I seldom leave reviews but I had to leave a review for Tracy Racheter! She was friendly, professional but most of all patient! I had a return that was past the refund date but still in time for exchange and she was amazing even though I was a hot mess! Her patience and customer service was stellar and the entire time she had a smile on her face! Happy customer! read more

Based off my experience with my stylist, Kinzie, I had a great experience and even found the one! Kinzie was very helpful and patient with me as I decided through the dresses. She even suggested a dress I had liked a lot and did not push the purchase of that dress so I appreciated it and the fact that she didn't pressure me at all was comforting, in addition to dealing with family & bridal party, thank you thank you KINZIE! You are a great stylist. PS CALL to book your appointments, the website allows double booking for some reason, so my appointment time was pushed 30 minutes back due to another fitting appointment scheduled at the same time as my appointment. Kinzie was apologetic and checked in with me and my MOH a couple times the first time we visited the store, to assure us she would be with us soon. Thanks for the communication Kinzie. read more

Horrible experience with the alterations. I went in a 2ND time to DB to try on dresses and brought the initial dress i purchased  to try it on again in the store. I decided to stick with it and decided to do alterations w/ DB. the seamstress came out and quoted $200 explaining the hem and having to restitch the lace. 1st appt 2/22, I felt like the seamstress pressured me to get the bustle. Given that its DB, I figured I was in good hands. When it came to paying, it came out to be $500, double from what she initially quotes before the appt. I didnt want to argue at the time and figured inflation and that I was in good hands so I just accepted it and paid. All she said was "prices were increased recently". I figured if I was going to pay this much, the quality is going to be worth it. I came back 3/24 and noticed the side of my bust was not stitched back. I was told they had to finish it still and thought that was weird. They offered to show me the bustle and the seamstress struggled to find the loops and buttons that they added. I was standing in my dress for a long time while she tried to figure it out and I started to grow frustrated bc if she was struggling, the person that did it, the chance of someone else doing it at the wedding might struggle too. I took off the dress and had a better look at it and  noticed the stitching from the hem felt rushed and half effort bc the stitching wasn't consistent and some of it wasn't even sewn on. I looked at the bustle, it didn't look cohesive, it had 2 pieces of lace that didn't match added to the dress and the thread used for the loops was darker in color and it stood out a lot. I explained it nicely a few times and then got frustrated because the main seamstress told me that its not "random" and why they had to do it that way. I told her I understood her reasoning but the overall look didn't match and this process wasn't explained to me. I even told her initially I didn't know what a bustle is and how it worked and she didn't explain that random material was going to be added to the train. I figured if thats the case they would make it match and be consistent. She looked annoyed with me and kept saying she doesn't get what I'm saying, shaking her head, and saying why they did it that way. I was frustrated bc there was 0 empathy and instead of saying sorry, ill try to understand,  ill see what I can do, she was adamant and said I was in the wrong and thats the way a bustle is. The store manager (the saving grace of the situation) looked over the dress with me and even agreed that it wasn't a good job and offered a solution.  I saw that the seamstress was making a face as if im wrong and being ridiculous which didn't help. She never said sorry for messing up my dress. She never consulted me of how they were going to do the bustle. I had to ask to her to give some space while I talked to thr manager instead of standing there making me feel worse. The manager asked if I will allow them to try to repair it and offered to switch the bustle method using tulle instead of the random lace that they used and this will also give time to reach out to the district to see how they can compensate for the inconvenience. I came back 4/4,  It looked better, but the manager mentioned that they couldn't use tulle bc there was a hole in the train where the og seamstress stitched the random lace. Ive looked over my dress plenty of times and even examined it the day I dropped it off initially and there weren't any holes in the train. Which makes me think the  random placing and rushed stitching was to hide it. Even with this and the inconvenience and frustration caused at the 2/22 appt, the manager mentioned that corporate couldn't compensate anything since this was labor that was paid for.  I understand that but the quality of the labor and the inconvenience caused i figured there would be some type of compensation. I paid for an alteration, not to be inconvenienced and treated horribly for the seamstress. I understand a culture barrier, being a minority myself and growing up with a different culture, I always take culture into consideration on communication. And the treatment wasn't a culture barrier. Im really upset and disappointed that this was my experience with DB. read more

Ordered prom shoes for my sister in store a few weeks ago because we wanted a new not tried on pair, like was available in store at the time. Received a call that the shoes were delivered and ready to be picked up at the store. My sister went in store to pick up the shoes and they tried to give her the old display shoes that she had originally tried on. When the clerks were questioned about the shoes not being new, they miraculously found the pair we had ordered. Will not be returning. read more

