I first started going to Stellar Skin and Laser a few days before my 30th birthday. I'd never had botox before but was interested as I was saying goodbye to my 20's, and wanted to slow the deep wrinkles I saw forming between my eyebrows and on my forehead. My father has the exact same wrinkles, and I knew they would get deep quickly. How a woman regards the changes in her body as she ages is a very personal process. Some of us do everything they can to fight it, others age with pride. Personally, I just wanted to be able to continue going out without makeup on and still feel confident in my own naked skin. I do not operate under the impression that I can (or should) do everything in my power to hold onto my youth... But I do want to retain that confidence that comes with feeling fresh faced. So my journey into the world of Medspa's was with the hope that I can do some minor preventative care. So on my first visit I had a consult with Cindi. She asked what and where my concerns were. She then explained what my options were and thoroughly detailed how all of the different products work. I chose a product, she talked me through the entire process, and I went home bee stung but excited. A few days later, the results kicked in and any misgivings or prejudice I once had about injectibles disappeared right along with my forehead lines. I turned 34 this past weekend and, with Cindi's help, those forehead and between the brow wrinkles are yet to make any additional progress as wrinkles. My greatest weapon has largely been Dysport. Every 6-8 months I make an appointment to see Cindi, Dysport up, and confidently go back out into the world. Over the past 4 years I've also partaken in a few lovely Hydrafacials and a Dermaplaning appointment with Jacqueline. Cindi and I have experimented with lip fillers and a botox lip flip. My metabolism is such that the lip fillers don't seem to last very long (a few months at best) but it's a huge confidence boost when I do go for that splurge and am able to rock the full voluptuous pout that I always want. I'm going for such a splurge again tomorrow, and am looking forward to it. I suspect the next appointment after this one will be ahead of my wedding later this Fall. Run the other way!! I had a plasma pen treatment done by Cindi on 1/29. I am about 5 weeks out and have post inflammatory hyperpigmentation in the area. I became very worried at 2 weeks and made a 2nd phone call to inquire about healing. Lauren told me to come in to see Cindi. I went in Friday and she was sick and saw Lauren and Jacqueline. They were very quiet when they saw my face. I asked if they could text her now to show her. Cindi called right away and J took the call in another room. I was given some little jars of serums to put on and told to call in a week or 2. I asked if they had seen this and they said no. The story is too long to tell but Cindi never called, apologized or has acted concerned. When I went in at 3 weeks to see her, she never looked at my face. She talked to me about how she changed her waiver to include more things, is getting smaller probes to use around the eye, is now using a healing serum for after care, and is having everyone come back 7-10 days later. Those are all good things, however my procedure was done before. I asked her about my face and I said this is not normal. She said it was normal, just rare and how my skin was healing... that she's a nurse and she knows about healing from a medical standpoint. She had minimal experience doing the procedure. She posted a pic on her facebook page saying her sister was her guinea pig on Feb 3 which was 5 days after my procedure which I paid $600 for. This is a very new procedure so please do your research if it's something you are interested in and ask questions. I wish I had asked more. The other technicians I have reached out to said they practiced many months before performing on clients. Cindi is adamant she did nothing wrong. Even if she didn't I feel my outcome has been very stressful and she has not showed any compassion. She would not offer a refund and said she'd offer one only if I signed a paper from her attorney saying she was not responsible for further treatments or the outcome. This has been a nightmare. These pics are of me 4 1/2 weeks after treatment Just an update. I have been in contact with the head of Love Beauty Medical. They are the medical device company who sold Cindi her plasma pen and provided her training. I was told she is NOT allowed to order any more probes, must go back to training and have her work Reviewed before she is sold any more probes and continue treatment. They have seen my pictures. I have sent them on to the UK to Louise Walsh International as well. I disputed my charge with my credit card company and they are investigating for a refund. I have been in contact with 4 estheticians who do this treatment. One is also a trainer in the treatment. All were horrified at the burns on my face. 2 of them were trained by Louise Walsh ( this is the pen) Both we're so shocked that they contacted the company in the UK Cindi did finally offer to cut me a check since it was past refund time on the CC . As to Cindi's claim I went on vacation --. I went to Disneyland 3 1/2 weeks after, used full sun block , and wore sunglasses. I was not told I needed to hide inside for 12 weeks. My pictures at 2 weeks out show hyperpigmentation ( this is way before my trip to Disney) - why is Cindi using her sister as a guinea pig 5 days after I was treated? Why is Love Beauty Medical ( the company where she purchased her pen from and did her training not allowing her to get more probes until she goes back to training and has her work reviewed by them? Here are pics 2 weeks out. You can see the burns on my face. I had not been on vacation-- Cindi is reaching for anything to avoid responsibility. I couldn't even leave my house at 2 weeks because I looked like this. Also 7-10 days is normal recovery time- Bottom line is she had minimal training in this very new procedure and it can cause a lot of damage if not done correctly. read more

Please make sure they are using the right kind of laser equipment . I got second degree laser burns by Cindi, and the pigmentation has been permanently lifted from my skin. Had to go to urgent care/miss days from work as the pain was unbearable with boils all over my legs. Was advised by urgent care to start antibiotics as they wanted to avoid any chances of an infection.Also had to take prescription pain meds as I could not have anything touching the burnt parts. I have been permanently scarred all over my legs. I also did not hear back for over 12 days after repeated calls/texts and emails. I finally received an email back saying she was waiting back to hear from the laser company as to what could have happened. Not much in terms of empathy or concern. Please do your homework before you start your treatment. Just because someone is licensed does not mean that they are skilled or experienced. Horrible Service!! Recently purchased HCG and was given wrong dose, went back to get the correct dosage and was given EXPIRED medication hidden under their label. When I went back 3rd time and asked for refund they had no record of my CASH payment of $350 (imagine that... they pocketed the cash).
