She's an absolute gem! The sweetest. My friend recommended her and I understand why. She takes her time and happily chats with you while you're there. I wanted to do something Christmasy and she delivered! The gel sits well on my nails and doesn't have the huge thick feeling most gel does. I deal with patients all day long so I cant have long or cumbersome nails and she hit the nail on the head, not too short, not too long. I will absolutely be going here from now on. Definitely book an appointment ahead of time! (I wish I could take a better picture but heres a glimpse!)

Marisela is crazy good at nails!! Like insanely crazy good!! I tried Gelish, which is a new pr (combination of gel and acrylic) and my nails have never looked this good. I was completely happy with my SNS dip powder manicure with Marisela! I had gotten one while in CA several weeks prior and it was time for removal / reapplication. I am a busy mom of two. My son is super involved in sports and decided maybe I can get my nails done during lunch since I have to squish my stu. I work in the building next store. I found her on yelp and decided to ask if she could get me in. She was able to get me in right away which is always a plus. I have always gone to crazy busy nail salons where even if you have an appointment you might have to wait 30 minutes. She was so happy to have me as a customer and was a pleasure to talk to. I always love hearing people's stories. She just recently took the leap to do nails full time and I admire that. She really took her time on my nails and did an amazing time. I will be back. She messaged me and told me that it would cost extra for shape and length of my acrylics. I had never heard of this before as I am not from this area so I asked why this is. She was not only rude in response but slightly degrading. I will not recommend this place due to the lack of customer service. I was extremely let down before even stepping foot into the place. Simply Artistic Nails is a dream come true, now home-based. I've been passionate about nails for quite some time and I'm happy to now have a space I can call my own. Nothing gives me more pleasure than happy satisfied customers. My ultimate goal is for you to walk out loving your nails! I have learned several techniques throughout the years, sculpting both acrylic and polygel, encapsulated AKA permanent design, 3D, stamping, chrome, etc. Keeping up with the new trends in the "nail world" is a must! I follow great nail artists from around the world and always learning new techniques. It's important for me to treat my clients with the highest quality products and upmost respect. Meet the Business Owner: Marisela E.

Born in Mexico (Chih) raised in San Jose, CA. I moved to Arizona in 1989 loved it and stayed. My love and passion for nails comes from my daughter, she loved to get her nails done but as a single mom it was hard to keep up with them so that inspired me to learn. My first class was in Mexico and I loved the endless disigns and creations so I decided to go to school and graduated from the best nail school, Academy of Nail Technology here in AZ and the rest is history.

When I came the next day still not fixed. They used electric kettle to heat foot bath for pedicure. Mine was still cold but my husband was decently warm. Overall the pedicure was well done but I wanted more chemical on my feet for the calluses remover. Further my massage chair lost power 15 minutes into the service, because someone was working on the electrical. My husband's chair was not affected. My pedicure person was unable to move my chair also during this to do my feet. Since the pedicures were just okay, we left before the manicure. Opted to go to nearby bar for Happy Hour instead. It also appeared that we would have a substantial wait for manicure since they were overbooked. This place is nearby and I wanted to love it but I am gonna check some other places nearby for future mani/pedi. It could be a one off because of water issue and Easter weekend.

I don't think she even oiled my cuticles. I have paid a bit more at the larger places ($29 here, $34 there) but the experience was definitely worth a few bucks more.
