Same location, different operation. I half expected someone to dramatically switch name tags halfway through the meal. This review is for the dinner side of Lety's. The place itself is about as charming as an old converted burger stand can be. Inside it's basically just an order counter, and the seating is limited to a small patio with maybe half a dozen umbrella covered tables. It works, but it's not somewhere I'd plan to linger. I'd probably grab it to go unless I was just looking for a quick lunch. The good news is the food completely carried the experience. My pollo asado plate was excellent. The chicken was perfectly seasoned, cooked just right, and paired with beans and rice that absolutely did their job. My wife ordered the shrimp burrito and was equally impressed. Everything tasted like someone's family had been making it this way for years. it's not super fancy, just genuinely authentic, home-cooked Mexican food. So while I probably won't make Letys my destination for patio dining, I will absolutely make it a destination for the food. Four solid stars, and next time I'll probably be enjoying it in my own living room.

We ordered four platters: two sampler platters, a taco platter, and a burrito platter, plus extra rice and beans. Depending on the platter, they also came with chips and salsa, rice and beans, and salad. There was plenty of variety for our group, and the food was wonderful -- authentic, flavorful Mexican food, not the typical chain-restaurant version. The staff was fantastic from beginning to end. It was easy to place our large order over the phone, everything was ready right on time, and it was packaged extremely well for us to transport back to the hotel. Our team loved the meal, and I would absolutely recommend Harbor Mexican Cafe whether you're stopping in to eat at their small restaurant or ordering food for a group or event. In fact, I enjoyed it so much that I stopped by again on my way home today to grab a to-go order for myself to enjoy when I get home! Great food, great staff, and a wonderful experience all around. We'll definitely remember this place the next time we're in La Habra!
