What we saw upon arrival.
Jessica A.

We stopped by Sizzler today for lunch, arriving right as they opened--11 a.m. on the dot. I had my eyes on the salad bar, my mother was craving a steak, and her friend joined me in enjoying all the fresh options from the bar. There's definitely an upside to being one of the first people in: everything was fresh, crisp, and untouched. The restaurant was clean, quiet, and calm--a nice way to start the day, (or in our case end it since it was the stop before nap time). The salad bar was almost perfect... though I did miss seeing the broccoli salad that's usually front and center. Still, I enjoyed everything I tried. The mini tacos are really good in the salad bar along side the nachos I made myself. Now for the downside--when my mother placed her order, the woman taking it (Marisol) seemed a bit impatient. My mom was just trying to decide how she wanted her steak cooked when Marisol snapped, "It's either medium well or well done--that's all we do!" It felt unnecessarily rude, especially considering both of my lunch companions are in their 70s and 80s and just needed an extra moment. Thankfully, my mom didn't really catch the exchange, too busy making her way to the table. When the steak came out, it was well done--overcooked for her taste--so she ended up sending it back. Aside from that hiccup, the meal was fine overall. The salad bar saved the day, but the customer service could use a little warmth and patience. Will we be back? Sure, Sizzler will always hold a special place in my heart as it was my very first job as a teen back in 1993/94 and I always do really enjoy the salad bar and all its offerings.

Good food. Love the salad bar and side bars. It's a little pricy right now but had to come anyway.

Exterior.. figured we'd share a pic since we forgot to take pictures of our food. ‍

On our way in traffic and found a spot we hadn't been to in a very long time. Our old location was closed many years ago and we hadn't been since. So the dining room was clean, but a bit dated. Salad bar looked scrumptious and the pasta and taco bar did as well. The menu has since changed since we last ate here, but my bf opted for a burger and i for the salad bar and we can say it did not disappoint. Definitely was worth our money. The service.. I have to say Julia was phenomenal! Very attentive, friendly and just all around pleasant. Was great seeing that so many people knew her by name. That says a lot. Either she's very helpful or they just go there a lot. Doesn't matter, she made our time very pleasant. Will we be back, it's a drive away from our area, but if we're back in the area and wanted a bite, I think we may, Thank you for your excellent customer service Julia!

Came for a girls lunch date earlier to this weekend and this spot did not disappoint!…read more THE SERVICE: 5/5 - Quick, friendly, accommodating, and our waiter made a real effort to engage in conversation with us. The FOOD: 4.5/5 | Drinks: 5/5 Off the appetizers, we had the pork belly bites and dirty fries! First dish came with a long hot pepper, several mini tortillas, and 2 dipping sauces. The pork was crunchy on the outside and soft+succulent on the inside. I can see myself doubling up on this appetizer the next time I come. Dirty fries were great; it came with a generous amount of pickled onions - providing a really nice contrast to the savoriness of our meal. Our waiter graciously accommodated our request to have the egg on the side. Off the entrée/taco menu, my friend ordered the Korean tacos and I got the Ensenada (fish) tacos. But you can also order the Ensenada tacos with shrimp. These were delicious, I would have loved a little more lime crema to go with the fish - but not a big deal. I got a Watermelon Margarita. I wasn't expecting it to be HUGE, but it was the perfect amount considering how much food we as a pair ordered. My friend ordered the La Toxica table side cocktail and one additional mango cocktail. Table side cocktail was a whole show and my friend really enjoyed it. We had a great lunch at Tempo Cantina. I can't wait to try more of their bar menu, maybe even at night when the restaurant is lively

Enjoyed a delicious Easter brunch here! Great ambiance…read more Got there about 10 minutes before they opened--didn't have a reservation, but were seated immediately along with the many other people lined up outside before they opened. Some had reservations, especially larger parties. If you plan, do the reservation thing. I prefer to do that. But we were a small party so it worked out. My breakfast biscuit was decadent and delicious. Great fried egg cooked perfectly with delicious cheese and avocado and bacon. First time I've had a perfect fried egg at a restaurant. They do it right! The Cajun seasoned tots on the side were better fresh than reheated later. Not my fave. The side of candy bacon was also very nice-- balance of sweet and spicy was great. It's served slightly chilled, but was good. The peach bellini is perfectly bubbly-- not blended. Just the way I like it! Great portion of two full glasses per order. Strong champagne. Lovely and priced right for brunch. My daughter's pancakes with warm berry compote on the side were delicious. I couldn't resist eating one since the stack was so large. Shareable for sure! And her side of bacon and scrambled eggs were delicious also. Server was fabulous. Friendly and efficient. Overall great experience. I'll definitely return soon.

If you're looking for a spot that nails the vibe, High Hours Saloon is basically a Western movie…read moreset with Wi-Fi. My wife, my 10-year-old, and I have been here about six times now, and honestly? The place always hooks us with its atmosphere. Think: rustic wood, tons of TVs, and a Sunday band that's fun enough to make you forget you meant to leave an hour ago. And shout-out to the bartenders -- they're consistently friendly. Sure, pours are a little on the "skinny jeans" side sometimes, but the good service makes up for it. Now... the food. Let's start with the wins: The burgers? Solid. The bison burger? A welcome surprise that actually delivers. But the moment you wander off the burger path? Things get... complicated. We tried a dessert two visits ago, and it came out so burnt it basically qualified as charcoal. But okay -- everyone has an off night. This last visit, though, we aimed high and ordered 2 x 14 oz ribeye. $56 worth of steak dreams, medium rare, double veggies, no mashed potatoes. Here's what landed on the table instead: A giant pile of carrots. Only carrots. Not "seasonal veggies," unless carrot season lasts 12 months now. Enough balsamic reduction to qualify as a shallow pool. My steak was literally swimming in it. Absolutely zero seasoning -- not even a rebellious sprinkle of salt. Listen... the steaks were cooked nicely. Credit where credit's due. But no one orders a ribeye expecting a balsamic slip-n-slide. The Verdict Taste-wise? This was a $25 steak wearing a $48 price tag and hoping no one notices. Atmosphere? Great. Staff? Kind. Burgers? Dependable. But if you're going for anything fancier -- especially steak night -- prepare for some surprises, and not the good kind.
