Selection of menu items were lengthy. Was glad to see catfish on the menu. It was quick and friendly.

Visited on Jan 14th for brunch Food: Fresh salad. it made me feel refreshed and healthier, and then I looked around and realized that all of the other Dine-in customers looked in their 60's with grey hairs, so I thought, "that's why they are here!" I recommend you to have some salad here if you like fresh food. Interior: I like bright spaces, and I liked the windows that allow sunshine cheerfully come into the inside of the restaurant. Service: (1) The employee who took an order was so kind. I visited the States for traveling, and it was my first time to visit Showmars, so I was not familiar with the menu and everything. (Even communicating in English. It's not my mother tongue, and I'm writing this review with help of dictionary to find the proper words!). Although I was a bit mumbling, she was so patient and welcoming with her beautiful smile . (2) when leaving the restaurant, there were already full of trays with cups on the place for the used trays, so we couldn't stack our trays, and the other employee came with the other trays on her hands and responded very gently that she would handle it, so we could just leave there right away. This was my first time at this location, and my second time at Showmar's. The bar was set high, as my husband and I visited the Brier Creek location the weekend before. (I will rate them a 5 next.) We were not as impressed with the Stadium Drive location. We went on a Friday night. The food took a very long time, and they were not overly crowded. The food wasn't hot, and my gyro was dry, with not much flavor. My daughter and I visited the restroom, and the floor was so greasy, as we stood in place our feet continuously slid. My husband did say his gish sandwich was good. Try Brier Creek out. I've been there twice now, and they are always quick and everything is always hot! read more

This was my second time here! The first time I got takeout but this time we dined in! The service was great they bring your food to you on nice plates so even tho it looks like fast food that gives you a restaurant feel! I had the fish sandwich with fries delicious! And my son had a cheeseburger and fries he said it was very good and that the fries were yummy! The food was freshly made and hot! We came here Saturday before we did some fall festivities. My husband and I got the gyro platters. My mother in law got a half chicken pita and a Greek salad. My father in law got the flounder platter. The food was okay. The gyro platter doesn't come with lettuce or anything to top your pita so I used stuff from my Greek salad. I wasn't all that impressed with it. It was good but not the best. My mother in law liked her food but it was a very small portion. My father in laws fish was yummy! My son got popcorn shrimp and liked it. The breading on the fried food was light so it was good. The baklava and milkshakes are also delicious. I wasn't displeased with my visit but if I want Greek food in the future I will probably go to one of the other more authentic restaurants in the area. read more

I absolutely love the food here. They do t skimp on it and it comes rather quick. One of the best thing here is the seating, it's comfortable & makes you want to relax and enjoy your food. I've tried something different each time I've gone, but nothing beats the Mac n cheese here, it's simply the best I've eaten in quite a while and so are the shrimp. I had heard many great things about Showmar's over the past few months. It's been in Wake Forest now for some time and I received a coupon for a free fried fish sandwich, so I figured now was the best time to try it. I decided to have dinner here after a busy Saturday afternoon. I arrived around 6:30 and was able to walk up and order right away, it got really busy within minutes. Since it was my first time there, I asked the cashier what would go best with the fried fish sandwich, he suggested the crinkle fries. I order the sandwich, the crinkle fries and a strawberry milkshake. I decided to dine in, so they gave me a number to put on my table. My food came out hot and fresh within about 10-15 minutes. I asked for a side of ranch to dip my fries in and started eating. Absolutely delicious! I literally enjoyed every single bite and the ranch complimented both the fries and the sandwich. I ate every single bite and wished I had more. I'll definitely be back to try other things on the menu, especially the baklava cheesecake. We love Showmars for their fried flounder. It's some of the best we've found in the area. The service is great as well as the food but they definitely lose a 5 star rating for us due to the freezing temperature in the restaurant. It has been exceedingly cold the last 3 or 4 times (at least) that we have dined in. It is 43 degrees outside today and it is almost as cold in the restaurant. Every patron here has their winter coat on while eating. Even though we have been regulars for some time I do not think we'll be back until they turn on the heat or summer comes. read more

This place is slow on a slow day. I got one sandwich and have been waiting for well over 20 minutes, even though I already called in prior. People who walked in after me and did not call in before had were served before me. When I asked the manager about an update on my order after 2 people were given their food before me. Wow! Best "fast food" around! We've been here at least once every week or so since they've opened. Every time we go we're cheerfully greeted by all staff, some who even remember our kid's names! It's easy to order and then your high chair, your drinks, and your food are all delivered to your seat! My family has tried, hamburgers, fish sandwiches, macaroni and cheese, grilled chicken, fresh fruit, hummus, fish and shrimp, salmon salad, and Greek salad with gyro meat. Came in for a drive by for their well recommended fish sandwich in a Brioche bun with Tar tar sauce. It's a bang for the buck at $5 and change. I called them and requested for food to be ready at the time and didn't even need to pay for it. When I came, went to counter told them my name and it was ready. Best lunch on a budget. Did I mention that the fish although deep fried and breaded was not oily and it was flavorful as well as HUGE. I will certainly be back at least for that fish sandwich again. They also have other food and salad but for now this is my experience. Wanted to try the salad but my guy said it was soft and unappealing when he ordered. Well the food is pretty good for fast food, the attention to detail when you call In and order to put it mildly questionable. We've ordered now via the phone for the last three times, and my wife goes to pick up the food and now for the third time they lost the order. No sorry for the mistake, no we will comp you for your time nothing!!! If I hear one other excuse that it's Covid, everybody's in training, when you called your order in it was very busy, etc. I think it's time to move away from this restaurant until they get their act together and their staff trained. read more

The good: food was good, salad was fresh, service was wonderful! Very friendly and helpful staff. It is brand new so obviously it's very clean! So the overall food and eating experience was great! Our food didn't come out correctly but they quickly fixed the minor issue so no big deal. The biggest issue is the parking and restaurant layout. If you remember all the parking before they built up that side of the plaza it may be hard to believe, but it's true, there is not a lot of parking available near the restaurant. The biggest issue for me is the layout. Getting out is difficult because you have to fight through people coming in and those standing in line to get to the door. They do have a patio door that goes to a fenced patio so if the gate out there works I suggest leaving by the gate (that's what I plan to try next time). read more
