I was shopping for a Bridesmaids dress and Ericka (apologies if I am spelling her name wrong) was truly SUCH AN AMAZING STYLIST. She is so friendly, so helpful, worked efficiently and fast during my appointment. She helped me SO much with color selection and giving me all the timelines of delivery with my specific size (since I am of course last minute) I am also engaged and when Im ready to start dress shopping I will be returning and asking for Ericka. All of the employees at this location were very sweet and kind, thank you!!! read more

Stopped by David's Bridal on a Saturday morning to pick up Becky's bridesmaid dress she ordered. We checked in and were ushered to a changing room so she could try it on. It was tailored perfectly to fit her and it is a very pretty dress. Certainly a dress that can be worn for nearly any fancy event. In and out in about 15 minutes. Outstanding customer service. read more

Loved the dress my daughter picked. I felt our stylist did nothing but rush us and was Absoulety no help. I had to help my daughter zip up her dresses. She was mia everytime she tried on the dress. Ultimately we got a dress but felt we weren't given the special moment that you should have taken the time to give a bride. Soemthing else was just more important than us at the time. The lady who rang us up was very nice. The dress is great and a great price. Also the whole ring the bell Ceremony is very tacky. That's done for hospital patents read more

I enjoyed my time trying on dresses and they were very welcoming. The store manager was SO nice and knowledgable. I wasn't super impressed with my sales associate and had a better time with other associates that came over from time to time to offer advice and help out. I also didn't love that I picked out a bunch of dresses online that they said to assuming they would connect to my sales associate somehow but had to show her all the serial numbers when we got there. I don't know if this is standard, or my associate didn't know how to do that. Overall, I had a good time, and the store was clean and organized. I didn't leave with a dress since I am still far out from my wedding and was more so browsing. I would go back but might request a different girl. read more

This team needs to get together and be on the same page because they have caused me more stress as a 2025 bride. First, without my knowledge I was sized incorrectly in January when I came in to pick out my dress. By April when my dress arrived it was a whole size too big. So I had to return my dress and then wait for a new one to arrive. Luckily for them I had the time because our wedding is in September. Then the week my new dress arrives they call me to pick it up twice. Even tho I had an appointment with alterations the following week. Why would I pick up my dress if I had an appointment for a fitting? Also then, Threatened me that my dress would be returned if I didn't come and pick it up soon. Completely unprofessional of this employee. Whose name I did ask and they refused to tell me so I couldn't put into my review. Other than that the dress I received was beautiful. But I wouldn't recommended this location to others because of what I experienced. The only helpful employees were Kissy and store manager Marlena. read more

Horrible service. Everyone is rude and doesn't know what there talking about. They speak how they want to everyone, the managers are a joke. Never walk in to this horror show read more

I had the most amazing experience and service with Ling N for dress alterations. She explained the alteration process and was so helpful on guiding me through the process and also teaching me a little bit about my dress and how it fits my body. She's literally one of the best people to help you with your dream dress journey, one of the best I have ever seen. I value her work and the effort she put into the appointment. Nothing can compete. She is amazing. I recommend working with her. She is very knowledgeable and she knows what she's doing. 10/10 I can't wait to go back to see my dream dress. Make sure you ask for her. When I walked in, everyone I encountered was welcoming and eager to help. Kissy made me feel completely at ease and took the time to listen to my concerns and what I was looking for. I'm quite particular, and she went above and beyond to find the dress that suited my body best. I will forever recommend David's Bridal. Thank you, Kissy, for helping me find my perfect dress! After visiting four other dress shops and not finding anything, I came here and, with Kissy's assistance, discovered more than four dresses I loved that fit me beautifully.. Beautiful dresses! Good service, I think the ladies who work here love weddings and seem super excited for the bride. The value for the money is good actually. The dresses are not even that expensive really. What's expensive is the alterations so I suggest if you need a dress, start looking early like months before you need it because there will be a dress that fits you perfectly but it might take a while to find. So I actually bought a dress that fit okay at first. Got it altered and then I found a dress that just fit perfectly!!! So I had to buy two dresses for my sisters wedding. If I had started looking earlier I could have not rushed to buy the dress and just got the perfect fitting one. Oh well, at least it was my color so maybe I can wear it somewhere else. Anyways, definitely recommend this place for dresses read more

Didn't know about this location in Santee which is located in a very busy shopping center, And very easy to get to off of mission gorge. I was able to park relatively close to the building, walk in and browse. While I had been to the one located in mission Valley this 1 was very elegant from the moment I walked in and the layout was welcoming. The dressing area is hidden and off to the back, which is unlike the 1 in mission Valley which is kind of out in the open. Honestly forgot even about the fitting rooms as I didn't see them while walking, until I was checking out a hallway that led to the dressing area. Once greeted staff was very friendly as they were organizing for the new requirements I'm guessing because of the bankruptcy. However she tried helping me look for a style of dress that I did not find on their website directly but through another website. This location has a backwall clearance which is well signed and easy to get to and rouse through the different sizes. Would highly recommend checking out this location as it is very clean, organized and stuff is very friendly and lets you browse without feeling pressured, but recommended to make an appointment if you're doing a bridal party. read more

