and don't even think ask me anything.Those 2 made me want to say screw the clothes and go somewhere else.
