I love the food at this place. It's a fun twist on American classics. I love the drinks at this place. Hand crafted with homemade ingredients. I love the vibe and decor. Funky and a bit whimsical, with just the right amount of polished stainless steel to make it shine. This is a go-to place when people come in from out of town for business lunches. The fries? Oh, man. It's a bit expensive for a weekly lunch - at least for me. But it's a nice place to treat yourself, your friends, and your business associates to a nice lunch! read more

Had a wonderful breakfast this morning served by Anthony. The place was clean, with menu options that were delectable as well as healthy including the goat cheese and caramelized onion French omelette, which I enjoyed. There was also real maple syrup available for pancakes, which is practically unheard of, as well as honey and yummy green tea. The home fries that came with the omelette were cooked in garlic and duck fat, and delicious. Huge portion if you are a big eater! Anthony was upbeat, charming, and efficient. Highly recommend him! read more

Restaurant was empty at 2 in the afternoon - me, three women having lunch, and a couple with young kids. I waited ten minutes hoping someone would take my order. The host had to point me out to the server twice. Last I checked, I wasn't invisible. Drinks were good (irish coffee in a mug; hot chocolate). Biscuits were a little chewy and came swimming in cream gravy that had very little sausage. A disappointment all around. At least they welcomed my service dog. read more

The food here was delish. We had the biscuits and deviled eggs to start. For our meals we had the huevos rancheros, Rueben, and the breakfast sandwich. Also had a side of duck fat fries. Do not pass up an opportunity for those fries!!! The Rueben was good, though not enough kraut for my personal liking (but perfect for my husband). The ambiance is welcoming and service was solid. We will definitely be going again. read more

Consistent delicious food, and cocktails, and service. Wonderful staff. We eat here 6 times a week.

After a long weekend, my husband and I decided to have a laaaaate Monday brunch. We got there right after 3pm. Apparently brunch ended at 3pm, but they allowed us to order brunch. There weren't too many people. We started with the cheddar and chive biscuits with butter & strawberry compote. Honestly it tasted best with both on it. We were able to get the compote on the side for the pancakes. We added banana compote for $1.50. Pancakes were nice and fluffy. The huevos ranchero was soo tasty. Eggs were over medium which was perfect. It comes with avocado but I did without and it was great. Hubby had the chicken and egg. Cleaned his plate!! Everything was delicious! We really enjoyed our meal! We will definitely be back. read more

What a delicious set of dishes we had. The salmon I had on my salad is the best piece of salmon I have ever had - seasoned perfectly and cooked to perfection. They have a BFD (breakfast for dinner) section on the menu which my little grandkids loved since they were able to have pancakes and bacon. Great place to go as a family - I highly recommend!! read more

We had a reservation so we didn't have to wait for a weekend breakfast. I had the breakfast sandwich at the suggestion of our server and it was one of the best I have ever had. The service was quick yet attentive without feeling like we were being rushed. Definitely would go back. Unfortunately I forgot my phone in the car so no pics of this meal. The reason for not giving five stars is that we tried to go one other time and the host was super rude when we told him we preferred a table to a booth. Glad we gave this place a second chance though. read more

Recently got brunch to go from here. Overall, not bad! The place was hopping when I got there, COVID be damned. Lots of folks enjoying brunch and cocktails. Showroom accommodated us and let us take a Fall Fashioned cocktail to go in a sealed container. It wasn't bad. Smoke somewhat overpowered the rhubarb bitters, but it was otherwise good. Our meal included the chicken and waffles and an order of the pancakes with blueberry compote. The chicken and waffles were solid and the pickled pepper topping was a pleasant addition to the combo. The pancakes were *shrugs* fine. Standard pancakes. The blueberry compote was pleasant, but we either needed more or it or some syrup because the pancakes were kind of dry. Maybe someday I'll dine in and try to get the full experience. The place is decent overall. read more

Traye, our waiter, is one of those easy going guys with a great smile that just starts making your day better. Chicken and waffles, blueberry pancakes, sausage and oh my goodness the home fries!!!! Couldn't find fault if I tried! Over an hour from home but we'll be back within the month..... Even the lil coffee cream containers are adorable. PS.... We brought our dogs and they were warmly welcomed! read more

We had a nice Sunday brunch as we were passing through the area after a weekend trip. Food and service was great! I got the biscuits and gravy and the flavor was phenomenal. You could definitely tell there was rosemary and/or chives in the biscuits and they were really well-seasoned which kicked the whole thing up a notch. The dish also came with 3 eggs cooked your style, so it made for a pretty filling entree. My partner had the chicken and waffles and really enjoyed it. I had a bite and the southwestern spin with hot peppers and spicy syrup wasn't really my taste, but it seems like a popular menu item. The one thing that was a big bummer was the dirty cutlery. When we first sat down I noticed my fork had some residue so I asked for another, and the second fork ALSO had old food stuck on it. That was pretty disappointing, especially in the age of COVID when sanitation standards are particularly important. Two forks in a row doesn't seem like a fluke, so I hope they invest in paying closer attention to cleanliness. All their employees were wearing masks, though, which I really appreciated. Besides that we had a great time and it looked like there were a lot of other delicious things on the menu that we'd want to try if we came back. read more

