I want to share a great experience I had at the Finish Line store at Parkway Plaza. A few weeks ago, on the day of the Jordan 11 Mojave launch, I came in looking for a size 14. The employee who assisted me was extremely informative, kind, and genuinely helpful throughout the process. After speaking with her for a bit, I learned that she was actually the store manager, Miranda Troncoso. It was refreshing and impressive to see a manager leading from the front and working alongside her team. That level of hands-on leadership really stood out to me. I truly appreciated the way she handled customer interactions, especially knowing how challenging it can be to work with the public--I work in wireless as a district manager, so I understand firsthand. Finish Line has a great leader at this location, and it definitely shows in the customer experience. read more

I picked up a pair of shoes on the sales rack, which clearly said $50 in large print. Originally $75. They rang me up at $90. When I told her there was a sticker on it, she only offered to do a refund instead of checking for the sticker. They took forever finding the shoe, now I'm starting to think it was a stalling tactic to make me forget the sale price. Kinda disgusted. read more

Bought a pair of shoes here tonight. On sale and less expensive than any of the other stores we looked at (even on line). Anna and the other male sales associate were really friendly and helpful. When I went to the store they didn't ask for help they continue working at the main desk. Terrible service they laugh at your face when asking questions. I brought 2 same shoes with different price asking why one was on 180 and the other 130. They told me store policy to try 1 shoe acting like I was going to steal. I will never go thr and recommend you not to go !!!! Terrible 2 guys 1 older and young guy with glasses. If you both are not happy with your jobs then look for another one. They have the worst customer service , no one greets you when you walk in , and they don't even bother to check up on you if you need help . i went up to the front desk to ask if they had a shoe size and all the guy did was stare at me and grab the shoe from me . didn't even ask me what size or i'll check for you . he just waited there for like 6 mins and then after went to the back . he never came back . i just left the store , they make you wait a lot and don't even acknowledge you . would be nice if they said we will be right with you . read more

Call the store before heading down there. I went on Saturday to pick up a reservation on the date and time that was assigned to me. No one was there. After calling the plaza Bonita location I was told parkway would be closed for the day. No one called me or emailed me to tell me not to come. I get a call on Monday (today) to come pick up the shoes (so they had my number and could have told me not to come on Saturday). They offered nothing to make up for their mistake. read more

My husband and I came in very late close to your closing time and we felt bad about running late and getting there when the store was going to be closing. I ordered him the new Nike Giannis Immortality on line as a gift and was sent the wrong color. Those 3 employees made it a fun and relaxed transaction for my husband finding a whole different type of shoe because they were out of the ones he was supposed to get. They were all professional..they made us both feel like they would do anything to help us find what he wanted. It ended up being a blast laughing with them and all of them helping us look at other choices. My husband ended up wanted a entirely different shoe by Puma that Isaiah helped him find and he fell in love with them instantly. He bought me a matching pair as well which was a nice supprise!! All of the employees here are really nice. But Angie's customer service was exceptional. She wasn't pushy and had nothing but positive vibes, which was really refreshing after having to deal with all the annoying solicitors at this mall. I found a few pairs of shoes that I liked and Angie brought out extra styles for me to try. She was prompt and apologized for the shoes that were unavailable in my size. She was honest and told me which ones looked better on me. She ended up picking out a pair for me that I really liked and even complimented that I made a "great choice" by deciding to buy them. Over weight Hispanic dude was clearly a manager, super lazy inattentive rude acted like I was bothering him and didn't want to help me. Went in looking for basketball shoes for my daughter for around $100. Found a pair that had two on the wall labeled $99(on both). Asked for her size, which they found. Went through the process of trying on a different pair as well as the $99 pair. She really liked the $99 pair. Went to check out and I get with a straight face "That'll be $189". Excuse me, then they proceed to tell me that "oh look, somebody must have put the wrong sku on these" Really, you only sell shoes, you had one job. Are they all mislabeled to get you to check out, who knows. Yes we bought the pair of shoes for $189 because we both really liked them and they wouldn't drop the price. Came in and just started glancing at shoes I liked after about 5 minutes I was greeted which is fairly nice of them to wait since there was barely anyone in the store. Nobody likes an annoying or rushed visit Of course it is a mall so they keep and eye on you. When I asked for shoes they brought me a pair every time so the service was good . After having to deal with 3 different people on the customer service line, I finally got into a store. Lucas, at Finish Line in Parkway Plaza, was awesome. He was patient and attentive and sympathetic after hearing all the bs I went through. He handled everything, even he had to speak to 2 different people on the customer service line before getting a resolution. If not for him, I'd probably never shop with the company again. Finish line is the only place I get my shoes from... The reason being is Isiah. He is probably the BEST Finish line employee, every time I go to Finish line (which is very frequently) he makes sure I leave happy and I do always. He doesn't hesitate at all to help me get the shoes I want. He always helps me order them online and he even goes through the trouble to transfer them from another stores even if store isn't in California. Not only is Isiah so helpful he is also very friendly and he always has a smile on his face. It is not easy working retail but Isiah makes it seem effortless with his patience towards customers and his positive attitude. I recently found out he will no longer continue to work with finish line and I'm very sad to see him go... Finish line will never be the same without you. If I could give a negative review for this store I would. I won the raffle to purchase a pair of Jordan Space Jam 11s. When I originally signed up for the raffle they told me the raffle will take place from 10am to 12pm and if I didn't claim them by that time they will be sold. The following day I received a phone call to say that I won and again they told me to pick up the shoes between 10am and 12pm or they will be sold. On the day of the release I showed up to the store at 11am to purchase my pair of Space Jams that I had won only to find out that they have been sold already. When I asked why they sold them, the store manager said the raffle was from 8am to 10pm. The store said they couldn't do anything even though it was their fault for giving me false information about the raffle. The store employees I spoke to are incompetent and need to be on the same page with the information they give to their customers. read more

After 10 years of buying all my shoes at finish line, I am sad to say that after my experience here today I will NEVER go to another Finish Line. I ordered 2 pairs of shoes online, neither one of them fit so I decided to return them here (rather then going through the long process of sending them back). I walked in and went straight to the counter, after waiting for about 8 minutes a guy finally came over. I explained I needed a refund, first he just gave me a dirty look then proceeded to tell me if I wantedyo "browse" while he did whatver he was doing. So me being the polite person I am, I said ok, assuming he would help me with my refund in a few minutes. I ended up finding a pair of shoes and some socks. I asked for my size, and after the other guy trying to sell me this and that, i was finally rude and just walked away. I take my thingsto the counter...waited...waited...waited and then finally got helped. I said you can just take the amount of my refund, and put the rest on my card. No big deal right? WRONG! After he went through all the dramtics, and me having to correct him on the amount twice, I'm ready to check out. He said you have 4.15 left and then once agin tries to sell me laces, shoe cleaner, blah blah blah...and after once agaon having to finally be rude and say "no, just put my money back on my card" this idiot had the nerve to say "its only 4 dollars" WHAT? I almost lost it. Sooooo he then says swipe your card for MY 4.15$ to be put back on my card. Guess what? 10 minutes later, I look.on my phone to check that it was there. Suprise, suprise its not! Shame on him,and finish line as a whole. I will.not be returning ever again. FYI my refund should have been 9.07 not 4.15 jackass. read more
