I had the displeasure of speaking to Allison on the phone this morning and there is no way she should ever be managing a store with her bad attitude! I called regarding a boot that I already have; on windsorstore.com, it's called the "Slay" boot. I have black and was requesting the natural color. I called another store before parkway and the girl who answered didn't know what shoe I was referring to, so she got online to find it. They ended up not having my size so I call parkway. I asked Allison if they carried the Slay boot and she may have misunderstood what I was asking so she asked me to repeat it. I asked her if she wanted the style number instead and she said no, just the name. Then she proceeds to tell me she doesn't know what the show looks like but she knows they don't have it. That had to be the most idiotic response I've ever gotten from a so-called manager. I asked to speak to someone else and Allison said why. I told her because she wasn't being helpful. She then giggled and said I just told you w don't have it. Then I said in the same sentence you also said you don't even know what the shoe looks like. (Mind you, the girl at the previous store I called was unaware, so in my mind I'm thinking if she looks up the photo, she can give me a for sure answer.) Moving on, she hangs up in my face once I'm asking her for her name. I called back and asked her her name again, and asked her is that the way she thinks she's supposed to treat a customer. She then said I'm not a customer because I'm not in the store in front of her. At this point, this is becoming the most idiotic conversation I've ever had with a "manager." Allison clearly needs some training. I don't appreciate her attitude, nor will I ever be shopping there. read more

Terrible customer service! After spending $100+ I was accused of stealing from one of the girls and after trying to show her my bank receipt and how much money i spent there, they would not take off the censor after one of their "silly" girls left it on there. I spent a lot of money there. I deserve a little respect. Too much of a hassle shopping there! I can return a dress there with no receipt but If i want them to take off the hidden censor without a paper receipt (but an electronic one) "You just can't do it." That makes no sense and you should think about the way you do business and who you hire. I will NOT be shopping there again. Spend that much money and get treated that way? NO THANK YOU! read more

I'd like to say that I especially enjoyed Allison's upbeat and warm welcome today as I entered her store.. I'm not in her store very often but every time I am she makes me feel like I could be in there everyday lol. She's always greeting me with her beautiful smile and remembers my name and is great at helping me gather the clothing I need or am looking for, else ideally since I'm always in a hurry. The bridesmaid dress for a wedding I'm in is from Windsor, so I stopped by to try to find my size and purchase. Storm was incredibly helpful, friendly and attentive! The formal dresses are pretty tightly packed so it can be a struggle trying to find different sizes, especially if the same dress is in different parts of the store. But she made shopping there painless. Thank you Storm! I would recommend Windsor for anyone looking for budget friendly formal dresses. read more

I was in a rush to get a dress as my original plans fell through. I looked up the nearest Windsor and went to this location. I just moved to San diego and was so impressed with the cleanliness of the store/mall. Walked in and was greeted by Joanna. She helped me pick out many dresses based on my tastes and style preference. Joanna was kind enough to give heels to try on with the dresses. She was very receptive to what I was looking for and was very friendly. She is a great employee who knows her stuff, professional, and bubbly. Thank you for your help! Layla is the best! I went in looking for a gown for an upcoming military ball. I was previously at a different Windsor, and had had the dress I needed put on hold for me to try on. After a day of trying on dresses and searching for them in my size, I finally made it to Windsor (at this location) and met Layla at the dressing room. She promptly grabbed the dress I had placed on hold, and exchanged sizes for me for other dresses extremely quickly. I went to the register to attempt to place the dress I selected on hold, since I could not purchase it until I showed it to my boyfriend to ensure it was appropriate for the occasion. The dresses are also not able to be returned, so I could not have just bought it and returned it if it didn't work out. However, my boyfriend was on duty (meaning I could not communicate with him for the remainder or that day, nor the next day.) I tried to explain my situation to the individual working the register, but she told me I could only place my item on hold for one hour (despite me making it clear that I would not be able to communicate with him until sometime the next day.) I ran into Layla again and shared this with her, and informed her that the other individual did not seem interested in hearing my situation. Layla then went and found a way to place the item on hold for me until the next day so that I was able to come by again with my boyfriend. I really appreciated her understanding, and that she genuinely listened to my situation. Thank you Layla, you are the best! Definitely deserves a raise- the 5 stars are for Layla's customer service specifically, not just Windsor. read more

My daughter and I went to the El Cajon Windsor looking for a prom dress last week. We had an amazing customer service experience with the sales associate Britain. My daughter had no idea what she wanted so she just tried on a dress to get an idea of a style. Britain set up the dressing room for my daughter. She passed by a few minutes later with about 6 different options for my daughter to try. We didn't ask, she just did it knowing that we were a bit lost in what we were looking for. She then went above and beyond to try to find a dress at another store or other options available online. She was absolutely great and I would come back to this store just because of her. read more

95% of the time I come here I always find what I'm looking for. If I'm going out down town or on a date, I'll stop by here lookin a mess the day of, and get a complete outfit; jewelry, shoes, the whole thing. I love their style, very dressy, sexy, flashy and fun. I found a dress online but needed it ASAP. I called the El Cajon location & luckily it was available in store so was placed on hold for me to pick up before the end of the day. I got there and the dress was a rust orange but online looked like a deep red, totally off. But I shopped around the store hoping to find something better and all the girls there were very attentive and willing to help. I tried on a few dresses and found two! One of the dresses had the wrong price marked on it and MATTY honored it. I think she was training another associate, how great she's teaching awesome customer service. Unfortunately I have to leave one star or else I would leave none. Ive never felt the need to leave a review but with how rude the girls are that work there I feel it completely necessary. So for one when actually shopping in the store we were waiting in a very long line to try on clothes and my friend was sitting on the one stool they have. The little blonde girl that works there actually had the nerve to tell her to move. There was another girl that worked there that every time we'd walk around she'd magically bump into us, no apology nothing. We also at one point asked her to get a dress down for us but someone called her on a radio so she said she was "too busy", I'm sorry what. Now I've worked in retail, I understand how frustrating it can be but come on there is absolutely no reason to be so disrespectful. For two, I came in today to return the dress I bought. Tried it on at home & realized I'm just not broad enough for said dress. I had everything. The tag, receipt, dress still smelled like the store. Blonde girl says I can get store credit since tag is not attached. Now like I said before, I've worked retail. We all have a little gun that magically puts the tag back on, takes 2 seconds, no big deal. The manager comes around saying I should know how it is since I've worked retail. No, I do not "know how it is". If someone brought me back and unused product with everything in need to return it you bet your sweet bottom I would take it back especially if it was literally the next day, your job is to please the customer. I don't think I've ever shopped at a store that doesn't do that. Bottom line, it's never been anything but a problem to shop at Windsor, so I will not be going back & I will be making a public announcement on social media about how horrid of a place this is. The type of "women" that work here are self entitled & an embarrassment. read more
