I love Sixty Vines! It's a fantastic location- great if you want to meet friends. Metro accessible to Foggy Bottom Station, close to the shuttle to the Kennedy Center for a pre-show meal as well. Very green and vibey, lively and smells incredible (they have their signature candle for sale), has lots of options that suit tons of dietary needs. I love all of their vegetable based share plates the most- cauliflower with the most scrumptious eggplant dip, the crisp little zucchini, tangy and crispy Brussels sprouts...I've brought two different groups here visiting town, as they're fantastic with groups because of the nice big tables. Love this spot!

First time at this restaurant and it's really good! Really great brunch specials with the $5 mimosas. There's a ton of unique gf options too! I want to go back and try more.

I've been wanting to try this place for a long time and finally made it. I loved the atmosphere, decor, and the service. We started off with the bacon wrapped dates and the brussel sprouts. Both were really good...I just wish there were more of the dates...lol.

Checked out Sixty Vines again on Valentine's Day with my bestie, and it was such a vibe! We didn't have a reservation, but we were seated right away, which was a pleasant surprise. The service was great from the moment we sat down until we left. Special shoutout to Serenity, one of the managers, who made it a point to check on guests (including us) throughout our meal. She made sure we had everything we needed and even invited us back so my bestie could experience more than just the mussels since we were on a time crunch that night. And let me tell you -- the mocktail was spectacular! The ambiance here is always amazing. You really get the best of both worlds: wine-tasting energy paired with delicious food and great vibes to enjoy with friends. The décor is top tier and sets the perfect mood for any occasion. Fast forward to today -- we went back for brunch and let's just say... we'll definitely be back again The salmon board was out of this world! Everything was seasoned to perfection. Our pastas were delicious as well. My friend enjoyed the mimosa bar experience (you get a bottle of Champagne with a variety of juices and fresh fruit to mix at the front). I stuck to the juice but I did try the non-alcoholic sparkling rosé, and it was amazing! We made sure to save room for dessert, and I'm so glad we did because it was even better this time around. The chefs, servers, and managers truly did their thing. And another huge thank you to Serenity for her amazing service again!

Had a fantastic Valentines Day lunch here. We ordered the margherita pizza, rigatoni, hummus, and enjoyed a flight of wines. Highly recommend for Italian + Wine Sipping in Georgetown! (FYI - Highly recommend the hummus, especially the beet hummus. It is FIRE.) We got 4 glasses at about 2.5 oz each, which was fairly reasonable. My husband and I enjoyed savoring each. From the moment, we walked in, the hostress greeted us with a smile. Also, our server, Stephanie, was attentive and cheerful, even though her section was incredibly busy. Her ability to multi-task and check in regularly even in a rush is admirable. (She quickly resolved my question, helped us find wines, and even asked me what my plans were, which was thoughtful and the kind of outstanding care you don't see too much these days.) I would 100% return to Sixty Vines.

Came here for a group dinner. Ambiance is fantastic, great for a date night. A little bit loud to be honest. Service was good, but Friday night was busy. My dish was pretty delicious, but I think a braised beef would be better than braised fork for the tagliatelle dish. Overall, i think this is a great place to dine if you live in Foggy Bottom, which is a food desert wasteland.

Came here for Restaurant Week just before the storm rolled in over the weekend. We initially entered through a side door and waited a bit before anyone acknowledged us. Eventually, someone came over and walked us to the hostess stand, which felt a little disorganized from the start. But also, user error I suppose. The restaurant itself was very cold, and with the long gaps between dishes, it made for an uncomfortable dining experience overall. To their credit, they did comp our drinks due to the wait, which was appreciated. I'm not sure if they were short-staffed or if the weather threw things off, but service definitely felt strained. Food-wise, the brunch pizza was the standout, easily the best thing we ordered. The brunch burger was also quite good. I wouldn't recommend the fried chicken and caviar dish; I'm honestly not sure where the caviar was, because it was barely noticeable. The affogato leaned more toward cake and ice cream than a true affogato, which was a bit disappointing. That said, the burrata was absolutely delicious. I'd consider coming back when the weather is better to give it another shot and explore their extensive wine selection, which seems to be a strong point.

Every dish I have here is spectacular. So Fresh and well prepared. I love how they can accommodate large parties and the service is always good. I love the decor and the fresh open lighting!

