As the mother and father of the bride, she helped us to "really" enjoy the rehearsal and the wedding day because she was in charge of all directions and communications. The Bahia requires that you designate a coordinator for the day, but you are free to either provide your own or work with one of their select coordinators (in which case the additional cost is folded into the contract). We opted for one of their coordinators, and are very happy that we ended up working with Jamie. She first met us the night before the wedding at our informal rehearsal, where she displayed incredible patience as we rehearsed our entrance skit over and over and over again, running significantly later than she was supposed to be there. The next day, she immediately became a solver of crises, discoverer of oversights, decorator of the reception venue, orchestrator of wedding party members, and - as if that wasn't already enough - learned to operate the sound console for the audio. When we found ourselves without a towel and needing to dry our hands, she instantly offered her sleeve. In short, every issue that came up while Jamie was present (from well before the guests arrived until we started dinner at the reception) was resolved seemingly magically, and every detail that could have slipped through the cracks didn't. Through it all she was also a warm, encouraging, and supportive presence, and even though we had just met, it almost felt like she was a member of the wedding party. Truly can't say enough great things about Jamie!

This would not have been possible without Tara of Divine by Design. We informed Tara of our September 2019 wedding back in December 2018 (9 months). She expressed initiative and communicated with us throughout the process both behind‐the-scenes and "on stage". Tara is a Day-Of-Event Coordinator, but for us, she was much more than that: Tara was a mediator who smoothed out any rough patches along the way (vendor contact, logistics, decorations). She was also a counselor during the moments when we were starting to lose our sh*t! Most importantly, she was a planner who held our hands since day one and coordinated every minute of our wedding day - starting early in the morning with decorating the church all the way to the last dance at the end of the night - And when guests were heading out the unintended exit of the venue, Tara relocated the guest gift boxes to the popular exit area. If Tara wasn't our coordinator, our experience would have been a much different story. If you're looking for a Day-of-Event coordinator, do your self a favor and hire Divine by Design.

Not being from San Diego ourselves, Ryan was extremely helpful in finding the best vendors for us within our price range. It ended up being a two year process due to the wait time for the venue we chose, but that never fazed Ryan. Ryan's spreadsheets and payment reminders were also incredibly helpful to staying organized and on top of everything. Ryan has an in-depth knowledge of the wedding industry and provided us with a multitude of creative ideas while still keeping our vision in mind. While we had a general idea of what we wanted, Ryan really helped fine tune it and turn our dream into reality. It ended up being even more spectacular than we could have ever imagined! Ryan thought of all the little details to pull the whole event together into a gorgeous, tropical paradise. On the wedding day, all we had to do was enjoy! Ryan took care of everything from coordinating with other vendors to arranging seats and decor. She scheduled our wedding day so we could have fun without feeling rushed -- we actually had time to eat and enjoy cocktail hour with our guests!