My fiancé recently visited David's Bridal in Santee, and I couldn't be more pleased with her experience! From the moment she walked in, the staff made her feel welcome and at ease. The selection of dresses was fantastic, catering to a wide range of styles and budgets. Her consultant was incredibly knowledgeable and patient, helping her find the perfect gown that made me feel beautiful and confident. The fitting process was smooth! The team's professionalism and attention to detail were evident in every interaction. She also appreciated their helpful tips and honest feedback, which made her decision-making process so much easier. I went in to get a dress for my daughter upcoming wedding and I was ignored about my size. I advised the lady helping me my size, she kept bringing me smaller ones. To the point that after I was zipped up in one it would not come off. They had to literally cut me out of a dress as the zipper got stuck. Fast forwards I ordered a dress and on pick up day, I went to try on the dress and even though their was about 6 ladies in the front to help not one of them stoped their conversation to look up and assist me. I needed help zipping it up. The dress I was given was so wrinkled it looked it was stuffed in bottom of a box. When I said something about it, I was told that's just the way they come in 50 to a box. This whole experience did not leaving me wanting to go back. All they had to do was steam the dress and I would have considered going back for further purchase. read more

I could not give enough stars to this place. They saved my daughter's wedding day! The dresses my daughter picked out for her bridesmaids were super cute and the transaction was easy and the staff was wonderful. Unfortunately we had a bridesmaid drop out the day before the wedding which left me scrambling because her dress would not fit another person. I called the Santee location from Escondido with the stock number of the dress we needed, expecting to hit the road to go grab it for a friend who stepped into the bridesmaid roll last minute. Well after paying over the phone an awesome staff member let me know she lived in Escondido also and actually brought the dress to us. I was shocked and couldn't believe it. Nicole delivered the dress on her way home from work that day and we were able to make some last minute alterations at 10 pm in my friends living room. This is all thanks to the management and Nicole who went above and beyond for us that day and saved the wedding day for sure! Amazing staff at this location and if you are ever there please speak with Nicole who is the sweetest and kindest person and would love to help you on your special day!! read more

Overall, choosing a dress here was a pleasant experience. We were made to feel comfortable and were treated with respect and kindness. The 2 women who helped us were patient and helpful. There were many affordable dresses in the clearance section. However, we decided to look around and check out regularly priced selections as well. My niece tried on several dresses before narrowing down to and trying on her top 3 choices and ultimately making her final decision, which surprisingly, didn't take too long at all! I would definitely recommend this location as well as the women who work here. The perfect dress was chosen. Thank you so much, Nevaeh and Tracy. Your time, patience, and suggestions were all greatly appreciated! read more

Made an apportionment super easy, the women that helped me was awesome! She listened to what I was looking for, made some suggestions, helped in every way possible. Was very attentive to detail and was amazing! I knew what style I was looking for, but it can be very overwhelming with all the dresses. Try on a few and see what you like. Having too many opinions can be overwhelming. So go by yourself first, then bring your crew. I'm so pleased with my dress and the alterations they did. Andrea really made this day special for me. I've only been to a few weddings before, never been to a bridal fitting. I may not have showed it in the moment but this was a very emotional experience for me and I am so thankful Andrea was the one who showed such enthusiasm, kindness, and grace while I tried on my dresses. She took the time from the beginning to really understand and envision what I wanted and really helped me with my dress decision throughout the process. Throughout each try on she continuously asked me what I liked about each dress and just made me feel so comfortable and confident with each one. Thank you Andrea, this was a very beautiful experience for me and your genuine kindness made it 10x more memorable and personable. This picture speaks volumes. An absolute angel! I would give this store a zero star rating if that was possible. I had store credit from one year ago ($150), and the sales representative refused to accept it. I I Apparently David's Bridal filed for bankruptcy but refrained from giving notice. I am extremely disappointed with this company. Additionally, I purchased shoes online, and they got delivered to my house while I was out of town on vacation in a different state. I returned 9 days after my shoes were delivered and they will not accept my return because it of a 7-day return policy. Don't buy from David's Bridal. I will never shop here again. read more

