I'm very upset I forgot to catch the name of my nail technician, but that was the most care and most gentle experience I've had in a really long time. Usually nail technicians get a little rough at the cuticle clean up, but she was soooooo soft. She was also very precise, efficient and calm. Thank you for the experience! read more

But I really wanted to try something different and I am completely in love with them they took their time and made sure I liked it before we left. I like coming to this place because I always receive great customer service. When I got there around 2:30 there wasn't a wait so I was able to get serviced really quickly. The last time I was there I waited about 20 minutes but when it was my turn, they did my nails rather quickly. I only do the gel manicure and regular pedicure when needed. They have great prices and do good work. I also like the way they have it decorated in there. It looks a lot better than the other place I went and it's also very clean. The lady did a great job on my nails and I'll definitely go back. I previously received $5 off for being a first time customer so if you go, definitely mention that. read more

After being relocated to the desert for work, I had to find a spot who could do my nails and not try to charge me "an arm and a leg" for crappy quality of work. This is the spot for all your self-care needs in the realm of pampering. Amanda and her staff are professional and their quality of work surpasses their Scottsdale competition with creativity, quality of work and overall cost of services. If you want to pay less for your nails with better quality then come here. If not continue to play astronomical amounts of money for not having half of the quality that Amanda and her teams produces each time. read more

This is "my spot"! I don't always go to get my nails done, so the few times a year that I do go, I want to make sure they look beautiful and are consistent. This place always does an amazing job. I will definitely say the first time I went I loved my nails and feet. The lady did my French so perfect. I wish I would've known her schedule. AVOID THIS PLACE!! DO NOT COME HERE YOU WILL REGRET IT! My feet look horrible like a 2 year old did it but it probably still would look better than this! I have lived in the valley for about 20 years and this is by far the absolute worst place in the valley to get any services from them! I use to come here about 8 years ago but had to stop because the service went down hill! Here we are 8 years later and worse! Tried to give them another chance but won't ever be coming back here again! Came from Maricopa thinking I would be getting a nice pedicure but I could have gotten a better pedicure from my cat! From the time I walked in until I left I felt unwelcome and unwanted to be there! The lady barely said 2 words to me besides gel or regular polish. Then with an attitude told me where to look! Horrible customer service and they do a half job in the service you receive not to mention that the prices are ridiculous! There are cheaper salons that do way better! If I pay this much I expect a better experience! I would recommend this place to my enemy I would NOT recommend coming here go somewhere where else when you will be getting better service for a better price or if you pay that price it's worth it! This place over sells themselves they are not good enough to be at the price point they are at! You can smell cigarettes while getting a pedicure and a worker was sitting in the pedicure chair with his shoes on the towel part where your feet go on the pedicure chair! And I'm sure he sat someone there without changing the towel! Don't go here you may end up with a fungus no telling how many corners they cut! AVOID THIS PLACE LET THIS BE YOUR WARNING! read more

Ivy took my last minute nail appointment and did a great job. I asked for pink gel acrylic nails with one white nail and a rose. She cute my nails shorter because I broke my thumb nail, so she evened them out. She was gentle with my hurt thumb, so that was a relief. She gave me exactly what I asked for. Very pleased. Although it was such a long wait, I loved my nails and my mom's as well. I would definitely come back, but I would recommend making an appointment especially on Friday, Saturday or Sunday! We arrived around 4:45 and they told us it would be another hour until we got helped. After that, they didn't do my nails until around 6:15 & we came out around 8:25 after our fulls sets and pedicures. Our nails are SO cute though! I love this place if you go in and tell them what you want prior to the staff starting to do you nails they listen. I'm only speaking from my experience obviously but I've had other places where staff doesn't like your input and will suggest other things for you to do. I know what I like and I appreciate that when I go here the staff listens and isn't pushy. read more

This place is clean and they do a great job! My mom and I went in for gel pedis yesterday and are very happy with the results! I love that they use plastic bags to line the foot baths so you're not putting your feet in nasty, never cleaned baths!!! That's a HUGE bonus for me! I've been getting my nails done for literally 21 years now. My sister went here and she has very sensitive and thin nails. She got a set done by the best place ever Island nails on mcqueen and Elliot, but wanted a fill or redo closer to her house. She tells them she has sensitive and thin nails (and they really are unlike mine) and they go to take off her fake nails BY RIPPING THEM ALL OFF! She was in so much pain, so then by the second hand they soak it, after completely ripping off all her nails on her right hand. I guess they saw the pain she was in (and she's too polite to say anything). Just be lucky I wasn't there!!!! Then another lady comes in and they immediately soak both her hands.... I have never heard of RIPPING someone's nails off when they arent super grown out and AREN'T hanging by a thread. SIMPLE PHYSICS!!! They then said nothing to her about getting another set or even filling (she hasn't had nails in 10 years) which she said she probably would have done it she had known. Just stay far away, and I also have to say just look at the pictures, I get you have gross feet, but after a pedicure you shouldn't have crusty's all over your toes and cuticles... Obviously, this place doesn't take pride in their work. Avoid at all costs!!! read more

