Came in for brunch with my girlfriend. Driven by countless times and decided to stop in today. First impression, the parking spots are incredibly narrow. I drive a small car and literally didn't fit in the space on the lines on both sides. Came in and waited for our turn at the counter. Ordered and paid for our food. My girlfriend ordered a bacon and avocado cheeseburger special, I ordered French toast combo. Paid by credit card and was handed cups for our drinks. I wasn't given a receipt or a number for the table. Filled our drinks and sat down. My food came out about 10 minutes later. Then the cashier came back to the table with an omelet for my girlfriend. We told her that she ordered a bacon and avocado cheeseburger. So the server took the omelet back. A couple of minutes later she brought over a hamburger and fries. My girlfriend asked for ketchup and we were directed to the area next to the drink dispenser. I got up and went to get my girlfriend some ketchup and when I was returning to the table my girlfriend was approaching the counter. It turned out that the burger didn't have bacon. She let the cashier/server know. The cashier returned a minute or two later with the correct burger and took the other one away. It's worth noting that the restaurant was about 1/4 full. Credit to the cashier/server, she was apparently the only person working the front of the house. Taking orders, delivering food to the diners, and cleaning up. Overall a disappointing experience. We probably won't return. Prices were reasonable, the food was fine, but the mistakes on my girlfriend's order were off putting. read more

Food and service were good. I ordered a Bacon Avocado Cheeseburger Combo. My BF got French Toast Breakfast meal. When they brought our good over she was about to hand me an omelette. We told her that we had ordered a burger, not an omelette. So, she took it and went back and then brought over a burger w/ fries. I went hunting thru my burger and I saw neither the avocado nor the bacon. Walked up to the front to look at the menu on the wall. Yep, it says Avocado & Bacon. My BF confirmed that's what he ordered for me. Told the server and she had yet another burger and traded my avocado bacon cheese burger for the wrong one. How convenient that she had it with her. After she took away my first burger, she placed it on the countertop by the kitchen window. Then she brought "a burger" to another table with diners. Did she serve them MY previous burger that I opened up hunting for my bacon & avocado IDK, but I hope not! I touched it and everything. Can you imagine if we (or others) also get "contaminated" food? I ordered the club sandwich meal, and if you love ranch, you're going to be very happy here -- the serving is huge. The portions overall were generous (honestly more than I could finish), but everything tasted good and hit that classic diner comfort spot. This was my 2nd time here, ordered corn beef hash and eggs with hash browns so good, my daughter ordered the pancakes. It was a delicious meal, I did forget to take a photo of her pancakes though. They also do have a drive through which is nice. I ordered the food over the phone and picked it up. The parking lot is big so there is a lot of parking available. Inside is clean and lots of seats available to dine in as well. The lady at the register was really sweet too and got my order ready as soon as I walked in. I stopped by because I saw their sign advertising a $2.99 burger after 2pm as I was passing by at 4:30p on a weekday afternoon. I just wanted a little burger to tide me over til dinner and figured this would be a good spot to try out. I'm glad I did. The service was fantastic. The lady who took my order was super nice and friendly. The turnaround time between ordering and having a burger on my table was also extremely short. The staff are fantastic and efficient! The burger was pretty decent. It should be noted, however, that the $2.99 burger is for the "junior" burger. However, the junior burger is roughly the size of a hamburger served at most backyard grill outs. It's too big to be called a slider and I would definitely be comfortable referring to it as a hamburger instead of as a junior burger. I should also note that given the lateness of the day and the fact that the restaurant was in between the lunch and dinner crowds, I was pretty the only customer in the restaurant. That suited me just fine as I enjoyed having a little peace and quiet to myself. I would expect that when the place gets busy, it would be a bit louder. Still, for a lunch and dinner spot that likely caters mainly to nearby office workers, it's definitely a place worth visiting. Also, although I didn't order anything else, there is a rather extensive menu on the wall. It looks like the restaurant also serves breakfast (including a country fried chicken breakfast, breakfast burritos, and pancakes) along with burgers, sandwiches, soups, salads, and full dinner plates (e.g., rib eye steak plate, 1/2 deep fried chicken, gyro plate). I might have to stop by again (if I'm back in the area) and try some of their other offerings. At the very least, I know the service will be excellent! read more

