She had an outstanding personality that made me really comfortable which is great since it's a fairly intimate service (depending on what you're there for). The facility was extremely well kept and clean. The only reason I didn't rate a full 5 stars is because I did discover a few spots hair was left when I got home. When paying the higher costs for the service, I wouldn't expect to find any missed patches and there were a few. Overall, I'd give them another try due to the friendly and comfortable atmosphere. If I walk away again with missed patches, at that point I'll explore other options for waxes but I'm optimistic that next go around will be better.

COURTNEY is arrogant, dismissive, and completely incapable of taking accountability or resolving even the simplest customer concerns. Instead of de-escalating situations, COURTNEY makes them worse. It's shocking that someone with such poor customer service and leadership skills is managing a business built on client relationships. This location has destroyed the reputation of a brand I was once happy to support. Corporate should take a serious look at what's happening here because this center is driving away long-term, loyal customers. I expect someone from corporate to contact me and explain how a location can decline this dramatically.

Therefore, I researched the waxers on staff and saw that Alicia had gotten outstanding reviews, and specifically concerning my needs, and I have been going to her ever since. Alicia does so well, I recommended my best friend to go to her, since his girlfriend likes his face completely smooth, but, his beard grows in like mine, and her tips from each of us far exceed the paltry percentage she gets per customer from EWC. European Wax offers year long passes, where customers can go as often as necessary, and I since I need to go every two weeks to minimize the how much hair is being pulled at one time, I started getting those, since it would save a lot of money. I have five months left before the current year is up. My best friend also bought a year pass, after experiencing Alicia's skills and the lasting results. In the time I have been going to this location, the store has gone through SEVEN managers, with the latest one being Courtney, who has been there a month and a half. And now, Alicia is fired. Funny how the SIX managers BEFORE Courtney, did not fire Alicia, so, it should not take a rocket scientist to figure out who is the problem. Since my waxer is gone, one I trusted and counted on to do the job right (and we always have a great rapport), and I hold those in charge of the store, above the manager level, responsible, I will NOT be coming back to European Wax Centers, ever, for my business. I also want the balance of my pass fees refunded. When I talked to Courtney, she said she could only give me store credit. When I asked to for the corporate number, she said that the location was a franchise, so there is no corporate tie. After some digging, I called Courtney back and asked to speak to her bosses, Lauren and Jacqueline. She said she would pass the message. After not hearing back from either of them, I went into the store and asked her in person for their numbers. She said she could not give out the numbers, but, had left a message with them about my, "concerns". Later, she called me back and claimed that I had gone enough times that there would not be any prorate left on the balance. I do not appreciate European Wax Center for bouncing Courtney from the San Tan Village location to the Tempe Market Place location, because she could not work and play well with others, there (funny thing about the internet, things of record NEVER go away), and I do not appreciate Courtney for firing Alicia when six other managers prior had the management skills to not fire her, nor do I appreciate her gatekeeping the contact information for her bosses. But, that's ok, I will find it and let them know what I think.

About 3 years ago, I wanted to get permanent eyeliner. I was very nervous about this procedure, but was willing to pay extra in order to get good results. A friend referred me to Joe who has a great reputation. The pigment did not hold well on my skin (not his fault), so after each appointment, Joe told me to come back again until we got it perfect. I returned 4 times and finally left, completely happy. I absolutely love my eyeliner. It looks so natural and right now, they still look amazing. The color and way he did them is exactly what I wanted. I then heard about Brittany, who does eyelash extensions. I only had eyelashes done from one other person and they always fell out 7-10 days later. I tried Brittany out and she truly is amazing. Her lashes lasted me 3-4 weeks and were reasonably priced. I went to her for about a year, but live 2 hours away, so, unfortunately had to quit making the drive. I then went to Derrick, who does microblading. I 100% trust this salon so instantly knew I would go to him because everyone in the salon is great. He took his time drawing on my brows, making sure they were exactly what I wanted. The color was the tricky part because I am a red head. However, they turned out amazing! It has been a few months and the color has faded more than I hoped, but all in all, I am pleased with the procedure. I will definitely return there for my touch-ups and any other large procedure! The salon is clean, the customer service is great, and they are very professional and care about their customers. I would recommend Allure to anyone! read more