Where do I start.... Had a bad experience in the mission store. They got my money and when I would call to make a payment. They would lose the dress or they make up a name , one of those names was J-LO , paid off the dress after 8 calls and the round around . I returned the dress. NOW THE GREAT PROS... came to la Mesa and wow they went the extra mile for my self and my fiancé . They Helped us out and gave us the best customer service I've ever received. The best ladies , Beth & haley helped us with all the dresses, the shoes , the belts. These ladies need a raise. They made the experience amazing . I can't say enough great things about my experience at David's Bridal. I was nervous about going and didn't know what to expect but they made the process incredibly easy and comfortable. Riley was the perfect stylist for me and very sweet. She had patience with all of my moms questions, she made sure I got everything I wanted, and treated me like a friend. Such an amazing store! I found a gown online that I wanted to try quickly prior to another appointment I had at another shop. I called to see if they had the gown and Alina answered the phone. She was so nice and helpful over the phone. They had the gown and I was able to drive right over to try it on. I walked in the store and was impressed! It was big, clean, and well organized. Alina was able to help me with the gown I was looking at online and listened to what I was wanting. She quickly went out while I was busy in the dressing room and pulled another gown for me to try quickly before I had to leave. And OMG!!! Such an amazing gown with layers of lace and sparkle from the beads and small pearls! And the shape of the gown with the support structure was something I had not tried on before (after trying on approximately 30 gowns). Unfortunately, I had to leave but Alina held the gown for me so I could come back after my appointment. I made it back and Alina was able to help me again. She was amazing and patient! Pulled multiple veils for me to try on in different lengths and with different sparkles and pearls. I finally found my gown and at a shocking great price! Thank you Alina! read more

First and foremost Mar, the manager, is an absolute angel!!! She is who helped me find everything I needed. She made me feel so comfortable and seen the moment we walked through the door. I loved how you don't need an appointment and can just come browse and check out the inventory. On top of that there was absolutely no rush nor were we pressured to make a decision. I was also highly surprised at how beautiful the dresses were along with the organization and flow of the store. It all just happened effortlessly. Also! My sister found her maid of honor dress there the same day! THANK YOU MAR! I adore you and appreciate your service more than you'll ever know. Many blessings to you and your team. read more

Would not recommend their alterations department. For context, dress was not made to order-I bought off the rack and didn't expect a miracle, but didn't expect so many blatant issues. I spoke to 3 separate seamstresses during the visits I had. The neckline ended up uneven and the rep on site that day blamed the fabric and my choice in how it was altered as the reason it wouldn't lie flat, not the fact that clearly the cut was uneven if one side laid fine and the other was lifting up. The biggest scam was paying extra for the package to ensure the dress was detailed and wedding day ready, only to see dirty spots, strings sticking out everywhere, fuzz balls all over, and pieces of dirt embedded in the lace. I had to ask them to clean it up more and it still had issues when I opened it up at home. I had to look it over with my mom at home and try to remove the obvious strings and we were shaking our heads that we had to do the work we literally paid them extra to do, and it still won't look as nice as I want it to because we don't have time to get it to someone else and don't want to risk the dress getting damaged days before the wedding with no time to fix. If you find a dress you like here, do yourself a favor and take your dress to be properly cleaned/detailed elsewhere. read more

This store is AMAZING. All of the staff from the greeter to the sales associates to the managers are wonderful. I originally went to the mission valley location first because it was closer to me. I called and was put on an endless hold. When I went in, I wasn't greeted at all. When I wanted to pay for a dress, I wasn't able to get help (and the woman was rude about me being a walk in as if I was some peasant she didn't have time to assist). At Grossmont: Gza was able to assist me super last minute and was so friendly and helpful. She helped me try on some more options and I was able to order my dress and get in and out very quickly! Marlana, the manager, was apologetic for my horrible service at Mission Valley and was very accommodating. I would recommend this David's Bridal to anyone. It's a very nice store and it is nice to try dresses on IN YOUR ACTUAL SIZE. Other higher end stores don't offer that and their dresses are NOT any higher quality, just more expensive. read more

I came to David's Bridal near Grossmont Center hoping it would be an improvement over my recent Mission Valley store experience when despite having an appointment - I left without any service after 30 mins. It certainly was better at Grossmont! As soon as I entered the store, with my sister, we were warmly greeted ... and they wanted to help us. I felt cared for the entire time I was trying on dresses & pantsuits; it was far better service than what I received at the Mission Valley store. I needed 2 outfits: a dress and a pant suit. Unfortunately, they didn't have the pantsuit in my size. I did find the perfect dress, though! Julia called the Mission Valley store to see if they had the size I needed. She was on hold for quite a long time. So she attempted to call again, and was connected and then disconnected. According to their online inventory, they had 1 in my size. So I happily paid for the dress and then reluctantly drove to the Mission Valley store. There was no warm greeting. I found the pantsuit style I was looking for but none were the size I needed. My sister took one sample up to the counter to inquire, and I noticed one was hanging behind the lady. It turned out to be the correct size, and the lady took me to a room so I could try it on. I noticed some minor damage, but tried it on anyway ... and the fit was perfect! I went to the counter to purchase and waited. It was more than 5 minutes before anyone acknowledged us, and after another few minutes I decided to leave. I got in my car, called the Grossmont store and placed my order. They deserved my business far more than Mission Valley and their horrid customer service. I highly recommend the Grossmont David's Bridal. Friendly and helpful staff. read more
