Let me start of saying that this place is beautiful and very clean. Everyone that I encountered was extremely nice and welcoming. Me and my friend decided to give a new nail salon a try and I saw a lot of there instagram posts so I thought why not it looks like they do amazing work. I got a dip powder and my friend just got a regular manicure ( which is free for first time guests) her manicure didn't even last a Day. Later that night she sent me a picture the two nails she got glitter on where completely off and by next day you couldn't even tell she just had a manicure. My nails maybe lasted three days before they started peeling up and chipping. I was told that the dip powder is so much better then acrylic and lasts longer because it is stronger. I decided to try Simply Nails, as I was told they did wonderful work. I had no prior appointment when entering, but when I walked in, I was greeted so kindly and taken immediately. The owner of the salon was beyond sweet and professional, and took her time with fixing my nails to my exact likening. You could tell how passionate she was, and is about her job, and wouldn't let me leave until I was 100% satisfied - and I never felt rushed. If I could give zero stars I would. I tried this place only because all other salons were packed. When I walked in here it was empty (now I know why). Worst manicure I ever had. Would NEVER go back. They don't use sinks for pedicures. Instead they come over with a bucket of water. Kind of gross. Can't imagine this place lasting. Way tooo expensive. Dropped my mom off for a gel manicure. Beautiful salon and the girls were very friendly but my moms nails were painted sloppy. I probably wouldn't come back here...the polish was clearly not carefully applied or whoever painted them had little to no experience. Went there 3 times and each time regretted it. Fist time was rushed and gel powder chipped that night on several fingers. Came back and the owner redid those fingers. Again those nails chipped as well as other ones. I called immediately though and let them know that 48 hours after the original appointment most nails chipped. So now within a week i had to get them redone bc that's the soonest i could get in bc of their hours. I was really trying to give them a shot and rectify it since the girls that work there a lot are young and trained there. Since they knew the situation I expected to pay discounted if anything since it was within a week, I got charged full price. I was shocked especially bc they were opened about a year and trying to build a business still that they did that. Seeing help wanted posts stating no experience necessary was also discouraging. I ended up going to G Nails and it was a much better experience. Update - they called me within the last 2 weeks to come in to get my nails done. When I told them I was extremely dissatisfied with my experience and what happened her excuse was they just opened and weren't properly experienced. I reminded her they were opened over a year at that point. She offered me to come in to get a gel powder manicure for like $5 off. It was a joke! read more

I had seen this nail salon on social media and upon arriving I was pleasantly surprised by the oversized couches! I also really liked that they bring a bowl of water to do a pedicure as it was probably the cleanest pedicure I have had. At the moment they are only doing gel manicures which I was really happy with the way it turned out and find I like gel manicures last longer than the powder. I enjoy coming here, place is nicely set up. They do a great job with the dip powder, Joanna is my girl love when she does my nails she does a great job and is funny. They typically last me about 3 weeks. They are a bit pricey as they have raised their prices. I just wish their hours were a little a tad more flexible although they are opened until 6 pm, doing dip powder you have to be in by 4:45pm is typically the last appointment even on a Saturday. Having a hectic or busy day schedule makes it a little harder to get in. But overall they job a great job, just have to work around their hours. read more

I gave this place three visits. Three strikes and they are out. The first and last visit when my nails were being filed the techs were very rough and I was cut with the file on one finger and sore. I did not say anything the first time but I did go back to quietly speak to the receptionist who called over the owner. I explained what happened and she dismissed it with saying her girls do not cut anyone when filing and then proceeded to tell me I have to get back to my customer. Also said next time you come in I speak to the tech before she does your nails. Well there will not be a next time! The owner was rude and unprofessional! Apparently these nail tech need better training. I've had my nails done for many years and have never been cut by a nail file or had my cuticles sore from the way they were handled. read more

