She has an energy about her that is very comfortable and makes you forget that you are half naked in a room with someone you truly don't know very well. She holds a great conversation and is very knowledgeable about her skill. Today, for the first time in over five years, I had my hair done. I've been wanting to have a perm done for a very long time and I'm so grateful I went to Alyssa's mom, Abby. Abby was also very quick and gentle. Her attention to detail, making sure to catch all my, "baby hairs," and fly away hairs so ever strand was curly. She offered to get me anything I could need while treating my hair and taught me how to take care of my new hair and what products and tools would be best for me specifically as I rarely brush or style my hair and I will only use cruelty free and/ or vegan products. I set up an appointment with Derrick to have some skin tags removed and he did an outstanding job. I was very pleased with the results. I have gone to several dermatologists in the past and they try and burn skin tags off and this method does not work for my skin in addition to leaving me scarred. Allure/Derrick takes a different approach and has the latest technology to do this properly, painlessly with no scarring. Derrick noticed a couple of areas where I had radiation for suspicious skin Cancer (performed by a dermatologist which left the skin lighter on my chest and darker on my leg) and a cyst they removed that left a raised scar. Derrick suggested laser and said one treatment may be all I need to fade these areas. I have seat up this laser appointment with fingers crossed that his skills and experience will fade the marks and reduce the ugly scar. read more
