I came here for a few things, fixing the length of the sleeve of a suit jacket I have, reinforcing the hem on my trousers and a leather jacket cleaning. I've received my coat suit jacket and trousers I've yet to try them on although I very much should to review it. I don't get my leather jacket for another week, due to the leather cleaning process being located outside of San Diego. The staff are very nice, it took a while to get seen I was there just under an hour and I'm not sure how the prices compare to other places or what is standard nowadays as I haven't gone to the dry cleaner or gotten anything tailored in over 10 years, but it seems decently fair. I have used them several times and find my items coming back either nor cleaned or damaged. Recent experience. Dropped off a white wool coat. They used steam and actually damaged the wool leaving it rough and didn't get the stains out but still charged me full price. How is it acceptable to charge a customer full price, damage the item and not complete a service. Wow. Use at own risk. I had this happen before and thought I would try again. Big regret. read more

Literally the worst - would not recommend to anyone. This place made me wait for 30 minutes for the alterations woman to finish up with zero A/C in the building it must have been over 90 degrees in the room. While I'm waiting 2 other people come in behind me and start waiting as well. When they are FINALLY ready to take someone else, she proceeds to take the woman that came in AFTER me. After I had been waiting for 30 minutes. If there was some kind of appointment system already in place that should be clearly stated at the beginning. Had I known I'd be waiting for over an hour I would have left right away. Waste of time and terrible service. Will not be back. read more

Update on wool comforter service: I got a call back from the owner Charlene saying they want to make it right. Amazing place. I'm from South Bay and didn't realize this place would be so far from me. But I needed some alterations so by the time I got there I thought I would give them a try. They let me know that my pants could be shortened, but they noticed the pants I was wearing didn't seem to be altered correctly. The very kind lady told me that when they shorten the pants, it's a good idea to bring in the cuff a bit because otherwise it's too wide. That makes perfect sense because I'm short and it's difficult to buy clothes in my length, and when they've been altered, the end of the pants always seem to be so big. Long story short they did a great job. My pants looked terrific and yes they are far from me, but I go there for all my alterations, and dry cleaning. They are amazing. Really care about what their work. Also, they will tell me how many days it will take to do the alterations. But I am serious when I say it has never taken them as long as they say, a couple of times even the very next day they would be finished. I'm so happy I found them. read more

Highly recommend Style Cleaners! The team was very friendly, communicative and payed special attention to my concerns and detail. My daughter found a vintage Gunne Sax Jessica Mcclintok dress at a vintage clothing market, that we bought for her to wear to her Winter Banquet. The dress was made of very delicate material along with a delicate tulle under layer. Since the dress was vintage and had been worn before, it had a few minor imperfections along with a few stains here & there. Upon taking it in, Style Cleaners were very thorough-examining the dress, making note of any imperfections etc. They said it would be ready the following day by 5pm! When I arrived the next day to pick it up, the ladies who helped me the day before were there and explained that the fabric was so delicate and sensitive that the initial dry cleaning process seemed to pull more stains/imperfections to the surface of the dress. They wanted me to see it in person and reassure me they would handle it. They then assured me that doing a wet rinse wash would take care of the problem and that it would be no additional cost, just needed to hang on to the dress for a few more days. I trusted the process and went back three days later to a beautiful, shiny, cleaned, steamed perfect dress for my daughter! Thank you Style Cleaners for be communicative and honest with your process!