I love this location! I went to a David's Bridal in Murrieta where I thought I found my dress. However after a LONG day trying dresses at multiple stores, I just settled for a dress that was flattering that I didn't love. Long story short, I had the worst buyer's remorse when I returned home to San Diego. The next day, I called this David's Bridal and explained my situation. The girl I spoke to was beyond accommodating and I scheduled an appointment with a stylist the next day. When I went in I had a list of dresses that I wanted to take a look at. My stylist was wonderful and based on my selections, pulled some additional styles she thought I would like. I ended up choosing one of her selections and mind you, I LOVE this dress!!! The girls here have been super helpful and friendly! I definitely recommend them! read more

I've been to this David's Bridal for different reasons and every time I've gone in there the ladies have been so sweet and friendly. Each one has their own personality. The first time I worked with amy (I hope I got her name right) To help me look for my bridesmaid dresses and was so helpful in giving us styles that complemented all of them. Her manager at the time of her shift was so sweet (I wish I remembered her name, but she's short) and made me feel like a blushing bride. She was so incredible and my A type personality mixed with hers gelled. The next time I went in to find my wedding dress, Emma assisted me and she was so sweet and made me feel so relatable. She was so kind to help me stay within budget. Look at different styles if I made a joking comment she ran with it and got me into things I never imagined. She set me up for success letting me know that it was going to be busy but we were going to have fun. I appreciated her honesty. All these ladies are in the right industry for a reason. They make you feel like you are special and living the wedding of your dreams. I'm sure they can say this over and over to bride's all day, but trust me ladies it's working. Even if you aren't going to buy a dress there. Trying some on for the experience alone is worth it. read more

Ask for Layla for an amazing time at your appointment! I went to the store today for my very first look at wedding dresses. I didn't have an appointment, but a stylist was quickly available to help me out. My stylist was Layla, and she was incredible! Of course, I had looked at dresses online before coming in, but I had no idea what styles I would actually like on my body. Layla and I walked around and grabbed a nice variety of dresses. She asked me what I liked and disliked about every dress I tried on, and she helped me narrow down the options, so I left with a much better idea of what I was looking for in a dress. Even though I let her know from the beginning that I wasn't planning on buying a dress today, she was still incredibly enthusiastic, helpful, and fun. She didn't rush or pressure me. I can be a bit picky, and I was worried that that would be annoying to a stylist, but she was empathetic. Layla clearly understands how significant the dress is to the bride and how important the "wow this is the one" feeling is. I felt really comfortable with her and wish that she could help me with all of my wedding stuff! I wish there was a larger selection of dresses/sizes in store, but I like that I can pick a dress online and have it shipped to the store. I will definitely be coming back for a second (and maybe final!) look thanks to Layla. read more

I had THE best experience. First time ever to set up a wedding dress fitting. Marlana was the Manager and Shannon was the one to help me with everything. They provide a corset, heels and many choices to try on. Shannon was kind, respectful and listened to everything I wanted. Marlana has an amazing talent and great eye for wedding gowns. She suggested few dresses that I would never try out on my own and they were the most beautiful gowns! I can't thank them enough for helping me and taking that extra stress off. read more

When it came time for me to look for a dress for my mom, I knew David's Bridal would be a great start. When my mom and I arrived for her appointment to look for her Mother of the Bride dress, we were greeted by super friendly staff who were wearing super cute masks. We got handed gloves and we're on our way to look for my mom's dress with Caterina whom was a total sweetheart and listened to what my mom wanted in a dress, as well as what I wanted my mom in. Updating: another review. Eleanor was the magical seamstress behind our alterations & she is amazing. Went to get our bridemaids dresses altered a few weeks ago and picked them up today. Eleanor made the dresses fit us PERFECTLY. I admit, I'm a flat chested girl with not very much curve, but after alterations the dress fit gorgeously. I can't wait till after the wedding to post pictures. I don't want to give too much away. Thank you so much Eleanor and the whole team who were working today. read more

From the moment I walked in I felt welcomed! I was immediately greeted by a staff member who guided me to one of the David Bridal Experts -HALEY- :0) Whom I must say was super nice, & extremely patient. Haley asked me a few questions about my special occasion, what style of dresses I may be interested in and measured me. Then she was off to gather a few dresses :0) I must say I was a bit nervous because I am so use to going through the racks myself. But totally understand due to Covid this is the new way....kinda of easier in my opinion :0) Haley worked her magic and brought me exactly what we had talked about and more. I loved that she was willing to help me feel comfortable and made a few suggestions which were GREAT! The staff was also super nice and I noticed the manager was on site greeting customers and helping out. I am big on customer service and this store gets 5 stars from me! I got insanely discouraged about finding a dress that I would like and feel good in at the altar. Marlana and Stacy came to the rescue. Marlana asked me to blindly try on the dresses she picked out because they looked different on me. I left having found a dress I loved but would never have thought to try on. Both were delightful, and helped my sister find her maid of honor's dress. We will be returning when my mother is ready to get hers, no doubt. They calmed and reassured me, and somehow figured out what I wanted, when tbh I didn't know what I wanted lmao. I cannot recommend this place enough! David's Bridal - New wedding dress ft. Belt - Bridal Near Me - Santee, California