I've been doing electrolysis sessions the last few months with Derrick, and I absolutely recommend him and the entire practice for anyone looking to get cosmetic or skincare procedures done. The entire experience has actually been joyful! I'm not accustomed to cosmetic procedures and am a bare-minimum kind of person when it comes to vanity (no judgement to the beautiful glam queens of the universe whatsoever), but I often felt super judged at other places I've tried for hair removal/dermatology. The vibe at Allure is the opposite - positive and open, and they answer questions with accessible information. I actually found this practice by chance, knowing I was taking a plunge buying a groupon but that removing facial hair is vital, I went for it. I could not have been luckier! This business is family owned/operated, and they are so incredibly chill and helpful with scheduling, cancellation, and sending you home with sample sized care creams etc. Derrick is always honest with his pricing, very professional/highly trained, and friendly! Which is extra nice during painful and potentially awkward procedures (electrolysis is painful literally no matter what, just the nature of the treatment). Also, the office itself is clean, welcoming, and organized. I've been searching for a place I trust for awhile, and this is it! I have been going to Allure since sometime in 2012. It started with laser hair removal on my legs and branched into laser hair removal on other areas, then chemical peels, cool peels, microdermabrasions, dermaplaning, facials, hydrafacials, massage, you name it. I moved away almost 2 1/2 years ago, and I have missed Allure so bad, including Brittany and Derek. They are the best. They have your best interest in mind. They do a fantastic job. I happen to be in town right now after having moved away 2 1/2 years ago, and I immediately booked an appointment at Allure for a hydrafacial. And it was a wonderful hydrafacial. I look great, I feel great, and it was wonderful to see Brittany and Derek after such a long time. There's always a family atmosphere and a friendly and welcoming vibe, and they are always genuinely thankful for their customers. Darian at the front desk was new to me after having been away for so long, but she is a bright and lovely girl who was very nice to interact with. I highly recommend Allure. I've never once had a bad experience and I appreciate them so much and how they have taken care of me so well over the years. I am a 30-year-old female who suffered from cystic acne, acne scars and melasma (patches of dark skin that appear on areas on the face). I had microdermabrasion, dermapen, and a chemical peel done on my face two weeks ago. To say that I am satisfied would be an understatement. I am thrilled with my results. I had the pleasure of Brittany working on me who is an excellent esthetician. She is very knowledgeable about the products she used and has extreme professional bedside manner. The procedures were not painful there was a little stinging sensation but that's normal after getting chemical peels. My face was red for a day and a half and peeled for a few more days after but again that is to be expected especially after a chemical peel. Being Middle Eastern / European. The hair on my face was about an inch long and course. I have lived that on my face for well over 35 years. I have tried various medical treatments, creams blah blah blah... Nothing worked! Allure Infinite Beauty was recommended to me by a good friend. Having course hair and nothing else before worked. OH MY GOODNESS! After the first laser treatment & electrolysis, some of the hair took. Then the second treatment more hair was permentently removed. I had a third treatment and all the long hair is now gone. My family couldnt believe what my face looked like when they saw me for the first time since the removal of the hair. I was nervous going in for the first time and she made me feel very comfortable. I chose Allure based on past Yelp reviews. I was not disappointed! I started with Derek for eyebrow microblading. I have very fine, blond eyebrows and I'm beyond tired of either not having visible eyebrows or having to put on makeup to feel like I don't look like a chemo patient. Derek took his time to find the right shade and shape for my face and I absolutely love the result. Next I saw Brittany for the Ultimate Facial. She educated me on what she was doing and what was happening with my skin. I liked the results so much that I bought a facial package and just had my first of the package. As I stepped through the door, I had 58-year-old skin that had seen the harshness of sun, nicotine, and alcohol. Currently, most people estimate my age to be about 60. Everyone is so nice & willing to go above & beyond. I've had a few visits to hospitals & everyone tells me they LOVE my lashes. I tell them about Allure & usually carry extra business cards to hand out. I just got another compliment tonight & fortunately I had an extra card. I feel like I have makeup on every day & it's just my beautiful lashes. I recommend them to anyone who wants lashes, eyebrow & permanent eyeliner. Derrick is great. He does a very professional job on permanent eye liner. I am not able to wear eye liner due to my allergies and have always though about having the liner tattooed on. I asked other people for referrals and a friend gave me Derricks name. An appointment was super easy to get. I have other tattoos but was nervous about having the tattoo gun up close by my eye. Derrick jokes with you and makes you very comfortable so the nervousness goes away. He did a fantastic job. I came across this place through Groupon, and started with Derek and had never had electrolysis or laser before. They were always on time, everyone is so nice, and the environment is very comfortable and safe feeling. I had long sessions and lots of time to talk to Derek. He is a great conversationalist and listener. The reason for 4/5 stars is that after my Groupon was over, I went to a (more pricey) place closer to my house. I'm not sure if the new place had newer machines or just a different type, but both were less painful and caused less skin reaction. know those machines are crazy expensive, so I don't want to fault Allure for that. read more

I have permanent eyeliner top and bottom. Today, I had my bottom eyelash lines touched up (4 weeks ago my upper eyelash lines were done). Amazing, they look amazing!!! Fast and as close to pain free as one can get having a tattoo done. On both occasions little to no swelling or pain after. I've always battled with non existent eye brows as I've gotten older. I decided to look into microblading but after consulting with Taylor we decided to go with a permanent tattoo instead and I couldn't be happier! She took the time to find the right shade, shape and fading that fit my face without looking like makeup. These photos are right before and after. The color looks a little dark due to being new and some bruising which will lighten in a few days and the recovery is super easy compared to microblading. I highly recommend you Allure! read more

First off I just want to say the staff is so nice!! I had my first Brazilian wax today at Allure, needless to say I was super nervous being spread eagle in front of a stranger.The esthetician Brittany was so nice and kept talking to me through out the wax to distract me from the reality of my hair being ripped out lol. I've been going to Allure for almost 20 years. I've seen Debbie, Brittany, and Joe for various skin care services (waxing, microdermabrasion, chemical peals, facials, skin tag removal). Joe also pierced by 9-year old daughter's ears. The service has always been phenomenal, the staff is professional and so welcoming, and the prices reasonable - which is why I have continued to go there for so long. I chose a product, she talked me through the entire process, and I went home bee stung but excited. A few days later, the results kicked in and any misgivings or prejudice I once had about injectibles disappeared right along with my forehead lines. I turned 34 this past weekend and, with Cindi's help, those forehead and between the brow wrinkles are yet to make any additional progress as wrinkles. My greatest weapon has largely been Dysport. Every 6-8 months I make an appointment to see Cindi, Dysport up, and confidently go back out into the world. Over the past 4 years I've also partaken in a few lovely Hydrafacials and a Dermaplaning appointment with Jacqueline. Cindi and I have experimented with lip fillers and a botox lip flip. My metabolism is such that the lip fillers don't seem to last very long (a few months at best) but it's a huge confidence boost when I do go for that splurge and am able to rock the full voluptuous pout that I always want. I'm going for such a splurge again tomorrow, and am looking forward to it. I suspect the next appointment after this one will be ahead of my wedding later this Fall.
