Took off half my eyebrow when waxing the right side , was in a extreme rush for no reason

I made an appointment the day of because I was in a rush and thankfully they got me in for 6pm on a Monday. This was my first time there and the place looked super nice and clean. I was taken right away when i walked in. Summer was the one who did my nails and I asked for a french ombre. She did a powder gel base and used an air brush for the white ombre. And we went for a gold foil accent nail. My nails looked so pretty. I was super happy with them because I had gotten them done for my engagement ceremony. First time here.... Where do I begin.... 1) yes i was a walk-in (at 1030). She said they could take me and told me to pick a color. Doesn't show me where to go, I just happened to see a stack that said "gel-powder". 2) the girl that took me for my nails, very nice. Asked me the basic questions "cut down, same shape, etc". 3) my nails we a pointy almond- not round almond when I came in. She rounded off all my nails on the right hand and then when I asked to make more pointy she did try her best - she was receptive and made note of this for my left hand. 3) she applied the dip- which was some kind of off-brand dip powder called wave dip- acrylic and gel - is what the container said. It was just ok 4) when she applied the cuticle oil the dried dip did something very strange - almost like curdled- on my left hand. She filed it down and reapplied top cot. Leaving a not so finished looked on my left hand. On my right hand the was a bubbled on the dried top coat - she filed it down and said OK- without refinishing it. But now it "fogs" up. All in all- nails are crooked, not the finished look one pays $40 PLUS $10 tip for. If I didn't have places to be today I would have said something. So I guess shame on me for not speaking up - but 1.5 hours is long enough for dip powder. (Left at 1205) Save your money and go somewhere else. I have been here a handful of times but this last time I went will be the last time. Not only do they persistently try to get you to spend more money, but the work is subpar. I got my pedicure a week ago and it's already chipping. My dad also got a pedicure, and the bottom of his foot was in so much pain. When we took a look, he had a fungal infection that he had to take antifungal medication for. AFTER A $73 PEDICURE. When I asked if I could get acrylics they said no but said they could do a gel manicure with an "extension" which is $52. They told me acrylics were $50, so I was saving money. However, after my nails were done I looked at their price list and acrylics were $40. I don't recommend this place at all. read more

Went here for a regular manicure. They almost NEVER take walk ins even for a 10 min manicure. Since they were somewhat slow and I came early for my appt I asked if they could maybe add a pedicure, they said no. Ok fine. I asked if for my regular manicure they could do one small heart design on one nail. They said no unless I got a full acrylic set or gel. Then I tried to tip on my card, the woman said she preferred cash. All wasn't like awful, but no massage like other places. Hardly any attention. Barely got a hot towel. Mediocre job. This weekend was my third time coming here, and unfortunately it will be my last. I spend $85 for a uv gel full set with a design. The nail design was done well, the shape and length were nothing like what I had asked for. The tech that did my nails did not do any cuticle care, and filed my nails so short on the sidewalls , that 4 days later they still hurt. I was also cut pretty bad with the file while she was shaping them. Overall, not the experience I had hoped for. read more

I've never had any issues. Nails always come out nice. Being open on Sundays is a big convenience.

They did a phenomenal jobs. My gel manicure lasted four weeks. The only downside is to get into the parking lot at the light by the tracks.

I have been coming here for years now since they opened and last night I had the worst experience. I had a girl do my nails who I have never seen there before and I asked her if she could do a design and I showed her what I wanted and said that I wanted them to be pink. While she was doing them all of the workers were standing around her and it felt like they were telling her she was not doing them right. One worker actually had them on her nails and told me to ask for this next time (because it was done correctly) When I left I was so upset that my nails were silver and not pink so I called back and they told me I would have to pay $20 to fix the nails. I have spent so much money at this place and have recommended them to everyone. Me or my family with never be returning. read more

Just moved from Nassau so I needed to find a new nail salon. I have high expectations when it comes to my nails and I'm happy I tried this place over other places in the area. So many (+) first they are open 7 days a week with amazing good hours, never to packed, and if you can't find a color you just ask and they will help you!!! They should offer a discount when the new person/person in training does your nails... I got a power gel manicure and left with all uneven nails, different shapes (some square, some rounded square, some coffin shape) and cuts on 4 of my fingers. The owners realized my nails were uneven but just asked if I liked the color, not acknowledging the uneven nails or my cuticles bleeding. My pedicure was also very rushed when it wasn't even busy. I've been here plenty of times before and have never been so disappointed. read more

I was looking for a new nail salon for a while and was searching through instagram looking for ones by me. I am so glad I found this salon. Absolutely the best manicure I have ever gotten. Since I started coming to Summer's I have gotten non stop compliments on my nails and I am constantly recommending this salon. I also like the set up of the salon every customer/nail tech has their own area and it doesn't feel tight at all. The staff is full of very talented nail techs and always do a great job.
