Pedicure turned out okay but this overall experience was subpar. I will say that I booked services with the thought that they would fix their lack of hot water issue. When I came the next day still not fixed. They used electric kettle to heat foot bath for pedicure. Mine was still cold but my husband was decently warm. Overall the pedicure was well done but I wanted more chemical on my feet for the calluses remover. Further my massage chair lost power 15 minutes into the service, because someone was working on the electrical. My husband's chair was not affected. My pedicure person was unable to move my chair also during this to do my feet. Since the pedicures were just okay, we left before the manicure. Opted to go to nearby bar for Happy Hour instead. It also appeared that we would have a substantial wait for manicure since they were overbooked. This place is nearby and I wanted to love it but I am gonna check some other places nearby for future mani/pedi. It could be a one off because of water issue and Easter weekend. read more

I had a great first experience here. I happened to see this nail salon as I was in the plaza for other reasons. I decided to give them a try. The salon looks brand new and is beautifully decorated. I walked in without an appointment and was taken back right away. I did a pedicure and a gel manicure. This is the only place I've been able to find in Arizona who will remove the gel the way I want (without using the machine). They had no issues with doing it this way. I really loved my nails. That's the best part, however their customer service needs to severely improve. The woman who did my nails was extremely rude and very clearly talking about my nail choices with her friends. How would I know? She was pointing at my nails and lifting my hands for her friends to see and laughed. She always was aggravated when I asked her to correct something. Then he changed the design completely and they looked horribly done. I was very disappointed because I make the design myself and it looked tacky. Well.. let me start by saying my regular nail shop is on the other side of town in Scottsdale so I decided to stop by because lot of the reviews are women from California that I read. But let's get to the bottom point here, I don't feel the woman who assist people on check out is very friendly. She has this attitude of very unprofessional, nonchalant, no care in the world and you take what I say type service. Getting my nails and toes done are a REGULAR NORMAL THING FOR ME... so when I asked for what I asked for and she repeatedly tried to change what I wanted I lost all interest in the business. I really just wanted to hurry and leave. Because the service was just not as I expected for me but the service for the average Caucasian customer was excellent, super friendly super helpful and for me to not get the same is disturbing and disappointing. Not only do my nails have like a curve but they just look chalky. Hands dry no offer of cuticle oils no nothing in so disgusted in service all around. And I know the young man who did my nail is training so I don't point blame to him whatsoever but man im upset I have to go pay someone else to fix them. I've had it with this nail salon; I get sns every time I've been in. The following day after getting my nails done, I woke up and my nails looked like the picture above. I went in the very next morning Tracy gets an attitude and says it's because I did gel on top and looks at me annoyed. Goes on to tell me she's busy with appointments which I totally get but do not blame it on me and get an attitude and be rude. I'm the one having to come back for a service they clearly did wrong. They were very unprofessional, during this appointment I can hear them repeatedly talking about, "shaping" except they were not speaking English but on my previous appointment I asked why they were charging me an additional $10 and they said for reshape. This has been the shape of my nails and I've been coming for months so they were not reshaping maybe touch up but not significantly and they knew that. Again, do not get upset or make someone feel uncomfortable for asking about a service I'm paying for, I have the right to ask why I'm being charged differently then what they have listed. it was an extra $10. Prior to Lee starting on this new sns she mentioned that it was $55 because of length of my own nail which again my nails have been this long and it's my actual nail and I've been going to them for a couple months and there's always a different price but every time they say the up-charge is for something different. That's why I assumed they were talking about my previous appointment. Again, always something different as to why they have to charge extra $10. The entire time she was doing my nails she was all over the place curing three then the other two and even had skipped my thumb and seemed annoyed. Which at that point I was uncomfortable for even asking the previous appointment because I kept hearing them talking mentioned multiple times about "shaping". Lee has done my nails multiple times and she had always been pleasant and friendly and this time she was not. Now I am headed out of town, my nails look horrible and they were rude instead of rectifying their error or even trying to make it right instead she blamed me for getting gel. I had referred numerous people, will no longer refer anyone or go there myself because of how horrible they handled the situation. read more
