Sadly I would not recommend this nail salon. I went there for the first time in a while and the owner did my powder manicure and another employee did my pedicure. During my manicure, the owner kept making excuses for things she did wrong but would repeat "no one does it like me, these will last forever". Needless to say... 1. My nails were grown out, even, and beautifully square and by the end, most nails on the right side was severely filed as if I had oval nails and my left side was normal 2. She missed the sides of my nails, once again, the right side only, and when I brought it to her attention she was blaming my nail beds even though I've never had an issue in my life. As a result, she did do another coat to fix it 3. She cut my finger with the file and then repeated to go over the same area even after I brought it to her attention. By day two, I had nails cracking from the side and tops. By day four, the polish had hairline cracks throughout and polish was 80% off of one nail. Quite honestly the worst powder manicure I've ever received. The worst part is, I got my nails done a day before vacation (so clearly I wasn't mistreating them) and I got engaged on the vacation. My nails looked horrendous for one of the major times in your life that you want them to look good. For the pedicure, I noticed the white I picked out was too clear so I admitted my mistake and asked if she could use a different white for the next coat (I didn't ask for anything to be removed or restarted because it was my mistake). She assured me with another coat, it wouldn't be clear anymore. Another coat was put on and it made no difference, so I asked again. I got a NASTY stare, roll of the eyes and a huff. I look forward to getting my nails done and I'm always very courteous to those who are doing the service but it was one of my worst experiences. Two weeks later and my nails looked like they should at five weeks. I went somewhere new to get them fixed. Strongly avoid this salon. read more

I got my nails done at Lovella and I couldn't be more satisfied! I keep my nails short so my biggest pet peeve is when the gel polish is applied too thick and my nails look too bubbly. Customer service was ok, had to wait about 15 minutes in a pedicure chair and more in the manicure chair. Other than that, kind staff and helpful. Unfortunately my nails were unsatisfactory, some appear messy. I suffered through loosing my natural nail and days of pain. As for everything else, I was comfortable and felt very welcomed. One of the girls does an amazing job , she takes her time and honestly she's great with nails but unfortunately I have to give this place a 2 star rating because of my last experience, unfortunately my last time I went there I didn't have an appointment and I just walked in. So they put me with someone else which I understood, however I asked for coffin nails she gave me square nails, I went back another day so they can help me and fix them and they somewhat did give some shape, a few days later most of my nails broke (usually they last a month or 3 weeks, which means that this time they just rushed and didn't do it properly. they have a policy that if a nail breaks within a week they fix it for free) I called to book it and they couldn't take me until 2 days later (after the week passed) so I went back so they can fix it but I still had to pay to get this fixed and It still didn't end up how I wanted. read more

Worst nail salon service I have ever experienced. I had at appointment at 11:45pm with my mom and sister for a mani pedi. They took my mom and sister at 12:15pm. I waited to be taken. At 12:30pm a woman came in as a walk in and asked for a mani pedi and got taken right away. At 12:50pm another woman walked in and asked if they had time for a pedicure. They said yes and she was taken right away. Meanwhile I was still waiting and my mom was done with her pedicure and was waiting to get her nails done. I said something to them and the owner lied saying these other women had appointments. Meanwhile I had an appointment at 11:45am and it was now 1pm. I should have been taken first regardless of appointment or not. If it wasn't bad enough the owner put all customer phone calls on speaker so everyone could hear and made comments after. read more

Emma has magical hands and you just feel like a brand new person even after she just massages your shoulder ever so slightly. My polish started chipping in a day. My technician gave me a pedicure but hen when another customer walked in, he didn't want to make them wait so he had me wait for a manicure. I also ruined one nail while drying and the technician who ended up giving me my manicure only put 1 coat of polish on. No base coat not a second coat of paint and no top coat. read more

I have been going for a while and recently I think there is a drastic change in the level of service. My first issue was on Saturday when I made an appointment for a pedicure with a specific technician when I got there the owner tried to push me off to someone else because Emma was doing a different pedicure probably for a walk in and I said no I specified I wanted Emma. Today I make another appointment just for a manicure and low and behold because of a walk in I sat there till 5 pm for my manicure. The woman was so rude when I said I did have a 4:30 appointment she replied I know have a 4:30 and when someone is finished they will get to u. If I was not pressed for time leaving on vacation I would have walked out. Why make appointments if they r going to be greedy and take all the walk in over their weekly customers. If I could give this place negative stars I honestly would. Cara di, which used to be here, was my go to nail place. I always felt comfortable and loved the staff. Now that they are under new management I figured I would try it out and go. I sit down for a regular pedicure and a gel manicure. A regular pedicure is 20 and a gel manicure is 25. The owner comes up to me and says that they were doing a special and that a Spa pedicure which is usually 45 is 50 including a gel manicure. So I figured I'd rather spend less money for a better pedicure with this deal (as I'm assuming anyone else would.) After my spa pedicure and gel manicure she hands me the receipt that says 70 dollars. I ask her what she's talking about and how that's possible and she says she never told me about any deal. I then am so frustrated I just want to pay and leave and she says "your not going to tip them" after overcharging me 20 extra dollars and lying! Disgusting and ridiculous. I hope that this can steer so many people in the complete opposite direction of this place. read more