The food turned out to be lacking seasoning. Two basic grilled cheese sandwich combos for my kids were both under-seasoned and overpriced ($28 for 2), and when we asked the cashier for confirmation of the total price, she was so needlessly rude about it. My husband asked for a side of chilies and she basically tossed the bag of food and sneered at us, saying "it's all in there"...if you don't like the job that you chose, maybe it's time for a different one. Simple yet clean, everything is cooked to perfection. We are elderly so we split the country fried chicken. Didn't look like anything special but boy was it delicious! The chicken fried steak was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Could have been a little more substantial but as it turned out was the perfect size for the two of us! Nothing fancy, nothing bad... just a good ol' place to go get a burger and fries, or whatever your tastebuds are craving! There's a vast menu with so many options. One thing that stands out on the menu are the fried mushrooms; not greasy, just delicious warm shrooms in a crispy fried batter. A bit pricey at just about $5 for a side, but they are worth checking out, definitely enough to share with a buddy or two. Breakfast options are burritos, sandwiches, omelets, French toast, pancakes... plenty of sides and flavors. I've had the chorizo burrito (it's a big guy!) and you can choose to have that with hash browns and cheese or with rice and beans (maybe a combo of those things if you ask nicely). I liked the burrito, but wish the hash browns would have been a whole lot crispier, still good though. Omelet with sausage and hash browns is a nice big tummy warmer. Most breakfasts are between $5-10 so you may also want to check out the specials, more bang for your buck. Club Sandwich, Charbroiled Chicken Sandwich, Cheeseburger, Wet Burritos, Nachos, Greek options, Hot Dogs, Fried Chicken... the list goes on. So far, everything we've tried has fit the bill. Pricing on lunch and dinner menu ranges from $7-12. Parking is small, but so is the restaurant, we've never had a hard time finding a spot to park. There's a drive-thru as well, if you prefer. Service has been really friendly and nice, served at your table after you order at the counter. Fairly fast delivery from order to table. No refills on drinks without a charge (although there is also a sign now that says no refills due to Covid...). Kinda bummed they don't make fresh shakes here, that would be killer! Although the prices are a bit high for this type of place, there are a lot of options and just about something for everyone. Quality has always seemed pretty upstanding and you do get a nice portion size, so really can't complain. Seems reviews are hit or miss on Famous Burgers, but we've always had a nice experience. Although the staff isn't very pleasant, their burgers are good.. we went through the drive-through today and ordered a double cheeseburger plain and when I got home, I had a double cheeseburger with no cheese. The reason I'm writing the review is because of their response. I called them and ended up on the phone with them for five minutes with the person on the phone going back-and-forthwith the cook, when all they could've said was hey yeah no problem. I ordered the carne asada taco, fried mushrooms and the pastrami sandwich. This cost me almost $28.00. I ordered through the drive thru and waited for about 10 minutes. If the food is fresh, waiting 10 minutes wouldn't be an issue but I had multiple issues with my order. The fried mushrooms weren't fresh. They were hot but the mushrooms weren't soft on the inside. It almost tasted like cardboard. However that's not my main complaint. The pastrami sandwich was a rip off. It's over $13 by itself and had less than half the meat of a normal pastrami sandwich from anywhere else. Plus, the meat wasn't juicy at all. Let's support our local businesses during this tough time! Another mom and pop eatery I stumbled upon in the morning. Because of COVID there was no customers in the restaurant as I peered from my vantage point in the drive thru. The employees appeared excited to take my order as if I were the first customer of the day. Ordered the Bacon Cheeseburger, Fried Chicken Burger, Side of hashbrowns and sausage, and 'spoon of chili.' The food was pretty good. Like many of these diners nothing spectacular but it definitely gets the job done. The hash brown was actually nice and crispy on the outside. The sausages were not patties but the maple-syrup links kind that were juicy with each bite, but a little on the sweet side. The chicken sandwich usually comes on toast but if you order it as a burger it comes on a bun. Also, the 'spoon' was probably a spatula because the size of the chili they gave was very big. It was a tad cold but not as oily as other diner chili's. Overall a pretty good diner and if you're in the area and need a bite to eat come on down! I am vegan but i was craving some dive-in fries. So why not! For 2 large fries they hooked it up!! It was $6 and they gave 2 plates stacked with fries.
