I ordered a dress for my prom from THEIR website that delivers directly to THEIR store from THEIR system. This should be completely reliable. However, when my dress was delivered I came to pick it up and they tried to tell me it was out of stock after I already paid for it and i got a notification that it was delivered. They did not help me at all. They said they sent an email a couple of days before it was "delivered" saying it was out of stock. There was NO email. This was absolutely ridiculous and now I have no dress for prom. If you need a dress I don't recommend you waste your time here. read more

Now I understand that these are on high demand for most women when shopping for dresses, but there are the few girls out there that want elegance with affordable prices. I have been formal dress shopping for my sisters formal school events for several months now. We were at our 7th store in San Diego when we finally started feeling hopeless. I mean, it's San Diego and there are more places to shop but we had been to the top of the top places in San Diego. At this point I thought we were going to take a ride up to L.A, when I stumbled upon this place right around the corner. Before my sister and I came down my dad said he had driven by at was drawn away from here because of how small it looked from the outside. When my sister and I came in we were greeted by Amy. Her aura was that of a genuinely nice person that wanted to help us. It wasn't the fake, "Give me your money or leave" that we typically got from other places. Which was a huge stress reliever since I have pretty bad social anxiety. She let us have time to ourselves but constantly reminded us that she was here to help. My sister was at aw and so was I. Yes they did have the typical sexy dresses but they also had dresses similar to those Iv'e seen celebrities wear on the red carpet and the typical prices of most dress are anywhere from $150-$400. Most that we chose fell into $250. All these dresses were so unique that I didn't even want to post about this place because my sister and I didn't want anyone else to enjoy the dresses. They even had nude high heel shoes to borrow to have to better picture wearing the dress. -Parking is pretty good. Its a little tight because it's small but were plenty available when we came. -Customer service is excellent. Walk ins are great but I would highly recommend requesting for Amy. She was brutally honest in which dresses best suited my sister and she didn't force us to buy a dress by saying, "You should buy the dress by the end of the day or your dream dress will be gone." like most other places do. She said, and I quote, "Come 5 more times, 7, doesn't matter, whatever makes you comfortable!" -Prices are unreal! My dad even asked what the catch was for these dresses being so affordable . Definitely recommend. As a parent myself, I can say I like the non-hootchy mama dress options. read more

This place has everything you need! Amazing customer service, beautiful dresses and customization! I've used TDR twice for bridesmaids dresses, one for my sisters and another for my own. The quality and price point is unlike other boutiques out there. As for trying on and looking for dresses, Amy was very patient with us and made sure we left happy each time. She sealed the deal both times, measuring each bridesmaid individually and custom ordering our dresses. Some of their lines had dresses with the choice of custom colors we could choose from a provided palette. Also, there were certain brands exclusive to TDR that made shopping all the more exciting! Such an awesome experience. We drove out from LA and it was definitely worth the drive . I'm gunna be a bridesmaid for my sisters wedding and because it was over a two hour drive, my sister didn't want the whole bridal party to come to the store until we knew we loved something.. To be honest, I didn't want to leave a review. But my wedding is 11 days away and wanted to share what I'm going through right now. I live about 3 hours away and I thought it'll be worth the drive to get my bridesmaids dresses from here. They have BEAUTIFUL dresses! But it definitely wasn't worth the stress. I have 8 bridesmaids and 1 maid of honor (my sister) My sister measured her hips at a 37 which is a large in "Australian sizes" according to their website. And they told me they would order one size up for every girl, since Australian sizes run small, so my maid of honor dress was supposed to come in an XL. It came in a small. My sister lives out of state and was coming a month before the wedding, so I KNEW a small wouldn't fit. I was told by the store that they "don't make any mistakes." I had my sister remeasured and she even lost an inch around the hip. So there was definitely a mistake made. I was told nothing can be done. Out of everyone, Amy was the only one willing to help. She was nice enough to compensate me a small amount ($90) for the tailor, which was a 250 dollar job on top of the $274 we already paid per dress. I had two other bridesmaids whose dresses were small as well and every bridesmaid had to take it in to do more than just shorten it. When I initially received the dresses, I had no idea which dress belonged to whom, and they pretty much left me to figure it out because the designer didn't tell them which dress was made for what size. I kept calling the store for help, and Amy helped me figure it out. When the dresses were ready to be picked up, I got a call and the lady said "your dresses are in, but you're not going to like the color" although they weren't identical, the color was pretty close but I spent 2 days beyond stressed until I was able to make the trip down there. They shouldn't have said something like that. It was overall a very stressful experience with multiple tailors telling me nothing can be done and many more hundreds of dollars out of my budget were spent. My sister has to wear a dress that doesn't fit her well and be uncomfortable the whole day. If I were to do this again, I wouldn't get the dresses from here. read more

This place is a hidden gem. My wife and I went driving all around San Diego trying to find her a dress to wear for a wedding. We went to Macy's JCPenney Nordstrom and failed to find anything within our budget. Everything close to our budget was ripped and looked tacky.
