Took the family there yesterday, 4/26/25 for lunch/brunch. First time for us, although we'd been in the building for meals under prior ownership/concept. 4 adults, 13 yo, 8 yo. We shared chive biscuits and pot pie fritters, and onion rings as starters. ALL of the starters were insanely good. The onion rings were a 'sharing' portion. 8 yo had wings, 13 yo fried chicken, 2 adults had hot chicken sandwiches with duck fat fries, one had an omelette, and I had a Reuben. Reubens are one of those dishes I like to try wherever they are on the menu. I'm not given to hyperbole, and I rarely rate something 10/10, but this Reuben was the best I've ever had, and I've eaten many. Corned beef can be tricky, it's often chewy and even stringy. This was the most tender corned beef in a sandwich I've ever had. Rye toasted perfectly, all the flavors blended perfectly. The kraut didn't dominate, but was tasty. Thousand Island dressing was great. I didn't opt for the duck fat fries, went with the great kettle chips. Tried my wife's duck fat fries, they were great. My son raved about his and they loved their hot chicken sandwiches. My 13 yo granddaughter devoured her generous portion of fried chicken (actually took one piece home). DIL raved about her omelette with french toast. Grandson had wings, but he also ate some of his parents food as well. Wound up sharing two huge brownies with ice cream and cherry whipped cream. Long story a bit longer: we all agreed that there was not a single thing on the table that wasn't off the charts great. If there was a downside, unfortunately it's a downside these days whenever you eat out. It was pretty pricey, but it was worth it. I live in Annapolis, and compared to the Frederick area Annapolis is a food wasteland. I wish we had the Showroom here in Annapolis. Service was pretty good. Our server was very attentive, although she did disappear for a bit as we were looking to order dessert. Try this place!!! read more

Had dinner here with my fiance for our anniversarry and it was all very good, from appetizers to desserts!

The Fries were very good. The deviled egg appetizers were OK. The double cheese burger was pitiful. Saying it was like McDonald's would be derogatory towards McDonald's. My guest had to send his back to be cooked. The menu's obvious intentions are to serve drinks and not food. The food selection was very limited. I won't be back. Very Sadly disappointing. read more

We were traveling through the area and stopped here for breakfast. We both got Huevos Rancheros, and we asked if they could substitute their breakfast potatoes for the chorizo it included. When the food came, we had expected just a couple of those potatoes in our plate but instead they delivered two full side orders, a very generous substitution indeed. Every bite was absolutely delicious, the coffee was very good, though I would have loved a latte which they don't offer. No big deal. Service was quite good, the interior is uniquely modern and funky at the same time, well lit, and the only major regret that I have is that I don't live in the area, so I can't go back for breakfast again. Highly recommended. Well done! read more

Another great meal at the show room. Ashley was our server tonight and she was fantastic. Husband had the double stack burger with split fries and I had a chicken wedge salad. The food was delicious as always it was clean. Everybody is so friendly. read more

Our experience was exceptional! The food was ready as soon as I pulled up to curbside and called the number. The lady was very quick and friendly during the handoff. As for the food, it was amazing! We had the burger and cheese steak with duck fat fries. After about 20 minutes of driving, I was VERY surprised how fresh the food still was. Most other places it would've been soggy or not as fresh. The sauce, the bread, the meat, and especially the fries were to die for. Can't wait to try the rest of the menu and look forward to supporting this restaurant! read more

Food was just ok. I had the chicken pot pie fritters and they were crispy balls of mush. Chicken and waffles was ok, I would have preferred a more crispier waffle. The mimosas, though.....come in small kid sized glasses. The service was ehhh. Not sure if I would try this place again. read more

The Cheeseburger was satisfying in all ways. The Carrot cake truly outstanding with creamy white whipped icing." Sarah was an outstanding server. read more

Our first time there for brunch today on the recommendation of our daughter. My wife had the Reuben and a Bloody Mary. I had the fish & chips. The service was perfect. The food was fantastic! Definitely going again and again! read more

We had a delicious brunch! The chive biscuit was amazing. Highly recommend and the pancakes were light and fluffy. While most of the group got eggs, we all loved the crispy bacon sides as well. We sat outdoors and were happy overall. read more

So this place used to be Family Meal and sadly despite the menu similarities this place couldn't carry the torch. I don't want to bash Born and Raised because I know how hard it is for restaurants right now, but I want to encourage them to find a way to elevate these dishes the way Family Meal did. Fried chicken went from being some of the best I've ever had to a tasteless over salted completely boring dish. The biscuits were hard, the sauce was just cheap hot sauce mixed with cheap honey. The rest of the dishes we had were UNDER salted. The fries should have been fried longer (crispier), burger was bland, and the salmon was the worst of them all. No salt, topped with scary looking broccoli and 2 globs of incredibly unappetizing purplish substance like the color of liver mousse, I thought it might have been mushroom cream or pate, but it was caper butter. My advice is please tweak that dish immediately, no one will want that. Get rid of that green ninja turtle sauce on the spinach too. I could go on but it's just making me sad. Tweak these recipes and blow your customers away like Family Meal did. read more

