Well that did not happen to me when I finally got to try a Lobster roll from the famous LobstaTruck. A few years ago I was at the Tustin AMC when I saw the truck. I had heard about it so we went over only to see a line that was 40 yards deep. No way to make our movie so we put it off. A few months ago I was somewhere that they were going to be only to learn that the truck broke down and the killer was last month when I was in Irvine and saw on Twitter that they were a couple blocks away. I finished my meeting and drove right over only to see the driving away. Aaahhgggg!!!! So today was a few miles away in Long Beach and decided to try the roll. I was shocked to find that there was no line and only a few marines that had just picked up their orders. I was surprised to hear whether I wanted butter or mayo. I thought I all rolls came with mayo but I asked what was more popular. The gal mentioned that the butter was more popular so I had to try that one. I was thinking about adding the extra meat but I am glad I didn't, the roll was perfect although I wish it were a little bigger. The roll here comes on what looks like a giant buttered Texas toast, not the hoagie type roll I was imagining but the toast was really delicious and adds a lot of taste to the roll. My roll had plenty of meat and had a few big chunks that you can really bite into. It had some butter on the lobster but not so much that it was oily. Just perfect. I cant believe how good it was to taste this awesome explosion of deliciousness and I cant wait to get back to try the sandwich with mayo; you know for research. Next time I will also try the lobster bisque soup. The Marine that was eating next to me also had the soup and it really made me crave it but I had a big breakfast this morning and so I will have to chase down this truck again.

I ordered the Lemon Pepper and Peruvian Green wings, and both were excellent. One thing people…read moredon't always appreciate is how hard it is to keep wings crispy while still coating them in sauce. This spot nailed that balance. The batter was thin, light, and crispy, while the chicken stayed juicy and tender. The Lemon Pepper wings tasted like real lemon pepper should. Instead of relying on a heavy premade seasoning, they incorporated fresh lemon zest, which gave the wings a bright, fresh and authentic flavor. I'm usually not a lemon pepper person, but these definitely won me over. The Peruvian Green wings were my favorite. The sauce was herbaceous, tangy, creamy, and packed with flavor. Honestly, put that sauce over a bowl of rice and I'd happily finish every bite. The experience was just as enjoyable as the food. Pete shared samples of his cornbread and brought a fun, confident energy that made the visit memorable. You can tell he takes pride in what he serves, and that passion comes through in the food. I'm giving 4 stars because while I genuinely enjoyed everything, I have a feeling the best is still yet to come. If this is the standard they're setting now, I'm excited to see what future menu additions and wing flavors look like. I'll definitely be back!

Adam was approachable and exceptionally polite. Hands down a one of a kind business. Highly recommend! Ample street parking and atm friendly.

It was the massive wood-fired brick oven sitting inside what looked like a taco trailer. I actually had to do a double take. It felt like someone had folded an authentic Italian pizzeria into a food trailer using some sort of pizza wizardry. I visited on one of those 99°F days when the pavement feels personally offended by your existence. Watching Adam work next to that blazing oven made me sweat out of pure sympathy. Whoever is making those pizzas deserves a standing ovation... and probably unlimited lemonade. I ordered one of their best sellers, the **Debby's**, loaded with tomato sauce, fresh basil, mozzarella, sausage, and mushrooms. Then came the first bite. You know those moments when your brain quietly whispers, *"Yep... this is the one."* That happened. The crust was everything I want in a wood-fired pizza. Crisp on the outside, soft and chewy in the middle, with just enough stretch to make every slice fight back before letting go. That's the kind of resistance I'm happy to deal with. The tomato sauce tasted bright and fresh, with that lively acidity that says, "I met a tomato recently," instead of, "I've been living in a can since 2001." The mozzarella melted into every bite without stealing the spotlight. The mushrooms were juicy, the sausage had just the right amount of seasoning, and the basil tied everything together like the final note in a great song. What surprised me most wasn't that the pizza was good. It was *where* I found it. I never expected to discover pizza that reminded me of a great New York pizzeria right here in Hacienda Heights. For the longest time, I figured I'd have to drive to Los Angeles or Pasadena whenever a serious pizza craving hit. Looks like my gas tank just got a well-deserved break. Adamz Pizza Stop has officially earned a permanent spot on my pizza rotation. Sometimes the best slices aren't hiding in fancy restaurants. Sometimes they're coming out of a giant brick oven tucked inside a humble trailer, quietly making some of the best pizza in town.

Onto our food -- the chicken was lacking flavor, I'd rather go to Ono Hawaiian BBQ which has way more flavor. The salad changed from shredded cabbage to mixed greens. The beef short ribs are much thinner and no longer pre-cut. The teriyaki sauce is worse too - thick sauce, vinegar/sour flavor -- not sure if it's gone bad but definitely not the thin teriyaki flavor sauce they used to have. I cannot comment on the beef ribs as we did not order it but it seems everything went downhill and I would not recommend this place anymore. The clerk that assisted us was nice and friendly so +1 star.