I passed this salon a few times and the girls were inviting people in for free manicures if it was their first time there. I kept this in mind and brought my sister in a couple weeks later, they did an amazing job with her pedicure and powder dip manicure. Since it was her first time there, she received $10 off of her powder dip manicure. They are incredibly clean and they have a lot of knowledge on their products. All of the ladies there are incredibly nice and friendly-they have lounge chairs and they are not your typical nail factory. With that being said, I am someone that religiously gets their nails done and I obsess over my nails. It is the only time I fully relax and enjoy pampering myself. While my sister's nails came out phenomenally (she mixed two colors, got foil design, rhinestone and matte topcoat), sadly mine did not. I did a powder dip manicure (which I get all the time at another salon), I was not fully satisfied with a few different parts of my manicure. My nails were very poorly shaped and pretty uneven, some of my nails were thicker on top because of the powder dip. Unfortunately, because I did a "design" (it was a pattern using different powder dip colors and sparkle) the darker color bled through on the two lighter colors. Since it was my first time there, I received $10 off of my manicure, due to my "design" they charged me a few. I have done pattern nails like this at other salons and they have NEVER tacked on an additional "design fee" so it was a bit strange that this salon did. After leaving the salon I was pretty unhappy with my overall experience, I called back the next day and explained that I didn't like my manicure and I went in and the nail technician filed them down and redid them. Unfortunately, I still did not fall in love with my manicure. I still have very thick nails, there are parts of my nails that do not have dip on them and they are all uneven in length and thickness. After getting them fixed I hoped and expected much better results. I have to say, they are the cleanest salon I have EVER been to, kudos to them for that. As for their dip powder technique, I'm not sure that it is the best fit for me personally. I may give them another shot, but I will definitely have to be more observant while I'm there. read more

I went for the first time last week and had a great experience! Everyone is very nice and the place is beautiful. You are definitely paying for the experience. The seats are amazing and super comfortable. I was a little hesitant to get my nails done due to COVID and I did feel pretty comfortable. The ladies sit next to you and do your nails so they are pretty close to your face. I wish my nail lady was wearing a face shield because I would have definitely felt a little more comfortable. Shocked this place doesn't have 5 stars. By far the best place for a dip powder manicure. Refuse to get my nails done anywhere else since finding this place, I drive here from Huntington and don't mind the drive because they are done perfectly every time. Never have to request a specific technician because all of the girls are incredibly talented with the powder (even when rebuilding broken nails). They are all very meticulous and pay attention to detail. I haven't left with a manicure I didn't love, constantly receive compliments on my nails (they have amazing color choices) and always feel welcome and that my business is appreciated. read more

As we all know, covid shut down nail places and I said to myself as soon as they re-open, I'm getting the best manicure and pedicure money can buy. I was happy to see simply nail was starting to accept reservations on June 12th for their reopening on June 24th. I had such a great experience back in November 2019 so I contemplated leaving my regular nail place of 15 years to become a regular here at simply ongoing. The staff is wonderful, super clean place and good vibes all around and perfect location to grab a cocktail afterwards. I made an appointment on June 12th for July 3rd for dip powder and a eucamint pedicure (again I wanted the best pedicure ever after a 4 month hiatus). The girl who made my appointment was super friendly and explained in depth what the eucamint pedicure consisted of and I was sold! I get a call the week of my appointment to explain they are not doing dip powder due to cleanliness and covid, completely understandable! I said gel manicure was fine. 2 days later I get another call with a voicemail left saying once again they're not going dip powder and if I wanted to rebook a regular manicure AND regular pedicure. I called back and advised the women that I knew about the manicure and I had already spoken to someone but when I verified about the pedicure, she stated they weren't doing special pedicures. "Not because of covid but because it takes too long and there isn't enough time as they're trying to book as many people". WHAT?! This appointment was made more than 2 weeks in advance and the girl who made the appointment is the one who sold me on that eucamint pedicure. How can you tell someone they can't provide you a service because "it takes too long". Not to mention, on their social media pages, they're advertising same day availability. So I'm not too sure where the "it takes too long" comes into play. I was basically asked to cancel my appointment and so I did. Very poor customer service. I'm absolutely love this nail shop. It has the same feel the way it used to have years ago when having a manicure/pedicure was a luxury. I don't feel like I'm in a nail factory. The music is soothing and it is beyond comfortable! The comfort also comes from not being hustled from one seat to another. I totally enjoy sitting in one place to have my hands and feet done. I also love the little cuddly for my bag and charger for my phone. I knew that seems silly but it is something more for me to enjoy. I am so happy to have found this shop. read more