Sixty Vines is a great spot for wine tastings with intimate, romantic vibes, perfect for a date night. If you're feeling social, the shared table experience is a fun way to meet new people while dining. The lighting is low, so us "seasoned" folks might need a flashlight to read the menu , but honestly, it adds to the ambiance. The food was delicious and filling, and our waiter did not disappoint with his starter and entrée recommendations. Everything hit the mark. Next time, I'm definitely saving room for dessert.

Sixty vines brunch was a nice time, they had lovely Christmas holiday additions that I was appreciative of. A dj was onsite playing classic and cool Christmas covers. There were high-end vendors with jewelry, candles, and other handmade crafted gifts. The ambience and the customer service is superb. There was a free hot chocolate that includes a shot of liquor if you're feeling frisky. The Sesenta sparking white is a delightful semi/ dry-sweet, and well if it's two of you, just buy the bottle! I like this spot for small plates. We enjoyed the beet & herb goat cheese salad. We could have used more balsamic dressing and cheese. The fried chicken & caviar, not bad, but the dish was too light on the crème fraiche sauce. The potatoes, layered and shaped like cubes, sprinkled in sea salt, are delicious. I feel like they hold back on the decadence of the dishes. Note: We want more sauce, dressing, seasoning, and cheese. Please!

I started with the bacon-wrapped dates--absolutely fantastic. Perfectly crisp on the outside and full of rich, sweet flavor inside. For my main dish, I tried the pork pappardelle pasta, which was tender, and packed with flavor. I also did a four glass wine tasting, which was such a fun way to sample different varieties but the prices add up. The staff was nice and helped me pick a great mix of reds. Highly recommend if you love great food and wine in a laid-back but elegant setting!

I really want to like Sixty Vines, I just feel like their food is very inconsistent. Our table was a large party so I was able to try a few items on the menu, I loved the whipped feta + porchutto which you could order on one of their boards. I loved the tuna crudo app as well. The Brussel sprout app had many flavors and was very tasty. Where the restaurant fell short for me was the entree's, I ordered the salmon and the salmon tasted more charred than flavorful and the brussel sprouts that came with the entree were completely tasteless. A friend also ordered the salmon to accompany her pasta which also had zero flavor. This was also my second time ordering the broccolini which was super tasty, but also my second time finding a rubber band in the dish (found out after I was already home) A friend did order the steak however, which was very good. Overall, the service was great, which is why we ultimately stuck with our food. Not sure if I'll come back here... probably not by choice, but if I do, I'm very confident on what I'd order and what I'd avoid.

I absolutely adore this place so of course I was excited that my friends selected it for our triple date night. The ambiance is always amazing! Cozy and great for friends, family, date night, or even causal time with coworkers. The staff were incredible and super friendly and I cannot express this enough. Yes, we encountered a few mean faces here and there but overall the hostesses were warm, our waitress was incredible, and some of the staff were very friendly. For starters we ordered the crispy zucchini and burrata. The crispy zucchini was DELISH! Simply delectable and fried well. The burrata was excellent and the bread was so soft. For main dishes, we ordered different things but my boyfriend ordered the shrimp campanelle and I ordered the Atlantic shrimp-both were absolutely delicious. We paired our dishes with a crisp glass of Pinot Gris for me and a spicy margarita for him. Overall, the company, food, drinks, and ambiance were a great combination. Can't wait to return.

The sommelier's guidance made the experience even better; every recommendation paired perfectly with our meal. And the food? Superb. Outstanding. We ended up trying almost everything because we simply couldn't decide -- and not a single dish disappointed. Each plate felt intentional, refined, and deeply flavorful. We got a bunch of things to share. I ate the butter like it was frosting. It may be cultured, but I'm not!! Had the carrots, escargot, the deviled eggs, and the pasta. Also had the octopus pepper gilda thing. Our server, think his name was Hunter, said that was the most popular main. It was very delicious, rich but not overly so. The martini was nice and came with a side car. Great presentation. When my friend saw the martini she said this makes me feel like i know how to live. They have a good wine list, you can get good stuff without breaking the bank. Their espresso is nice. I don't think they have decaf though.