I am new to the area, and I've only visited Showroom twice so far. Both times, the food was delicious and steaming hot. The duck fat fries and duck fat hashbrowns were amazing! Service was good. I understand this restaurant has been through a couple of iterations over the past few years. Hopefully, this concept stays. read more

Top notch customer service, impeccable food quality and portioning is on point. Been a regular customer and will continue to do so. Have recommended them to friends already. Kudos to front desk, Mark our server and management for a job well done. read more

It's been a long time ago since I went there, but they charge a lot of money for very little food and it's not all that great. It's a cool ambience, but that's all it has gone for it in my opinion. read more

Chicken and Waffles $20 plate I wanted a good breakfast, so I decided to be a first time guest at the Showroom. It unfortunately, was not the best choice for me on this day. First, I couldn't get past the plate full of peppers on top of the chicken thigh which seemed like it had been refried. The crust wasn't even attached to the chicken and was very hard. The waffle was a decent size, no frills, and the syrup was the best item on the plate. Overall, I was pretty disappointed. I ate about 3 bites and was done. It wasn't even a 1/4 of the meal. I let the server know my concerns with the plate. No manager came to ask about my experience. When a person sends back almost an entire plate of food, inquiry mind managers should want to know why. I'll stick with Dutches Daughter from now on when I want an "above the rest" breakfast "brunch" experience. read more

We had a delightful, delicious and fun evening at Showroom on Monday, March 20th. A party of 10 for a birthday celebration. Leonard, waiter, was attentive, helpful, and ensured good service. Food - as always was delicious. Main entrees - all came out at once which impressed everyone as well. Thank you for making a special evening even more special. read more

I placed a pickup order for a burger, I neglected to see that it did not come with fries but $18 for just a burger is ridiculous. I ordered it medium well and it was severely overcooked, dry and a little burnt. I didn't have much interaction with the staff but the burger was horrible. read more

Good was good. Service was good. It was Gathers Day weekend and the service ran smoothly. Kitchen forgot my fathers order otherwise it would have been five stars. Most of the table ordered burgers and I order shrimp and grits because it sounded delicious... I wish I had ordered a burger. The shrimp appetizer was delicious and everything else was perfect. Will come again. read more

We were driving north toward upstate NY and found those spot. Super good food. Really nice wait staff. And cool vibe inside. Whole family loved it. Only reason for not giving a four star was that the sausage was gross. It was like thawed frozen sausage patty. Inedible. Everything else we tried, was great. There were 7 of us and we got a lot of different menu items. The fried potato's were excellent. Would def go back. read more

Looking for a good breakfast place in Frederick, and this place didn't disappoint. A spacious, airy, and elegant restaurant with outdoor and indoor seating. Great food and beverages. Our group felt compelled to try the various fried chicken breakfast options, but afterward agreed that it was more than we needed. We will be back to try different fare! read more

Nice patio. Decent beer selection. Good food, though menu is somewhat limited with vegetarian sides and what they do have is pricey. $8 for some steamed carrots or French fries. If you go, better to go for brunch, then dinner. read more

This place never disappoints. We were here when it was Family Meal, but the hits just keep on coming. The Whiskey business drink was fantastic. The Bryan Burger was terrific even though I get it without bread. Follow up with Apple Fig pie and ice cream and you'll not be hungry upon leaving. Our waiter Trey was very attentive and we had a great time. Of course we'll be back. read more

Stopped in last night for a late dinner and were duly impressed! The venue is open and cute and the service was friendly and attentive. I had the Manhattan and let me tell you the pour was no DC $15 cocktail that is gone in two sips - plus it was tasty - loved the cinnamon stick! We shared the wedge salad and ordered the 1/2 fried chicken based on our server's recommendation. The food was generous and flavorful - the chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. All in all, a great meal! read more

Food was a 10/10. We got a Reuben and upgraded to duck fat fries. It was the best Ruben I ever had. It was moist and had the perfect amount of everything. Duck fat fries were probably the best I've ever had too. My husband had the strawberry French toast and raved about it too. We got a mimosa and the skinny Margarita and loved it as well. The service was nothing special but we were taken care of. The ambiance is very hip and trendy. Would definitely go back for the food read more

I have been here twice for brunch and both food and service are amazing!! Will keep coming back especially for those biscuits!

Have always enjoyed this restaurant. Creative menu. Fun environment. Food is very good and service is even better.