First time getting a pedi there and it has been a while so I was really wanting a relaxing experience. Pros - clean, relaxing, zen environment. Really love the energy of the place and the spa feel. Regular pedi was $23. Good price. Cons - probably just need to try a different technician, but she kept hurting me when she was trimming my cuticles and then when it came time for the massage I asked for more pressure. Got it for about five seconds and then back to the light touch. Didnt want to be annoying by repeatedly asking so I just let it go but it was disappointing. Lastly...that awesome feeling when you look down at your feet to see nice new pretty toes? Didn't happen. Maybe it was the color? I dont know I will definitely go back just with a more experienced tech. read more

I went about a week ago on a Saturday. I am recently just moved to the town and was looking for a new nail salon. I really appreciated, that online they were highly focused on hygiene. As a cosmetologist that's something I really look for in a nail salon. They had a deal going on that for your first visit, your manicure was free. I knew that they were having that to train any of the new technicians. The salon was very pretty, but this was the first time I have ever been to a nail salon that didn't have the pedicure chairs. Instead you sat on a loveseat and place your feet In a plastic bucket of water water for maybe 5 mins. I don't know about you, but I love getting pedicures for the experience of the massage chair and the pedicure bath. So that was something off the back I didn't like. I ask for a manicure and pedicure. Of course, like I suspected I had a new nail technician. She was very nice but was very very slow. She barely filled my toenails, and gave me a the weakest foot massage I i had ever received. As being a cosmetologist I still gave her the benefit of the doubt. The manicure was the worst part. :( After I explained to her three times I wanted my naIils rounded, she kept making them square. I naturally have long thick nails, and the more she filed the shorter they were getting. It got to a point I just told her "yeah they are fine"", because I didn't want to loose any more length. She didn't buff them down and my nails were jagged all along the free edge. She did push back my cuticle but they are all uneven. I could feel that my nails were very thin along the sidewall.... Again, I didn't want to be rude because I could tell she was new. So I let her continue. For a manicure/pedicure I was in the nail salon for 1 hour and 45 mins. I was one of the last people there even though I got there before half the people thAt finished before me. I tipped her very well and said have a goodnight. When I got home all of my nails weren't fully painted. She didn't paint the sides of all my nails. I had to re-file the shape of them too. By day 2 of my fresh manicure, 4 out of my 10 nails completely cracked and broke. I have never had so many nails break after getting them done. I felt bad messaging the business when I knew my manicure was free. But I wanted any new customers to be aware of their "free manicure". I will not be coming back, and will have to look else where. I wish they would make it known that they use the free manicuring for training for new technicians. I think that's a great idea, but I had an event to go to and I take care of my long nails and I am very upset that so many of them broke :( read more

The girls always do a great job on my nails (especially Joanna and Celine) but they are all SUPER nice! I never leave hating my nails and I've been going there on a regular basis since July. If I could give today's experience zero stars I would. I have been here twice before today, but this will be my last experience. My nail technician cut my pinky and it started to bleed a lot. I was never offered a bandage. Instead, the technician rubbed acetone all over my finger which burned horribly. The bleeding did not stop. Long story short, the technician proceeded to file my nail which opened up the cut again, when she went to go at my finger with the cuticle cutter I almost lost it. As my experience continued, I got cut two more times. The icing on the cake was when I went to pay the comp was down so I couldn't use a card. I told the receptionist about my experience. She apologized. I didn't have cash. I was told to go to the bank and withdraw money or come back later and pay. You would think with my horrible experience she would have said don't worry about it I'm so sorry. Nope, all she did when I finally got my boyfriend to drop off money was say she was taking off 10$. I was beyond aggravated and found this whole experience to be unprofessional and I let her know that. For a place that prides themselves on being clean, I have to say this was the most unsanitary experience. There is a dip powder there floating around with my dried blood in it. When I got home, examined my hands, and washed them with soap, I felt burning on a lot of my fingers. I noticed cuts and tiny scrapes on most of my fingers. This was the worst experience I've had in a nail salon in my life. And I notice I'm not the first review that comments on being cut here. If you care about your body and want a professional experience, I suggest you DON'T come here. read more

