Let's just put it this way: I drive from Bayside, Queens every three weeks for the dip powder manicure. If my nails didn't grow at an abnormal rate I would go every 3.5/4 weeks-thats how good this stuff is! Whenever I get a regular pedicure, the polish lasts at least 2.5 weeks. The girls always do a great job and are super friendly. Establishment and tools are always clean, chairs are incredibly comfy and the experience is much more relaxed than a regular Mani/pedicure. I just paid $30 to get my eyebrows waxed. I walked in because I'm new to the neighborhood. I never write reviews let alone bad ones. Everyone was really nice and respectful however it's regular wax. There's nothing special about it . And they are supposed to specialize in waxing. Never in my life and I've gone to some questionable places have my eyebrows come out so jacked up. Very expensive!! Been to many nail places, get powder french every 2-3 weeks. Decided to try this place because its close to home and my daughter said they have comfortable chairs to sit in and do your nails while relaxing with your feet up. Well thats not the case. Your feet are only up if your getting a pedicure. The usual cost i pay every where for powder french is $50. One time I went somewhere and they charged me $60. This place charged me $75, for the same service you get everywhere for $50. There was nothing special about this place to spend $25 more. Won't be going back! read more

Not a great experience. they cut my nails WAY too short but by the time I realized how short they would be after filing there wasn't anything I could do. They also have two people working on your nails at once at certain points. It doesn't make sense to have two people working on your nails at the same time because while it's faster it caused a lot of problems with shaping and nail length inconsistency for me. I had to point out uneven lengths, lopsided shaping, and dip powder residue multiple times before the owner (I think) finally came over to fix it. And by that point I had barely any nail left. There isn't a website with pricing listed ANYWHERE which should have been a red flag. The owner kept saying they have a "reputation" for being good at dip powder but they definitely did not uphold it. I went to this place because of their Instagram presence and because they specialized in dip powder which was something I'd been looking for. They also have signs up asking people not to use their cell phones while in the salon which is fine but they're ok with allowing a toddler to run around the salon pushing the foot stools and crashing into things while people are getting their nails done. I also find it really weird that they don't have faucets and tubs for pedicures but they just use regular basins. I didn't get a pedicure but this was just something I observed. I felt really anxious and on edge the entire time because I felt like I had to keep watching what the tech was doing which I HATE. They were going to let me walk out of there with dip powder residue all over the tips of my fingers (significantly noticeable because I got a blue manicure) until I pointed it out multiple times and then they had to take the e-file to my fingers to take it off. Overall wouldn't recommend it. The two things I'd say they have over other salons are their dip powder color selection and that they are (when it comes to tools anyway) very clean. But it was overpriced for the awful experience I had especially considering they claim to "specialize" in dip powder. read more

This nail salon is like no other. You sit at comfy chairs while you get your nails done by passionate nail techs. Everyone is very friendly, attentive, and helpful. You never hear them talking smack in another language, because let's be real, almost all other nail salons, the nails techs definitely do. I decided to try this place out after my usual nail place was packed and the next appointment was hours away. I called this place and was able to book an appointment within a half an hour. I immediately noticed how clean and beautiful this place is the moment I walked in. Aesthetically pleasing to the eye, neat and organized, and all the nail techs were clean and neatly dressed. Now to the nail business: I got acrylic tips and gel color. Kelsey cut my nails the length I wanted, and shaped them exactly how I wanted them as well. She asked my preference on the thickness on the acrylic, and took great care and pride in making sure I was a satisfied customer. She and I chatted and she was so bubbly and friendly and welcoming! None of my nails peeled off, like they normally do. And believe me, I tried. I'm a nail biter and constantly pick at my nails and after a week and a half, my acrylic nails usually peel it chip off. These stayed on strong until I returned for a fill in 2 weeks later. None of the color faded away either. I had a little piece of one of my nails chipped off on the side but nothing major. I do not remember the nail tech who did my nails last time but she did a phenomenal job as well. I had my engagement photo shoot the next day and my nails were perfect again. Please keep in mind this place isn't the cheapest, nor the most expensive. Also keep in mind you get what you pay for, for the most part. Check this place out. You won't regret it. Very high quality nail salon with great nails techs who provide outstanding customer service. The owner is great, too. She loves seeing how your nails come out at the end! read more

