After 7 years of fake lashes, I went to get my lashes filled and had the scariest and worst experience! Don't let this happen to you... First, the lady GLUED MY LEFT EYE SHUT. She kept apologizing and frantically working to unglue the top and bottom left eyelids so I could open my eye. If that's not a red flag I don't know what is. Multiple times she hurt me with her tools and I told her it hurt but she kept apologizing and then doing it again until I had to tell her to stop. That night, I woke up in the middle of the night with pain in my left eye and realized it was bc she somehow glued some lower corner lashes to the top which I had to rip out to relieve the pain. I tried to call the next morning but it was a Monday and they were closed and my flight home was that evening. She used so much glue that it ripped out a lot of my natural lashes. To make matters worse, no one will lash me now that I have very few natural lashes left and the ones that are left are too damaged so I'm stuck with barely any real lashes left after SEVEN years of fake lashes (basically my biggest fear). I called the shop to explain my experience and tell them they should not be lashing without more training since I've never had any of these issues in the last 7 years) but the manager was not hearing it. Please don't let this happen to you... I'll be avoiding everyone until they grow back :( read more

My friends and I were treated so disrespectfully here I must share my experience and warn others. I proactively scheduled manicure AND pedicure appointments for my friend's bridal party and I even called a few times to change the time once and to add an additional person to our reservation. Each time, I confirmed manicure and pedicure on the phone. I also explained this was for a wedding and so it needs to be extra nice and special. I was first in my party to arrive and they told me to sign in. When I did, I wrote my name and put - manicure and pedicure - in the booklet. One thing I found odd was that a woman was waiting at the front and because she was late to her appointment, they refused her same-day service. It was weird because the door clearly states "walk-ins welcome." The lady explained she thought she would be able to make it but that she works at school all the way in San Tan Valley and traffic was horrendous. They said she would have to come back for an appointment Sunday. This was my first warning sign they are not customer-oriented. The rest of our party arrived 15 minutes later than our scheduled appointment. Everyone signed in for manicures and pedicures and they got us in pedicure chairs fairly quickly. We discussed what we wanted and showed them pictures of designs we wanted for both nails and feet. My pedicure was pretty good but the man wasn't able to do the ombré look on my toes - so the owner came and dabbed some glitter polish on the tips. I explained I didn't think it looked very professional. Could she spruce it up? Add a French manicure line? She argued saying she'd have to redo my nails if I wanted to have a white French tip. I asked her to please try it on top of the glitter. I do my own nails all the time so I knew it was possible. I liked it and so I asked her to please do the rest. She started painting the white line on the tips over the glitter on each toe - and after doing about 3 nails she said "oh by the way this is going to be an extra $15" What?! I added and changed things as we went but as I did, explaining the up-charges would have been nice to know as we were discussing the designs. I told her "wow I wish you told me this as we were discussing it rather than after you painted a bunch of my toes." She said "oh well I can just take it all off..." OMG, really?! I completely understand up-charging for a French manicure. Drawing a thin white line on the edge of each toe nail is oh so taxing (not really). But I am a reasonable person and I know they tend to charge more for that. But tell me beforehand. And, charging for throwing some glitter polish on a toe which you call "ombré" is ridiculous. Telling me after doing several toes and your solution is to take off ALL my polish? RUDE! I took a deep breath and explained "look, it's my friend's wedding. Can you please just finish doing this." The owner passed me off to a third nail tech to finish my nails. She was not nice of apologetic. The final occurrence really set me over the edge. We all found it a little odd they hadn't started on our fingernails but assumed it was because they were busy. But when we finished our pedicures and asked when our fingernails would get done, they said oh you don't have appointments for that so you can't get them done. Here we are, a bridal party of course we want our finger nails done! I made a reservation for it AND we signed in at the front for manis/pedis. If you don't check the book, what the heck is the point of having people sign in?? Additionally, we had already talked to our nail techs about what we wanted done! They argued and blamed me that I only made appointments for