This places uses dirty materials. I went back in May. I'm just now posting because for you to see the infection it caused - I had to wait for my toe nail to fall off. It's summer and my toe looks absolutely disgusting and I have to wait for it to grow back now. The day I got my pedicure, my nail was hurting really bad. It still was for almost a week and I almost went to the doctors but then it stopped. Little did I know it's because the nail died. I started noticing that it was lifting and once it grew out some (because the base was still connected) I saw my nail was black underneath the gel color I had. Yesterday it finally broke off but not the left side, so I had to cut most of it with nail clippers and now I have to wait for the edge on the left to push it self off. THIS PLACE SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN! they gave my friend a nail fungus as well but she didn't lose her nail like I did. Thanks a lot for ruined and ugly toe for the rest of summer. read more

The nail techs here are so welcoming and friendly from the moment I called to make an appointment and the moment I left. Amanda took care of me today and she was very detailed at fixing my acrylic I had broken today to match with my other nails. She listened to me vent and the other techs made me laugh which I really needed. Will definitely return! I came across this place after searching for a nail salon that was different from my normal. This place I found because it was down the street from my job. They did an okay job on my nails. But I could care less at this moment because I just needed my nails done before I went on vacation. I usually do a longer length, so these are a little short for me. The shape is alright. Wanted to get a manicure/pedicure and my normal go to place was full, so looked up some nail salons by my work and found Glamor Nail Bar, so I headed on over there. It was around 12pm on a Thursday and I got in right away, now if you are looking for a timely job, this place may not be for you, like I said I got there around 12 and left a little after 2. The pedicure and manicure was great! Service was great too, didn't get charged too much for an added design on 2 fingers and 2 toes. I am so happy with this nail salon! I've never been to a salon where I can have anyone do my nails and a great job will be done! I came in the first time with very brittle and thin nails from the last place I'd gone. I explained to them that I clean a lot and just wanted my hands to look pretty and I needed something that wouldn't chip or damage my nails further. They suggested doing dip and that they would be gentle, and they were!! I've been going for months now and couldn't be happier! This review is long overdue! For $23, you get a phenomenal pedi experience with a generously timed oil/hot stone massage and of course while sitting on the comfortable massage chairs. Next time I go, I'm definitely going to try one of their upgrades with other beauty products! Their service was excellent and the owner is very professional at all times, even while dealing with a downright insane customer like I've had the unfortunate experience of witnessing... This lady was accusing them for talking badly about her toes and getting her shoes wet. She made a scene and also threatened the workers saying that she could do a lot of damage and was very condescending and rude to the poor employee who didn't speak English and the owner even though they were very polite and apologetic to her. My friend and I went in expecting to just get our toes done peacefully after a long day at work and of course that peace was soon disrupted as soon as this crazy person brought her crazy. We just felt so bad for the poor owner and worker for having to deal with such a ridiculous situation and I couldn't bare to think of the possibility of this nail salon's losing business because of one inaccurate review. The owner apologized again and again and did not deserve all the condescending remarks about their culture... goodness gracious... So anyway, this place is super clean and professional. I could tell from the time that she took prepping my nails for polish that they were going to come out beautiful. Also I love the environment of the shop. It's very calm and peaceful. Every nail was a different size. He didn't make sure they were the same size as the other hand... and they were way too short, I wanted them long still just the tips trimmed off. This nail salon was the only salon I would visit since moving from New Jersey 3 years ago. I frequented this salon out of convenience. They're work has always been mediocre however it was close to home and work. The very last time I visited this salon was last week, where unfortunately I had to visit 3 days in a row because the new male nail tech (do not know name) messed up on my nails twice. The first time he did my nails they were shaped uneven and the nail polish was streaky. I went back a 2nd time the next day to get my nails fixed and a polish change and I was charged $17 because it was a gel polish, when the mistake was totally on the nail tech's end. Not only was the polish change charge excessive, the nail tech painted one hand twice and the other three times, leaving one hand darker than the other. I left in disbelief, but called later so I can speak with the manager. Every visit, I tipped greatly, I spent a lot of money with their salon for nails, pedi, lashes and even purchased some of their hand sugar wash. I was very disappointed that being a loyal customer was not considered. The manager advised I can come back a 3rd time to have it fixed by her. I did not get an apology for having to spend my time and resources to have to come back a 3rd time to get my nails fixed. The manager "fixed" my nails, meaning they looked better than when I came in, but in the end they were still bad. I only went back a 3rd time so that she'd fix them for free as she said and so I did not have to pay another salon to do them all over. However, I will never spend my money with this salon again. They were given multiple times to correct their work and service and neither was done to my standards. read more

TERRIBLE , I came in to get a acrylic set and they came out awful . I asked the guy who was doing my nails to color match the picture I showed him and he asked if one of the dip powders were good which was totally off from the picture as clear as day. So I asked for a beige color after the third time I gave up so I just told him the dip he picked was fine because it was closer but not the same . He clearly was frustrated that he had to find something I liked . After he found it he immediately told me it would be 83$ . When you see the picture you will understand why I'm mad for spending so much money on something that was nothing that I wanted . And when I was checking out he made it known he was looking at how much I would tip him so I just gave him a 20 because I felt under pressure . 100$ on the shittest nails ever , Run far away from this place not worth it . He compared every nail and made sure each nail was consistent with one another in every angle without me mentioning anything!