I am not one to leave reviews, but after my recent experience here, I feel compelled. I've been to this nail salon a few times here and there. I was never fully satisfied with any of my experiences or how my nails turned out, but would go for convenience and for the dip powders. One time I went, the girl doing my nails cut me and filed my nails so much that my nail beds were sore for a few days after. The chairs are also very uncomfortable to receive a manicure in. The last time I was there was November (5 months ago). On 1/31, I received a text message that said, "WE MISS YOU" with a $10 off dip powder option if I made an appt. So, naturally, I called to make an appointment. I told the girl on the phone (Erika) about the text message and after "looking me up" she told me that that coupon doesn't apply to me because the last time I was there was in November and it hasn't been long enough. I apologized to her thinking I read the text message wrong. She told me I didn't read it wrong and that they just send that mass text to everybody because they have no control over who it goes to and who it doesn't so they just send it to everyone, but I wouldn't be allowed to use it. So basically, they sent me a coupon and then told me it doesn't apply to me...what? I ended up canceling my appointment. They called me to ask if I wanted to reschedule once they saw I cancelled. I told her I wouldn't be rescheduling and she told me to have a nice weekend. They clearly don't need the business and they certainly won't be getting mine anymore. That being said, I am fairly new to the area and had not established a "THE place to go" for an hour of nail therapy. However, I live in Babylon and am always driving by this salon, love the street view and decided to give this little gem a shot despite the previous bad reviews. When walking in for my appt., the receptionist was warm and friendly as she greeted me and advised that, as a new client, I get $10 off my manicure! (Woohoo!) She then advised that I will be getting my mani and pedi concurrently, which is a HUGE plus - who has the time to sit for more than an hour to get girly? She escorted me to my comfy, oversized chair and helped pick out colors before my mani/pedicurist came over and diligently starting working away. A few things that set this salon apart from the rest: the girls are all really professional and provide a relaxing environment where you don't feel that exhausting pressure of talking throughout the nail therapy. I asked for a VERY simple design of gold by the cuticles which in the picture is done with a gold nail polish. They proceed to pull out some sort of gold ribbon to do it. I trusted their judgement. Welp, everyone now thinks I did it myself. Kicker is, they charged me $25 for the design. I was emotionally exhausted at that point, so I paid. Would I go back? yes but ONLY for basic dip, NEVER ask for a design. I wound up paying $72 for craft store nails + tip to my nail technican (gave her $12, it's covid, these people are struggling). Will not go back. The salon is very clean. However chairs are very uncomfortable, having to lean to one side during the manicure. I do not mind paying higher prices, but you don't get what you pay for here. Some of the technicians are great and others are not. My nails looked horrible after a gel manicure. The owner fixed my nails by using a nail file to take off excess polish on my cuticles and skin. She told me they looked "unacceptable and sloppy," and only took $5 off. I was so excited after passing this establishment multiple times. I go in and everything seems great. I get this gel design I love and a cute pedicure color $74 later. I'm always willing to splurge if it's worth it. WELL ... 3 days later the gel starts to lift from my nail and 5 days later 2 more start to go. Within that time frame my pedicure chips. My nails usually last 2 weeks, pushing 3. I go back. They fix my toes, not a great job done and they told me I'd have to pay for my nails but they'd give me a "discount". This felt like a slap in the face mainly because I spent $74 on this and the fact that I have to pay because I removed all the nail polish. I have gotten my dip powder done here a few times and every time has been great. The nails last long and they never chipped or cracked on me. I recently went one day and even though the price for plain color dip powder is $45, I was willing to spend the money because of how well the manicure looks and lasts. I got my nails done on a Friday and by Monday they were already cracking and chipping. I didn't recognize the woman who did my nails, so she may have been new, however that doesn't make up for my bad experience. She didn't file my nails at all or even them out so when my nails were done some of them were crooked at the top. While she was doing the actual powder, I noticed that she wasn't getting the entire nail on the sides for a few of of my nails. Normally I wouldn't say anything but it was at $45 manicure. So when I said something another woman came over and helped for one nail. She took all of the powder off and redid it. It was much better after that. I knew there were still 2 or 3 more nails dipped horribly with the same issue and I tried explaining that to the girl when she did them but she only fixed one. Then the girl originally doing my nails brought over the woman Joanna and she fixed them a little, but when I looked over the nail before they did the topcoat, the powder was uneven and it was very obvious where she added to fix the mistake. The woman doing my nails saw that it wasn't smooth and still tried to put the top coat on it. I had to stop her and ask her to file it a little otherwise it would've been uneven. At this point I just wanted to leave because I couldn't believe I had to sit there and make sure the woman doing my nails was doing them correctly. I was not happy with this experience and should not have to ask someone doing my nails to cover the entire nail with the color powder. And not for nothing, she didn't clean up the cuticles or anything and when I walked out the nails just looked so sloppy. I'd rather save the extra $15 and get my nails done at a salon closer to my house. It's really a shame when I look on the salons instagram and see beautifully done nails and then look down at my nails done only a few days ago and see chipped, uneven and sloppy nails. read more