History of Present Indulgence 32 yo M presents with spouse…read moreand friend for pre-comedy show dinner at Italian establishment on 18th Street in Adams Morgan. No reservation and sat comfortably at the bar. Physical Examination Food - This place was absolutely delicious. We started with Arancini and Prosciutto e Polenta. The arancini was fried perfectly - crispy outside, warm risotto inside, and sitting in this savory-sweet tomato sauce that I could've honestly just eaten with a spoon (and basically did using the focaccia they give with your meal - which itself was delicious too). The arancini also has ground beef in the center, which adds to the flavor and depth of what is usually just fried risotto. The polenta fries with paprika aioli were fantastic too. My only complaint is that I wish there were more of the fries because there were only 3 to go along with the large plate of sliced prosciutto. The prosciutto itself was fine. Just standard quality prosciutto. For mains, we went family-style and shared three entrees: the pork ossobuco from the secondi menu, the tagliarini with shredded duck, and the cavatelli with rabbit and fava beans. The ossobuco was cooked well, though I wish the braise flavor went deeper into the pork. The truffle mushroom risotto underneath was incredible. Rich, creamy, and the fresh lemon and parsley gremolata on top cut through all that richness perfectly. The tagliarini was delicious, but my wife and I agreed that the duck flavor was a little lost in the rich marinara sauce. It didn't feel like I was eating duck, to be honest. You could've told me that was shredded short rib, and I might've believed you. The cavatelli was probably my favorite dish - those shell-shaped pasta pieces with rabbit and fava beans in a white wine sauce that had this unique flavor I haven't tasted anywhere else. There's a mild gaminess from the rabbit, but it was very subtle. Each time I had a fava bean, it was a fun change of pace in texture and taste as I was spooning this plate down my throat. It was so so good. Portions were generous too, which made the prices feel totally worth it. We left full and satisfied. My wife had a lambrusco spritz that was deliciously refreshing, and we shared some good wine throughout the meal. No complaints. Service - The bartender was really kind and attentive. Even though we weren't at a table, we didn't feel like we were getting second-tier service or anything. They checked on us regularly, made good recommendations, and kept everything moving smoothly. I also love a service that offers more table bread without needing to be asked. And their table bread was this fragrant focaccia, so I could've eaten all of whatever they brought. Ambiance - haven't been to a ton of Italian restaurants in DC, but I loved the vibe here. Intimate, cozy, dim lighting. The wine selection was great too - enough variety to be interesting without being one of those overwhelming 50-page wine lists. I think this would be a perfect date night spot. Assessment A high-quality Italian restaurant with creative takes on traditional dishes, generous portions, and an intimate atmosphere. A strong contender for the Adams Morgan dining scene, where restaurants are lined up right next to each other, and making a choice can be a bit difficult. Plan - Add to recommended restaurant list for DC visitors - Consider for future date nights or a solo wine and appetizer moment - Return to try more pasta dishes or enjoy a happy hour

We told one of the servers and he said noted, then never came back and it was never addressed. The ossobucco with the risotto rice was extremely undercooked, where we could see the white middles of each grain of rice. The ossobucco itself was delicious though! I reached out on their website to share that we were a bit disappointed as we were there with friends who claim this is one of their favorite Italian restaurants in the DMV, and having multiple bones in a dish is not acceptable. Not coming back and saying something is also unacceptable. No one reaching back out after I emailed them, is equally very unacceptable.

Warm wood, soft lighting, an atmosphere that feels intimate without being cramped, the kind of place that makes you want to slow down and stay a while. The team went above and beyond when they learned I don't drink: they gifted us a non-alcoholic wine, a complimentary appetizer, and dessert. That kind of hospitality isn't scripted... it's felt. Now, the food. The housemade sourdough with eucalyptus honey butter is dangerous, I could have stopped there and been happy. The roasted carrot salad with hazelnut dukkah and garlic toum was one of those dishes that makes you rethink a vegetable entirely. The garlic knots had no business being that good... crispy, layered, almost croissant-like, deeply garlicky in the best way. For pasta we had the pappardelle with spicy roasted pork ragù and fennel breadcrumbs, and the canastra cheese ravioli with wild garlic pesto and brazil nut pangrattato, that stunning deep green dish topped with chive blossoms looked like art and tasted even better. Both pastas were perfect. Then the Brazilian budino with coconut caramel and toasted coconut came out with a little candle tucked in. I nearly cried. This is a restaurant that treats every table like it matters. We will absolutely be back.