As a bride affected by the COVID-19 outbreak, David's Bridal was a rock through the process. My wedding was scheduled for 4/11/20 (before being postponed by coronavirus closures) and my dress was at David's Bridal for alterations when the statewide closures were declared. My dress was purchased from David's Bridal Ontario, and my experience at both Ontario and La Mesa was consistently great. Urszula was so lovely to work with. We had a great conversation about our cats while she carefully pinned my dress, and it fit perfectly afterwards. When picking up, David's Bridal was a few days away from temporarily shutting down for COVID-19, and I was able to do curbside pickup for my dress. The team member that helped me with my pickup was impressively responsible with cleanliness and distancing, all with zero compromise on friendliness and customer service. I am looking forward to returning to this David's Bridal for alterations when my wedding is back on! read more

I've been to this location twice because my wedding was postponed due to COVID and the dress I picked out over a year ago no longer fits me well. The manager, Marlana and was so kind and helpful. She even gave me a discount for having to buy a second dress Farrah helped me with most of my visit. she made me feel very comfortable and helped me find a new dress very quickly! I am just as satisfied with this visit as I was last year when I initially picked out a dress. I guess it was sort of a blessing in disguise that my old dress no longer fits because the new one is so much more appropriate for our venue and expected weather. I definitely recommend checking here to find your dress! All of the staff who halve helped me were so kind and attentive to my feelings, and that's definitely more than I can say for other wedding dress shops! read more

Aya was amazing! I came to David's Bridal early this month in search of a maid of honor dress. It was actually an emergency because the dress I was supposed to wear no longer fit me. I needed to find a dress ASAP because the wedding was less than a month away. Aya quickly asked me what styles I liked and what color I was looking for. She showed me what dresses would arrive on time before the event. That way I had an idea of what to look for. I tried on several dresses until I found the perfect one. Aya was very patient with me! She was very helpful and knowledgeable. She answered all the questions I had and was able to order my dress. Aya gave me the exact date the dress would arrive and offered the alteration services provided by David's Bridal. It was a great experience! Thank you Aya! read more

I had the best experience visiting David's Bridal this month. Me and my closest family members tried 3 bridal stores and started at David's Bridal. Our consultant Janna made the appointment very special. She was kind, helpful and really listened to what I wanted in a dress, while being able to please my party as well. I found the most beautiful and unique dress on the sale rack and knew it was mine. The Manager of the store also interacted with me and my party, getting know us by name. It was the overall best customer service I've had in a very long time. To the bride on the fence about visiting David's Bridal, you can find a one of a kind dress at a big chain store. Ask for Janna if you make it to the Grossmont location, you won't regret it! read more

First off, let me say that I love Marlana, she is sooo welcoming and makes sure you are well taken care of. Maddie and Jaina both helped me pick out my wedding dress and helped my bridesmaids pick their dresses as well. I felt very welcomed and special every time I walked in for my appointments. I had a vision of what I wanted my dress and my bridesmaids dresses to look like when I came in, Maddie and Jaina helped me pick out dresses that were similar and took their time with me each appointment. They both are very knowledgeable about the dresses and the fits of each dress. The only con I have is that I requested a certain stylist by name each appointment (which I was told that I could do) and each time I got there I had to go with somebody else as the person I requested was not available. My last appointment, I was placed with Christina who was not as helpful as Maddie and Jaina, which was slightly disappointing as half of my bridesmaids did not get the same fun experience that the half got with Jaina. Christina was nice, but she wasn't as welcoming and did not seem very knowledgeable of the dresses. She sized one of my bridesmaids very small, which I thought was a little weird! Next time I make an appointment, I will be sure to request the stylist with Marlana in hopes that I will actually get that person! If it wasn't for this, I would definitely give 5 stars! Thank you David's bridal, I can't wait to go forward with our dress alterations! read more