Great brunch and cocktails that we found on our way home from vacation. We would definitely come back here again. Top notch service from Dylan. Loved the look of this place too. We sat on the patio and even though it was warm outside, the fans going kept it pretty manageable. read more

Showroom is your standard new American bar and restaurant. The food menu consists primarily of Southern classics (fried chicken, collard greens, deviled eggs, etc.) and the drink menu features interesting cocktails and tempting milkshakes. The food and atmosphere would appeal to kids and adults alike, and on a Saturday night, there seemed to be an equal mix of families and adult patrons. My partner and I came here for Frederick Restaurant Week, and both ordered from their prix fixe three-course menu. I had the devilled eggs, mushroom risotto, and the banana butterscotch trifle while partner had the whipped ricotta and focaccia, double stack burger, and ice cream sandwich. Our appetizers and entrees were ok, not great: the devilled eggs had too much of a mustard and vinegar flavor; the focaccia bread was too heavily seasoned with pepper; risotto lacked umami and was kind of bland. The desserts, however, totally knocked it out of the park! The service from start to finish was impeccable and attentive. I would come back to Showroom to try a few more dishes and cocktails, and definitely for more of that ice cream sandwich! read more

Was visiting family in Frederick and wanted to eat something good. Looked this up on Yelp and made resv. For an appetizer we ordered the biscuit. They were soooo good. I got the swordfish and it was really good! Super moist and flavorful. My husband ordered the wings and he said they were very good as well. We also ordered the brownie sundae. Now this was an odd brownie sundae to me. I didn't enjoy al the crunchy stuff on it and they also serve it with a scoop of cherry whipped cream. My husband hated the whipped cream, he hates cherries. It wasn't easily removed though because it was whipped so it kind of spread when trying to remove it. But all in all this place was good and I would recommend read more

Yes and no. The food is good and a little pricey. The breakfast items are good. The wait staff is friendly. Thanks Lynda Witenstein

I had family in town for a special event and was thinking about a couple places to take them for brunch. I'm very glad I decided on Showroom, I've been here a bunch of times, and it was one of the first restaurants I went to in town. There were a few times in the pandemic I doubted this place, steamed/cold takeout, who's fault was that? This place cares, we are lucky to have it in Frederick, the deviled eggs and biscuits were cared for. And this may not happen again, but I will say, the last restaurant I ate at, a couple days earlier, was Le Bernardin, an amazing place. Thank you Showroom for feeding us. read more

An absolutely amazing experience. Was very surprised with the quality of the restaurant. The menu is simple, but delicious. Absolutely loved the burger and french fries. Also, the fish and chips were delicious. My wife said her salad and pulled beef was made perfectly as well.. The showroom beer had great flavor in the service was great! read more

This place is fantastic! I love that their menu is on the smaller side - it's clear that they've been concise in their selection and worked hard to perfect their menu options. Been meaning to try this place and I'm happy that it lived up to my expectations. The place has a cool casual vibe. It was a Saturday around lunch and we were told it was going to be a 15 minute wait. But we got seated after only about five minutes, so bonus! We ordered the chicken pot pie fritters - omg, delish! I had the crab cake sandwich and it was awesome. No fillers, lots of crab meat and it was superb. My friend got the French omelette and loved it too. The waiter was very apologetic coz I wanted the shrimp and grits but they were sold out. He also apologized for the wait coz the kitchen was backed up but it really wasn't that long a wait. We really enjoyed our meal overall. We'll definitely go back. read more

Best Huevos Rancheros I've ever had in the states! I've traveled extensively in Mexico, spent lots of time in Austin. The Showroom nails it with their Huevos! They come with a gorgeous flavorful crema and a red sauce, and a generous amount of perfectly ripe sliced avocado. The corn tortillas were crisp. Eggs cooked exactly how I asked. The coffee was good. We got a side of potatoes as a sub for the chorizo, and they were crispy and hot and delicious. Our server was so sweet and attentive! I'm just traveling through this city, if I return I'll come back for more. read more

