Stopped for lunch today. This was our first visit. The inside was very clean including the restrooms. Service was prompt. I ordered a Buffalo chicken sandwich and my wife had a Turkey Panini. The Turkey Panini, steak fries and the sweet potato fries were very good. Unfortunately the Buffalo Chicken sandwich was undercooked and raw in the middle, after cutting it in half. They were apologetic and kind enough to remove it from our check and re-make it to go. Unfortunately the second attempt was not good. It was over way cooked to the point of being inedible. The roll was grilled and burnt as was the chicken. Having been a cook in college it appears the frying oil is not being changed as it should be. it was a very disappointing experience so we won't be back.

    Pretzel
    Mike B.

First time to this local spot. Really good food, quick service. Stopped in for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. Business slow on this holiday weekend, only half a dozen diners. Service was friendly, efficient and quick. Tried the Bavarian pretzel as a appetizer. The pretzel is ENORMOUS! Freah and hot from the oven with just the right amount of salt. Served with a cup of white melted cheese for dipping. Yum! Also tried a reuben. Freshly sliced and perfectly prepared corned beef topped with sauerkraut, Swiss cheese and slathered with thousand island dressing served on grilled rye. This is not your sliced deli meat corned beef.... This is long simmered, lean and luscious corned beef. REALLY good.

    Prime Rib

Food, service and atmosphere were perfect for our Saturday night out. I heard the prime rib special was amazing and it WAS. You won't be disappointed

Update: They now have a salad bar which for me is a bit pricey (18.99) but it does offer a variety of items. Tuesday and Sat is 1/2 price wine! The servers were exceptional this last visit. Tues is music bingo which was a ton of fun and I won a $10 gift card!

    Reuben Sandwich with onion rings
    Laura G.

This was our first visit in their new location. The dining room is spacious and bright and comfortable. I got the same thing as I always get, the Reuben sandwich with onion rings. Score. Delicious. The location may have changed but this is hands down the best Reuben around. I like everything about it. The bread is delicious and stands up to the thousand island dressing, the meat to sauerkraut thousand island dressing is perfect. And the corned beef is not fatty, just delicious. I would certainly recommend you pay Pat Murane's a visit as you'll be smiling all the way home. The staff were also excellent, just the right amount of attentive.

Went to lunch once and the service was dreadfully slow even though the place was empty. The food was good though.

Ask the Community - Pat Murnane's Irish Pub

Wondering about gluten free options. It looks like the soups, salad dressings, pasta salads, shepherds pie, and all fried foods and sandwiches are gluten with no GF options. Anyone know?

They blocked off part of the parking lot, had live music going, and the whole place had that fun, lively energy you want on a holiday like this. Because of the crowd, the menu was trimmed down to the more popular items, but it still had plenty of good options. I ended up getting their Irish eggrolls, they're hand‑rolled and stuffed with house‑cured corned beef, sauerkraut, and Swiss cheese, then sliced and served with their Thousand Island dressing. Basically, it's all the flavors of a Reuben wrapped up in a crispy shell, simple, rich, and exactly the kind of thing that works well at an event like this because its quick and its finger food you can eat while watching the band,. Overall, the atmosphere was great, parking is such a hassle though during these events on the weekend because H-Mart nearby is already so packed. You can park on the other side of the building if you don't mind a brief walk though.

I was greeted, then seated. I was provided a menu and specials...Prime Rib! After my hectic day, yes I will have that! I mentioned gluten free to my server before making decision. Plus seeing the loaded potato had me a bit worried as I cannot ear pork. I opted for salad once server checked to see if Caesar salad dressing is gf sans croutons. I requested salad with dressing on the side and to bring promptly before my dinner. Salad arrived by and server dressed and it was glistening.... I requested one with dressing on the side...server brought maybe I had two bites and dinner arrived! Salad can wait...prime rib cannot, even though I start with tasting potato. Prime rib was requested mid rare and it delivered. Potato was fine. I did not see the au jus nor horseradish sauce on the side. I did ask server while I was ready to pack it up and he said there was some confusion if there was/was not no gluten so not provided. Noteworthy as the salad a manager stopped by about the dressing and mentioned one type of salad dressing is now gf and one vegan. Good to have options. Disappointed to learn the fries are coated with flour then fried as an option with burger skip the bun...what about baked chips or air fry for those with food sensitivities as an alternative? Just a thought for management to consider please. I saved room for dessert and the mousse did not disappoint and was compted .... thank you! Fantastic! As I looked around there was a steady crowd entering along with regular patrons. Overall 4.5 stars for this visit. On a side note, this is a family friendly restauran/pub. Some servers look disheveled between sloppy hair and untidy uniform. For staff with long hair should be pulled back tight and away from food will prevent hair on the food! Uniform is simple black top and pants....should be clean and neat. A few servers looked like they rolled out of bed...if they are feeling ill, please stay home. Servers should make diners and patrons have a positive and pleasant experience and my server was definitely on point with emphasis on customer service and satisfaction....keep it up! Lastly, females please wear a bra or sports bra or a proper garment under uniform as it is family friendly restaurant, thank you!

On this visit, we went on a Saturday afternoon. It was moderately busy but not too crazy. We sat upstairs on the patio. The weather was perfect for it. Our server was nice but I believe at some point she forgot to put our food order in. To the point that we were just going to cancel it and head out because we had been waiting so long. Again, not sure if it was the server or the kitchen that was the cause of the delay. The food was fine. The drinks are standard that you would expect from a bar. Overall, a nice place to go and have a pint but that's about it for me.

We were seated at a booth quickly, but it took 10 minutes for the waitress to get to us. She seemed to have the majority of patrons so I'll give her that. We ordered the fish and chips with fries and my partner order the stuffed flounder with mashed potatoes and macaroni and cheese. The Mac and cheese has an up charge of $3 if you want it as a side. The meals came within 15 and were huge. The portions seemed to have increased as well as the prices. They were for the most part excellent with the exception of the sauce under the stuffed flounder. I think mistakingly the chef put too much black pepper in it as it would burn your throat. It was so much food that we took home half. The only downside to our lunch was that the waitress never came back by, asked if everything was good, but she did come by with the check when she noticed we were finished. If service was better, my review would be a 5. We will be returning as lots of menu choices.

When we walked up to the deck, the sign read ask hostess to seat you on the deck. No one was there and we didn't want to go inside with the dogs, so we asked a waitress who was walking back inside, could she get the hostess? The waitress did not respond, and just walked inside. When she came back out (not acknowledging us), my friend said "so was that a yes, or a no?" She responded, she'll be right out. The hostess asked us High Top or regular table, and then seated us. The waiter came, got our drinks, but we hadn't looked at the menu yet. He finally came back, once we closed the menus, and he took our orders. We noticed that he brought a bowl of water out for another dog, but didn't ask us if our dogs wanted water. Once our food came out, he didn't ask if we needed anything else (my friend needed Catsup for her fries) and I had asked for mayo which he had said they would put on the side, but they didn't. We just felt like we were invisible. The staff seemed unfriendly. There was no "how was your meal, would you like dessert?" We were exploring Raleigh with the thought of moving there. This experience made us cross Pipers off of our list for the future.
