The only other option offered was a high-top, which isn't safe or practical with a baby. When we spoke to the manager, he said he had turned down another family in the same situation earlier, so he didn't feel right making an exception for us. I chose to come to this location because the one closest to my house has fallen off. We were seated right away. This location is a lot smaller than the Raleigh location. There is a bar and televisions inside. The business has daily specials for drinks and food. We ordered the Royale pizza and added bacon, no olives and mushrooms to half of the pizza. We also ordered wings with two sauces on the side. Our server came back multiple times to verify how we wanted our pizza and wings prepared. Our wings came out & they were prepared well and tasted good. Our pizza however was missing the onions and green peppers. We decided to just keep the pizza because it took a while to come out. The manager came over & told us that he wanted to give us a discount because we didn't get all of our toppings and that the employee was new. We were appreciative. First time here and we were pleasantly surprised. We've always heard mixed reviews and wanted to judge for ourselves. We would give this more like a 3.5 but Yelp doesn't permit 1/2 stars and a three rating seemed too low. Hostess was very friendly and cheerful. We were seated straight away. We started with chips and guacamole - it was delivered to the wrong table and we all noticed - the other table said, "these aren't ours" and we said "they're for us". The server realized and just grabbed our food from the neighbors table and brought it to us. I'm quite certain that this would have not been acceptable for other people, we chose not to make it a big deal. I'm not a guacamole fan but my husband is and he like it quite well. Chips were a bit thicker than we like but overall good flavor. For lunch, we chose the French dip with fries, white pizza with a side of sweet potato fries and hubby went with his standard cobb salad. We had to send the fries back as they had cinnamon on them (don't think that was stated on the menu) and our daughter has a cinnamon allergy. The white pizza was pretty good. My French dip was average, it looked rather like packaged deli meat. I would not order it again. The fries were ok. My husband said the cobb was ok. Overall, glad we tried this restaurant finally. I appreciated how clean the ladies room was and the music was great. The decor is nice and the feel is very family-friendly and casual. Again, I'd give 3.5 stars for anyone reading, not a 4. My family dined in on a Friday evening and the service was great. We eat pizza every Friday and being new to the area, we wanted to try somewhere locally owned. At first glance, the crust seems like the typical thin crust but it's the perfect combination of thin and pan crust. They aren't heavy on toppings but the flavor more than makes up for it and the ingredients are fresh. We did carry out for our next visit and it was still delicious. We enjoyed our time at Rudino's. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by staff and seated. Our waiter was very friendly. I ordered the Buffalo jalapeño halves and the Thai chicken flatbread. They were both good. The jalapeños were stuffed with Buffalo chicken dip, bacon bits, and BBQ sauce. The Thai chicken flatbread had sweet Thai sauce --although I would have enjoyed more I thought there wasn't much on it. It also had chicken, pineapples, onion, cilantro and mozzarella. I was visiting my boyfriend from New Jersey and I had asked him to take me to a sports bar and I guess I am used to a sports bar to be a sports bar but this place did not have the feel of a sports bar at all. Now we are wing snobs and the wings were horrible and I was not happy with them at all. After my boyfriend ate them he said they were the worst wings he had and he should have never ordered them. The Lovely Wife was ill and had requested a nice sub for dinner and, of course, I agreed. Normally we go to Jersey Mike's but it's a good 15 min away from our house. I also had to stop by Publix and I saw that there was a Rudino's right next door... how lucky, right? Let me first say that though it was a little busy, it was by no means overfull. They were doing a certain amount of takeout, so that may have affected things. As I was ordering for the whole family, I got a large veggie sub, a normal ham and cheese and calzone with pepperoni and italian sausage. The prices were pretty high but in line with what I'd get at Mike's so I wasn't to concerned. That was before I saw what we got for that money. To say I was disappointed would be a sad understatement. By eye, I'd say the subs were only half the size of those at Mike's. There were almost no vegetables on the sub and the cheese was a pathetic amount... maybe a single slice per normal sub? The fries and the toasted subs were cold... I think they made those first and let them sit while the calzone was being made. The calzone was acceptable, but not great. There was almost no meat, the cheese was light, and the sauce tasted acidy and I suspect it came from a can. If prices had been half as much, I'd have no complaints... you should get what you pay for, right? But combine the high price, the longish wait for takeout, and the substandard fare, I definitely deserved more. On the plus side, the environment was nice for a sports bar and the staff was pleasant. An example is the Italian Rolls. It's a like a rolled up pizza cut in slices, and then grilled on the edges to create crispy delicious goodness. You can customize to your liking. I am grateful that Rudino's mild wings are in fact, mild. My friends and family assure me the hot sauce wings are hot so kudos on the accurate heat scale! I love the mild and the ginger sesame, some of my favorite in the area. Such good flavor! The grinders are huge! Be hungry or share - you've been warned. Have tried several of their times from their grinders, pizza, cheese sticks and wings. Everything that we have had has been delicious. Their pizzas are ample size with enough to take home for leftovers. Their wings are sizeable, cooked perfectly and prepared with delicious sauces. The grinders are so good and they do not skimp on the ingredients. They have ample parking in the shopping center and we never have to wait to be seated. Been here twice and so far so good. Service has been great and the wings and pizza were awesome. Wings were crispy yet not overdone and right amount of sauce, not drowning! UPDATE: To his credit, the owner followed up with me so we were willing to try again. We went on a Thursday night and were seated immediately upon arrival. All of us enjoyed our food so much that we didn't have anything to take home! Our server was pleasant and attentive and our order was filled exactly as requested. The only reason I'm taking a star off is the slow service. We wouldn't have had a problem with it except that two tables near us were seated about 5 minutes AFTER we were seated -- both of these had 5 people and we had 4 people. Both tables received their food at least 5-10 minutes before ours arrived. When we asked our waitress, she checked and told us it was because they ordered fewer items --- 2 pizzas, 1 appetizer and a kids meal (versus 1 sandwich, slice of pizza, 1 appetizer, and 1 kids meal). Not sure why the other table of 5 was served earlier, but our meal was good and served hot. Finally, we ordered dessert (pizzookie, I think?)- which I highly recommend (but again you need time as it took 17 minutes to arrive).