Dined here for the first time with my husband. It was just what we had in mind for an early dinner after a long appointment. We chose a booth inside and liked the modern, warehouse ambiance. I had the roasted vegetable salad and added salmon. The salmon was seared and crisped perfectly and very flavorful. I was a little surprised with the salad as I expected it to have more of an assortment/larger portion of roasted vegetables given it's name on the menu. While it had tiny bits of sweet potato and asparagus, it was mostly kale. It also had a few blackberries and some feta which made it more enjoyable. My husband ordered the Nashville chicken sandwich and the duck fat fries. The fries were really good. Our server was excellent and the staff in general was attentive and polite. We will come back with a bigger crowd next time and look forward to trying some appetizers and the milkshakes. read more

Really good brunch place! Recommended is chicken and the egg sandwich, super tasty! Wife enjoyed her omelet as well. Drinks were a tad small but delicious! Service was prompt and attentive. Would definitely return. read more

This place has really gone downhill over the years and it's disappointing :( ordered a brownie and it was hard as a rock, the duck fat fries were soggy and uneventful. All in all a bummer that a place we could rely on for a solid meal is now just mediocre at best. read more

The food is amazing! Service is friendly and helpful. Shakes, are to die for! If I lived closer, I'd eat here weekly...

Me and my boyfriend went there last Sunday. We arrived around 7 and I was a little worried because it was almost closing time. But the staff were very friendly and the food was great. We ordered onion rings, spicy shrimp, burgers, fried potatoes and beet salad. All was so delicious. I'll definitely come again! read more

Solid 4-5 stars. Attentive service, plenty of parking. Somewhat odd location, but worth finding. It's a casual, diner-style joint, with above-average food at a reasonable price. We started with Chicken Pot Pie Fritters which were delish, piping hot, and infinitely gobble-able! The fried chicken main is just about the best value on the menu as far as I can tell, although looking around other portions were equally as generous and the burgers look amazing! When they say half a chicken, they mean literally half of a huge fried chicken! The meat is succulent and juicy and the batter is crispy and crunchy - basically everything you could want with fried chicken. It comes with two beautifully baked biscuits. I would have like to have had butter with them. The main does come with hot honey that you could use on your chicken and biscuits but I don't have a sweet tooth so would have liked a pat of budder with my meal, but that's just nit-picking when considering how good the meal was overall. They did let us know at one point that the kitchen was a little backed up, but that wasn't a problem for our table because we were in no hurry at all and took the opportunity to catch up. The duck fat fries are indulgent but definitely worth the cholesterol! If this place wasn't a hike for me to get to, I would probably be eating here at least a couple of times per week. read more

Loved ... just loved our brunch experience ! Great dishes, wish I had more photos! HEALTH INSPECTION NEEDED ASAP! A FLY flew out of my to-go box! I spent $189.90 ($15 tip) on a to-go order for the most disgusting experience of my life. 1st to go box had a live fat fly in it, 2nd had a thick finger length hair, 3rd had a bite out of the burger, 4th had spoiled pot pie fritters, plus grayish eggs, and a missing iced tea. When the order was picked up there were 4 out of 5 drinks handed to my Mother with no drink holder. The girl had an attitude and couldn't be bothered. Thankfully she had someone with her otherwise how was she supposed to leave with 4 drinks and the food bags? I call the manager, he apologizes, offers to recook the food and delivery it personally but I said no thank you, why would I want to eat anything from that kitchen? I was super nice so of course he didn't take it seriously. He offered me a $25 gift card (which was insulting after what I'd experienced), told me he'd call door dash for my refund, and that he'd get back to me asap BUT NEVER DID. My Mom left a 1 star review the same day because of the treatment she received (she's super nice and never complains about anything) and without even knowing what I had experienced with the order. The owner Dennis Hoffmann commented under her rating and asked for her to email or call him to make this right. I emailed and called with NO RESPONSE. I literally eat out everyday and I've experienced some horrible food at some sketchy places but I have NEVER experienced anything this disgusting before in my life. I might as well have gotten McDonald's for $15 and gotten better quality. It was as though the "food" was thrown in the trash, taken back out, and served to us. I have ordered delivery from them a lot of times recently and every time there was at least one thing missing. I never complained, I let it go, it wasn't that serious. THIS, this was mind blowing! And then I tried to be nice and not leave a negative review giving them a chance for a few days to rectify this situation. Nothing from the manager or co owner. Thanks to them I will never eat out again, not joking, that's how bad it was, I've been scared straight. It's something you'd maybe expect from a street meat vendor in another country. I'm just grateful we didn't get sick. I can only imagine what is going on in their kitchen. Where are the health inspectors in Frederick? read more

Outstanding fries and a strawberry marshmallow milkshake I refused to share made for a yummy lunch treat. Deviled eggs seemed to use cream cheese instead of mayo; interesting, but a little bland. A classic and well proportioned wedge salad allowed me to feel okay about my milkshake choice. A little surprised that my friend's burger came plopped alone on its plate. No sides, no plated anything, which made it seem...perfunctory. read more

I've gone to the showroom several times, and have always had a great experience, both food and service-wise. Today my wife and I went with our 3 kids along with 3 out of town friends. As usual, the food did not disappoint, but the service was really bad. They appeared to hire a lot of new staff, as I didn't recognize most of them.. the waiter we had was very slow and simply forgot to do several things. One guest asked for more coffee, which never came. I ordered a beer which i had to ask for several times, and finally came when we were 75% done with our meal.... He gave my wife the check, and she promptly put her card out only to wait and wait for him to pick it, which he did only after I waved him over... just plain slow, bad service. read more