My wedding experience has been surreal so far, thanks to COVID. All of the things I was looking forward to the most have been dashed, though I completely understand. Looking for a wedding dress for my wedding in 2021 (if things go well) was a bit far from my mind when more pandemic issues are at hand. But my mom thought it would be a good distraction to and uplift all of our spirits by just looking at gowns and thinking about everything. I made an appointment for the store and we were greeted by Jaina. Jaina also happened to be our consultant for the day and she was unbelievably nice. She was amazing and catered to me, my mother, and my maid of honor. Jaina made sure that we were comfortable and adhering to the current protocol. She got all of the dresses I wanted and made me feel special in each and every one. Turns out I ended up purchasing my dress. Jaina was helpful and super sweet, and even got teary-eyed as I found my dress. All the consultants were very sweet, but all my stars go to Jaina! read more

Went here on a spur of the moment trying/looking at dresses for the bride, and bridesmaids. Very accommodating, we did not have an appointment but they were able to fit us in. As we waited for the brides appointment we shopped around, looking for different styles, and trying on some bridesmaid dresses. While everyone there was very kind, and helpful, Noelle really took the cake. She dealt with us in a professional yet fun manner. We will surely be back for a 'proper' appointment with all the bridesmaids, and when we do we know just who to ask for! Thanks Noelle! read more

If you are not looking like an American Model, you get treated a little different when you come into the store. Today, we picked up my daughter-in-law dress and I guess since it was already paid, we didn't get much service. We saw the $19.99 rack in the middle of the store and tried a couple dresses, we really liked them specially with the price. Well, when ready to pay the dresses were clearance but not the amount on the rack. What a surprise, I had the lady do a price check on another five dresses and 3 were Not on sale either. The girl who was at the register was supposedly a Supervisor and was Not accommodating at all AND did not rush to take down the $19.99 price on the rack. I guess it was a trick to make you spend a lot more money! read more

My sons fiancé and I went in without an appointment. Scout greeted us and showed us to the rack to look for dresses we could try on without an attendant. Said she would be around if we needed help. We wanted a dress we could buy on the spot and found one within the rack she showed us. And another employee, Fiona I think, helped her pick a headband and veil. Beautiful dress, veil and headband. Before I start this review, I need to throw it out there that I am currently 6 months pregnant and a heavy set female. Going in, I had a specific style in mind, but because I am plus size I knew I might not be able to find anything that'll fit so I went in not expecting to find the dress for me. My stylist Caterina was the best! She exceeded all my expectations and my met my every need. I booked an appointment and was honestly thinking they would probably kick me out after an hour but let me say I spent close to 3 hours in that store and Caterina was by my side every step of the way. The staff truly makes you feel important, and I know it's not easy to find dresses for a plus size woman, but Caterina did not give up hope, she squeezed me into dresses that I didn't even know I could fit into! She was so nice, patient, and she helped in and out of every dress I tried on. She truly is the best and deserves a raise! GIVE CATERINA A RAISE!!! If Covid was not currently running the world, I totally would have invited her to my wedding. I felt as if she was my maid of honor and I have known her my whole life. She really went above and beyond for me and I truly appreciate her for that! Also, her manager Marlana helped me find the perfect dress for me. She too was also very patient, kind and so attentive to the details I wanted my dream dress to have. Thank you both so much! read more

SO MANY DRESSES. I remember going to this location over 10 years ago for a friend's wedding, and there weren't all that many choices (or sizes). Now, there are tons of different designers, styles, and sizes for everyone. That's really important! i LOVE my dress, and I'll update this review once it comes in and I get alterations done. What made the difference? One word: Bernadette! She paid attention to how I was reacting to each dress, and not how the moms/bridesmaids/sisters were reacting, then she shared the subtle differences in my reactions. This ultimately helped me make the decision and say "yes to the dress!" She was also not pushy or "saleperson-y". I could tell that she just wanted me to love the one I would end up picking. She also didn't get all cheesy about things, which I really appreciated. We did the "ring the bell" tradition, but it didn't feel as dumb or dorky as I thought it would be after watching some of the other brides that day. If you are a "no fuss" kind of bride that would appreciate one less opinionated woman in your corner for dress shopping, Bernadette is for you. She's awesome. read more

When I walked in I initially felt unwelcome because nobody greeted me, nobody asked if I needed help but a woman and her daughter was greeted and helped as soon as they walked in. We walked in at the same time btw. I get it, maybe a casual black chick with a huge natural Afro is intimidating? I'm used to it, so I kept browsing. My best friend is an actor/comedian and having a huge wedding in Texas this summer and I wanted a beautiful gown to wear for the occasion. I decided to go find help and I came across Cami. Nice and helpful young lady. She helped me try on 4 or so dresses until my husband showed up to help me. I found the perfect dress, she explained the ordering AND alteration process and I paid for the beautiful gown in advance. I almost walked out initially but she was so helpful that I decided to stay. End result was way better than expected. I am so excited to wear my gown to celebrate my bestie and his bride. read more