pedicures. Unbelievable. At this point, most business owners would have taken responsibility and tried to be accommodating. But not this owner. She continued to work on someone else's nails and sent another worker over to tell us we couldn't get them done. As we got ready to walk out, the owner yelled "we can do your nails, you will just have to wait 40 minutes." Yeah, thanks. We'll pass. This owner lost 100's of dollars of our business all because she was so rude, unapologetic and unaccommodating. I am certain I made the reservation for manicures and pedicures. Is it so entirely impossible your employee could have made an error? Whatever happened to "the customer is always right?" The way we were treated was truly disgusting. If she keeps treating her customers this way, I guarantee she won't be in business for very long. I hope she realizes her attitude was wrong and this is no way to treat customers or human beings in general. Thankfully we found an AWESOME nail shop less than 5 minutes south on McClintock. They were busy and gladly accepted our business, even at the end of the day. We got in right away and the owner was super welcoming. I know where I will be going and telling all of my friends to go - and not go- in the future! read more

The appointment was at 5 they texted at five and switched it to 5:20. Because they wanted two people available to do our nails. We agreed and waited. Come back three hours later, showed exactly what i wanted and was told to get ombre i had to get dip because one of their tools broke, so I asked if it would look exactly the same, They said yes. My sister never said "all she wants is the full set" she knew I specifically wouldnt get it if it wasnt ombre i expressed it many times. Lady started my nails and said "blue ombre?" I said yes. Waiting and waiting for her to start adding the ombre and not ever having got dip before didnt know the process. They asked me to pay while i was still getting my nails done, TOLD MY SISTER IT WAS BC THE MACHINE WAS DOWN?? yet my sister got to pay later and it worked perfectly fine. then she literally never did ombre. When we complained she said her manager told her to only give me color because ombre is $70? And they said to come back and pay the extra $30 for ombre. No refund or offer to fix for free even tho i payed before seeing final product and left a $35 tip on top of a $55 total. Now they are claiming they NEVER said ombre was an option. Worst experience pretty uncomfortable that a business owner just lies and lies and lies to their clients instead of trying to be accommodating at all. They have a new array of pedicure selections that are very pleasant and relaxing. Plus, get a gander at the gel job that Anthony did on my wife. Fabulous work for our upcoming trip to Los Angeles. If you are concerned when having a gel manicure as to whether or not you can get a matching regular color for you toes, they have a spectrum of matching gel/regular colors that you can pick from. As I wrote in my previous review, my wife is PICKY about her nails. This place is the best we have found so far in the Valley. If you're picky, you might just find these folks to your liking. So I'm a very cautious person when it comes to my nails, I nit pick unfortunately and i'm hesitant with nail salons so I gave this one a try, and I was absolutely amazed with how great they turned out I went every two weeks religiously for two years and I became a regular but then it got to a point where they would all talk to me and it was like just because I went all the time they could just do a crappy job and I wouldn't notice. There was a lady who did my nails almost every time I went and her attitude was absolutely horrible each time, and every single time I was disappointed. There was a time I went and got a pedicure and I was 9 months pregnant and she burned my foot with the hot stone and barely touched my feet/massaged them. Which was a huge disappointment! There were times I was happy! Q and Calvin we're definitely the best nail technicians!! I stopped going there because i'm not going to pay people to not do their job right. The service wasn't bad (hence the 2 stars)...BUT I asked for one thing and I feel that paying 33 dollars PLUS tip (which btw, I was asked to pay BEFORE he was done) wasn't worth it. My nails don't look like what I wanted... after I paid, the looked worse... I asked for more nail polish for the right hand and he didn't see that it's lighter. Side view looks horrible and the look extremely rough instead of smooth. Update: I went back because the nails looked so gross. After waiting for an HOUR they just took off top coat and put a fresh coat. It could be worse. Be careful when you go and sit in the waiting area, they'll skip you and put other people in front of you or sit you at the nail area and leave you waiting there for another half hour before they help the person that came in AFTER you first. It took 2 minutes for her to re-do the top coat... I didn't need to be waiting there for an HOUR!!! read more
