    Spicy Tuna

Contrary to the other reviews, I did not have poor service here. My chief complaint is the food. The spicy tuna roll was huge and I don't mean many pieces... I mean, I could not fit a piece into my mouth because that's how wide it was. Everything else was bland, the yakisoba was utterly tasteless. I don't think I'll be returning.

Clyde made this experience unforgettable! Supporting family businesses is one of my missions and Silk definitely deserves to be recognized! I really enjoyed the egg drop soup and cheesecake tempura! The heartbreak jalapeño was too hot for me, but be sure to try this if you like hot. The sushi was not my favorite sushi in town, but very enjoyable! I loved the little salad with crab sticks that came with the roll - that was different and a nice surprise. The Ruby Shyne is named after Clyde's daughter and is full of surprises! Must try!!!!! Clyde showed us some of the non-sushi dishes and they are gigantic portions that made my mouth water. Will definitely be back to try some of those classic dishes and snag another lychee sake and cheesecake tempura!

Since my spouse is observing lent, (no meat Fridays till Easter), I wanted him to take a break from fried fish sandwiches. Im glad we went with Silk. Solid sushi option. Tons of yummy rolls and appetizers to choose from. Rice was cooked well. Fish was fresh. Their shrimp fried rice was refreshingly flavorful. Presentation was great even for take-out/door dash. Everything arrived fast and securely packaged. If you don't eat sushi, Silk has plenty other options to choose from on their menu. Give them a try!

    Chirashi and SMT Nigiri

Egg drop soup that came as a starter was good. I had the Chirashi Plate and SMT Nigiri for dinner. They were good. The Chirashi plate is quite small compared to others around town. Said it came with salad, did not get that - no big deal The service was average for what you get these days. Took a few minutes to get a menu. I had to get my soy sauce dish off the sushi bar after my food was delivered. I was one of 3 tables at 8:30p, assumed they would be quick with the tab, but I waited 10 minutes after finishing my food to get the bill (all staff was busy on side work, no one at tables) and had to interrupt the side work to get it. Not the end of the world but something that could be easily improved. I'd probably do take out, would not eat in again

Really amazing sushi rolls. The fish tasted fresh, presentation was nice and flavor was on point! Waiter was super friendly. Tables distanced, really great experience on a Saturday for lunch.

First off, wow! My friend and I came and we were pleasantly surprised by how good this place is! The place is so chill and we loved the music. Our server was very kind and helped us choose what to order since we'd never been before. Our food was ready in no time! We were also told that we were lucky it wasn't super busy on a Sat evening in June and we believe it!! This place is a hidden gem! I couldn't recommend it enough!

I wanted to love this place so bad, but it was just ok. The wait is worse than the reviews say…read more He literally works on 1 item at a time, and even though the table next to me ordered the same special sake with the salmon fin, he only made 1 sake at a time. Mine may have showed up 20mins after my neighbor's. The quality of the food items were just ok. I had comparable sushi at another sushi restaurant a few blocks away. -Idiot Fish: The most exciting thing was the name. It was a pretty firm fish, no fat, and quite a few bones. -Sashimi Platter: 6 types, with 2 each. We got mackerel, yellowtail, tuna, salmon, white fish (snapper?), and octopus. -King Crab Roll: What I thought was the imitation crab was actually real crab. The coloring was so ...fake looking. It's not a bad roll, but I'm not sure the flavor of the crab came through. -Beef Steak Japanese Style: Big dish but awful cut of meat and had a semi off taste. Either freezer burn or the fridge. It was full of sinew and super chewy. -Herring Roe on Seaweed: This had a strange bitter aftertaste. I couldn't eat the beef after having this, it made the beef bitter too. It was a super fun texture though. Very snappy, very poppy. Only come here if you absolutely have the time for it. My dinner took about 3 hours, and there were 5 other tables.

Been wanting to try this little spot out for quite some time! This very small, hometown izakaya…read moretucked downtown has been serving up delicious and flavorful Japanese food with warm hospitality for many years -- and it shows. Each dish is made with care and heart, the kind of comfort Japanese food that will have me returning. The hot sake and special sake (with salmon fin) were awesome -- a must-try! Downside: the wait for food and service can be very long, but Sam's a one-man operation -- and absolutely worth the patience! If you plan on bringing three or more people, be sure to reserve seating ahead of time. I definitely need to try the ramen menu next!

Another adventure in office lunch orders!!! This time we…read moretried Ramen House....I am absolutely going to be trying this spot again. I thought it was pretty risky to order ramen for delivery but Ramen House definitely "delivered" (pun intended) All of our dishes were fantastic, I got the Tonkotsu Special, and loved it. Another ordered cheesy ramen and it was super yummy also! But fair warning, be careful of your spice level choice with the spicy ramen....my buddy has a high spice tolerance so ordered a pretty high number on a scale of 1-10 and he could barely eat it. Another colleague got a 3 spice level and it was SPICY but delicious! Best part!!!!! They pack the noodles separate from the broth, so it's not soggy when you get it. And they leave a sweet little note on each package. For sure going into our rotation of places we will order from again!!

I tried this place right after discovering Naruto Ramen. Out of all of the ramen places in town,…read morethis place could use the most improvement. The wait staff was great and made sure I had all that I needed. I found their ramen to be a bit plain. I ordered the Shoyu Ramen and it tasted more like pho than ramen. The broth was a bit watered down and a little more spicier than I'd prefer. Their goyza was pretty delicious with the chili sauce that came with it. I feel they should add a chicken ramen and a seafood ramen to the menu. Most are pork, which is traditionally what ramen is made with. I just feel they could make this restaurant a little bit more memorable and distinct. To me, I feel it could improve