I've been coming to these wonderful ladies for nearly two years now. I started coming from what I saw on their social media and the fact that they did dip powder because I had just started doing the dip on my nails. So long story short my nails were destroyed by a previous salon in West Babylon because they weren't doing the dip powder correctly and my nails would fall off regularly but then these ladies saved the day once I started coming. In my nearly two years of getting my nails done here I have never had a nail fall off due to lifting, I broken a nail once but that was my own fault. My nails last nearly a month before lifting and when they lift it's not that much either. Yes they are a bit more expensive than most salons but they are the best for quality dip powder nails. All the customers at my job always compliment how nice my nails are and ask about them. read more

They were booked too, but the owner squeezed me in at the end of the day with Michelle. I had to come back a couple of hours later, but it was absolutely worth it! Several members of the staff, including the owner, worked on my nails. No one seemed annoyed that I was there at the end of the day, and everyone took their time and was incredibly attentive. I really was very excited that this lovely place opened in the Village. The ladies are all very friendly and professional and I received a tour of the place. I was impressed with the cleanliness, however, there were three major things that make the experience less than optimal: First: there are no foot baths attached to the chairs. They have to run the water in the back of the store and carry the heavy, awkward foot baths to your chair. Not good for the back of the technician and not good because the waster sloshes as they walk (creating unsafe, slippery conditions). The water also cools off quickly with no way to heat it up again. Second: the chair is on the floor at the same level as the technician. This causes two things to happen. I have very long legs and I have to put my feet up on her little rolling seat and bend my feet unnaturally to get my toes into position for her to work on my nails. Three: because I have to bend my feet, I wind up pushing the technician backward on her wheeled seat. Which furthers the unnatural angle of my feet and strains my legs. The technician has to pull her rolling seat forward a few times and I have to put my arm under my legs and hold them up-very uncomfortable. I've been there three times and received a good pedicure. I think some of the technicians are new, so they need some experience. It's just too uncomfortable for me to go there under these conditions, so unfortunately I just can't go back. I think they should get a few of the chairs with the foot baths attached. They can be cleaned between uses and are sanitary. If the cost of replacing the chairs is too much, at least it would be easy to fix the height problem by making a platform for the existing chairs to sit on. This would raise the height of the chairs enough so that your feet could rest comfortably on the rolling seat. It would also allow the technician to sit up straight to work on your toes. It would not, however, address the foot bath nor the water on the floor condition. My husband is a safety professional and agrees that the slip and fall hazard caused by sloshing water and the technicians having to carry the heavy foot baths are not good. Please consider making your place more comfortable and I'm sure you will have more customers. read more

Place is clean, and the ladies are nice too. However my powder gel that was supposed to last 2-3 weeks lasted 6 days before started cracking. Also it was applied so think, and i felt like i had glue under my nail. My callous pedicure was so sub-par, and no massage was preformed. For the extra money you spend here, you aren't getting anything extra except maybe a nicer ambience. I won't be returning. read more