They claim they are open till 6:00 on Wednesdays, but the woman who was doing my nails was rushing once the clock hit 5:00. The other employees were cleaning LOUDLY and packing up by 5:00 as well after the woman who was in charge left. Me and my boyfriend were the only two people left getting our nails done but I found it extremely rude and I was very uncomfortable because they were acting as though we were a burden. I got my nails done yesterday and one is already broken. My nails were all crooked and I had to file them myself when I got home because they were all different shapes because the woman was rushing because she wanted to leave. I live in the area and I thought that this would be a great new place for me to try out. I usually do gel on my nails. I walked in in the first week or two that they were open. Very friendly and clean atmosphere. I really enjoyed the decor and the warmed lotion. I loved how you can store your bag in the seat and charge your devices at the same time. I also got a tour of the place which was really nice. One person had started on my nails and then another women came to actually paint my nails. However, the second women was very tough on my cuticles and cut them all up. I asked for my nails to be cut but they were cut crooked and even rough on the edges. I understand that they were new but this should not be happening especially if this is a new salon. I definitely see potential of this salon being very good but I was not pleased with my experience. read more

I will start off by saying they do have a very good color selection and sick designs. I got the White with chrome and they came out amazing. When I first walked in the lady at the front desk was super friendly and walked us to our seats. Another lady walked over and soaked our nails to get our dip polish off. That lady went to work on my friend and another lady came over to me. My nails were soaking for maybe two minutes when she took the foil off and began buffing and filing them down. She took out the polish to begin and there was SO much leftover dip in my nails. I was like wait there's still left over on there. She then proceeds to tell me that's my nail and asks me "you don't think that's off" I look at my nails, take off a piece of the leftover dip, and reply "no that's not my nails". I tell her i don't think they were soaked long enough so she soaked them again and walks away to work on somebody else. Another lady came over, third of the morning, to finish my nails and put on the dip. She did a great job. The phone then rings and she walks away and the fourth lady of the day comes over to put on the chrome finish. She did a very good job finishing them off and I am extremely thrilled to be done and leave. I am pleased with my manicure, except for the fact that I was not informed a chrome finish is priced as a design on each nail, and being that it was my first time I felt that I was taken advantage off. $10 off your first manicure sounds nice until it comes out to be a $60 manicure because of the chrome finish, Which i didn't know. Also left with extremely sore nail beds and was cut on my cuticles and bled on three different nails. These ladies are definitely inexperienced and they should be trained better. 0/10 would recommend. read more

I only get waxing services at this place, so this review is solely for that. I typically get brazilians and leg waxing and the ladies are super fast & almost painless. Very clean rooms, but a little small. Nonetheless I would totally recommend getting waxed! read more

For a $23 pedicure I expected something a little more than your average $15 pedicure. Sadly to say I will not be returning. I'll stick to my $15 pedicures elsewhere in the village. The chairs I did not find that comfortable, the way they position your leg on their little stools for polishing was also not comfortable. My legs kept getting cramped. The massage I barely felt at all. And the final product of the pedicure was not good. The polish was not put on evenly at all. Some parts of the nail are dark and some are light. And I had polish on my big toes that should have been wiped off. Very disappointed in the service here. read more

I was excited to go here. Seems very pretty, and very nice staff. But in the grand scheme of it all, you're going there for a service. I went to get a new acrylic set, and it took three hours not that I was in a rush or anything but that was a little bit Ridiculous. I had different people do my nails and the owner of the store was so nice but she did not know how to do acrylics at all and it was very surprising when she told me she was the owner she made them very blotchy too thick. I have experience with acrylic, and it was like she had no idea what she was doing. She put way too much in the wrong areas, anc i just wanted to leave after 3 hours. I had to go home and shape them so they don't look bulky and all mis-formed. I have a picture attached so you can actually see you so you know I'm not exaggerating. Very dissapointed! I wanted to love it :( oh well! Don't waste your money for crappy service. Also, it was no cheap, so you should get what you pay for... here, it is not the place! read more

The place was very clean and nice girls but i won't go back. I do a better job myself. The girl was more worried about not messing up her fake nails that she didn't bother to clean the sides of my nails or make sure the edges of the nails had been painted evenly. The place is super clean, really friendly and accommodating staff. It's different then most salons, they seat you in big cushion chairs and bring a foot bath of water to you. I felt like the staff was a little under experienced, at least the girl who did my nails was. She went a little too crazy on my cuticles and fingers and toes were sore after, with some cuts. Overall not really sure it was worth the price. I don't mind paying more if I feel at the end I'm getting my money's worth, but I really didn't. They only do one kind of pedicure and they charge the same amount of not more then other places do for specialty ones. There's so many other places that are good I don't know if I would bother to go back. read more