We were visiting a friend who moved to Frederick and he took us to Showroom for brunch. From the outside you're not quite sure what to expect as you can tell the building was converted however upon entering the nice floor to ceiling windows give the restaurant a very open and bright feel that adds to the experience. The menu ... BOMB! So many options for brunch that you're left wanting to order everything, but if you didn't wear sweats and have on real pants or jeans you know you can't order and eat it all, so, making a decision feels like one of the toughest and most important decisions of the year lol. I went with the espresso martini (after fighting myself on other tasty and unique adult brunch beverage options) and I was glad I did as it was PERFECT!!! Meal wise - A friend had the blueberry pancakes and devoured them ... another had the equivalent of a traditional breakfast w eggs, breakfast meat, home fries and breakfast bread and I had the holy grail of the menu ... the Fried Half Chicken with Biscuits and the hot honey and pickled veggies. That dang chicken was soooooooo freaking amazing and I took half home as I had to save room for the brownie sundae which I must say was basically the BEST brownie sundae I've ever had ... the brownie was perfection, the ice cream was coated in chocolate covered cornflakes and the strawberry whipped cream was literally a taste of heaven. I ate about 75% of that dang dessert and didn't feel bad about it one bit ... I will be sure to order it again on my next visit. Oh and our server, Will, was THE BEST! We were a larger party and he didn't miss a beat and was sooooo friendly. We will be sure to be back and you all need to pay this place a visit too! read more

One of my first restaurants to eat at in Downtown Frederick. Cozy modern take on a diner. Very unique lighting and homey wood grain decor. Alexis was our server and she was very down to earth and gave us great service. I ordered a Ceasar salad with salmon and the salmon was cooked medium by default which was great. Orange crush was decent. Came in for a quick dinner but next time I will stay longer and try more things! read more

Showroom It is ran by Master Chef contestant Bryan Boltaggio so we all know what to expect good tasty food and let me tell you it is everything to expect. We came for brunch by reservation and by appearance this place is five stars nice silverware and that had placemats which was cool. For starters we ordered cheddar chive biscuits which they serve with butter with strawberry jam and let me tell you they tasted like LITTLE PILLOWS OF HAVEN. And for a entree I got Meatloaf which came with mash potatoes and mushroom gravy that was out of this world. So if you are in the area go and eat there. read more

Went here on MLK weekend for brunch. The food was really good and the wait staff was great. While the chicken pot pie poppers were very good, they were way too expensive for the little you get. Husband and I went for an early dinner. The corn dip was great. I had the mushroom risotto, which was fine, but I wish they had more vegetarian entree options as I don't love rice. So one star off for that, but the food itself was good. My husband had a burger and liked it. Service was OK, typical for Frederick - we've never gotten really good service anywhere here so it's a running joke between me and my husband. Ambiance was nice, though I suspect it can get crowded and loud if you go later. Prices were fair and we'll definitely keep this place in our regular dinner rotation. read more

During the pandemic, Family Meal closing the doors for good hurt my heart. Showroom is the identical twin, renamed. Wasn't too surprised when I checked the menu and many of my favorites were alive and well. We went for a quick bite and each had the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich- same great fried chicken they're known for. Paired with the side of wilted spinach and a glass of red wine. Servers were great and social distancing was present and well achieved! Voltaggio does it again, another great success! read more

I brought my friend to this restaurant today, July 4th, 2025. He likes the Voltaggio brothers so I thought it would be a treat. I had been here once before and the service was pretty slow. This time I was so disappointed, we are never going back there again. We were seated. We sat for awhile. Another server finally came over and asked if we had seen our server yet. We said no. She said she would go see where he was and get us some water. We saw our server walk by a couple times and never acknowledged us. Finally he came to take our order. After waiting a runner brought our biscuits we ordered. He said he would go and get us two plates. He just disappeared and never came back with the plates. We waited and waited for our order. They finally brought me my coffee. We had drank all the water waiting, so I set the bottle on the edge of table to let them know it was empty. Never even acknowledged that. Finally our food comes from the runner who said he would be right back with some plates that never came. At this point we didn't say anything about that. The order he brought for me was not what I ordered, so he said he would take it back and have them make the right one. I thought oh no! We are going to be here forever. While I'm waiting for my order, my friend is eating his. I see a bunch a servers just standing around in the back. We are waiting and waiting. He finished his meal and I had still not received mine. I saw our server at the bar. I walked up to him and told him to just cancel the order. I had lost my appetite at this point. We just wanted the bill because we other things to do. He did eventually bring the right order but at that point we just wanted to leave. The fastest thing our server did during that whole experience was take our payment for the things we did receive. If you have a lot of time and don't expect prompt or good service, this is the place to go. My friend his meal was very good. So, I guess the food is good but I wouldn't know since I left before being able to taste it. read more

Honestly, disappointed. I've been looking forward to trying Showroom for a while now, and we finally made it there! Portions are rather large for the most part, but the food was fairly average. The best thing I ate was probably the French fries that came with my daughter's grilled cheese. Some of the items (grilled cheese and biscuits) were overdone to the point of appearing burnt. I appreciate a nice crisp char, but this was too far. The beet salad was probably the biggest letdown - it's basically a large plate of arugula, with 5-6 half-slices of the smallest beet you've ever seen for $13. I expected to pay higher prices for a meal here, but that's just silly. All in all, a definite miss for me. I'd honestly prefer a greasy spoon diner to this. read more
