They lured me in at Beach Streets with a delicious free musabi. Ordered the combo plate with shrimp and katsu chicken. It is a perfect dish! Ordered it spicy, which had incredible flavor, not too hot but just right. Chicken was juicy and tender with crisp outside. Shrimp were big and crunchy and the spicy flavor on them was incredible. The combo plate was so big I split it; great value. Even the rice and Mac salad was good. Nice outdoor seating area. Highly recommend this incredible food. read more

This spot was amazing I have 450 different food places to eat, but since I was in Long Beach this one popped up the service was amazing too. She gave me a sample of regular and spicy. read more

Best fast food Hawaiian food ever! I've come back here several times already. The chicken is so moist and flavorful. The macaroni is so good too (but please be aware that it has tuna in it!). The coconut shrimp musubi is amazing! And all of their lemonades are good & the right amount of sweetness. Definitely recommend! read more

Food was great and tasty! Server was friendly. Chill lil place. This is gonna be the spot for sure lol.

Great food, great place, love to eat at shootz, one of my top 10 in Long Beach the food is always done like I asked and you can tell it's always freshly made. The restaurant is always clean. Also that is something I look at the floors in the restaurant. Also the soda machine big thing for me. read more

Great food! 4.5/5 To keep this review short and simple. Food is AMAZING, service is awesome (very friendly staff), price is reasonable too! I would eat here over going to Ono Hawaiian BBQ. The reason I gave it a 4.5/5 is bc of the location. If you plan to pick up food and go back home or wherever then PERFECT! But, if you plan to sit down and eat I wouldn't recommend because it's dirty and there were a few flies. It is outdoor "public" dining so there's not much to expect, I was luckily prepared with disinfectant wipes, with that being said I would recommend doing what I did, bring wipes to wipe down the tables bc it was in fact dirty. Also I could be wrong but, I didn't see any bathrooms, so be prepared for that. Once again, I lucked out bc I didn't need to go. read more

It's these little hole in the wall spots that are always hitting the best! The food was absolutely delicious! I got the mix combo plate and spam musubi and they were both delicious! The plate may seem small but they are definitely filling! The strawberry lemonade and mango lemonade are also winners! You can't go wrong with either one! The service was fast and friendly! If you're ever in the area and are craving Hawaiian food, this is for sure the spot! read more

The classic Shootz experience that you may or may not be familiar with at Rodeo 39 is now here in Long Beach. The sandwich is amazing, chicken is well cooked and fried. Only thing is the bun itself does crumble as you eat since the sauce spills into it. The musubi's are delicious. The spam one, however takes the crown due to the flavor complexity of it. You get the sweetness with the first bite and the spam gives you that saltyness you desire read more

This place is tasty. I will say that you might feel a little guilty and want to hit the gym afterwards. The chicken sandwich was very good. The chicken was juicy and had a sweet and savory taste going on. The sweet Hawaiian bun was perfect. I also tried the jalapeño shrimp plate. It was good but the chicken sand-o would be what I would return for. read more

Came here to celebrate a birthday and thought the commons area in this location was pretty cool. I ordered the kimchi butter katsu chicken sandwich that has Mac salad inside and it was sooooooo good and definitely recommend. We also ordered the coconut honey shrimp musubi and spam brulee musubi which I would also order again. The flavor on the shrimp musubi was so creamy and yummy! It seems pretty popular so there was a little bit of a wait but overall love it and would come back. read more

I really enjoy coming to Shootz for authentic Hawaiian food with a flare. Their katsu and musubi are to die for. They don't have indoor seating but all the outside seating in the communal area is covered with plenty of air flow. They have a great selection of homemade teas and lemonades as well. Their team is helpful and knowledgeable if you're not sure what to order. Everything is fresh, hot and made to order when you come. I try to get over here once a week for my lunch break! Keep up the great work! read more

I came here with my friends after my last college final. I'm not even joking. The BEST food i have ever had. We went to give our compliments about their service and the deliciousness of what we consumed. The musubi and the kimchi butter katsu are actual chef's kisses. It was genuinely the first time my eyes lit up in a while def coming back read more

First, I must say the food is great here. Very tasty and unique. But ordering their food can be a challenge. Sometimes it takes 10 minutes just to get someone's attention, as there will be no one working at the counter. And other times, like today, their ordering system fails and even though I was standing right in front of the counter person, trying to order, she was unable to take my order due to some malfunction. I tried to order through their app on my phone, but it wouldn't allow me to log in, and wouldn't take my order without logging in. So I walked away hungry and frustrated. It shouldn't be this hard to order lunch. read more

Shootz - Kimchi Butter Katsu Chicken with shrimp, rice & Mac salad - Hawaiian Near Me - Long Beach, California

Been hearing about this place a lot so thought I'd try it out. Ordered their signature kimchi butter katsu chicken sandwich and their short rib plate. Sandwich was fire! I inhaled that ish and forgot to take a pic lol. The short ribs were cooked just right. Sauce had a little heat and just the right sweetness to it. Ordering was easy. Person who took my order was personable and very helpful. Sorry, I didn't get his name. Location is easy to get to. Seating area was clean. Read some reviews docking stars for the smell and presence of homeless people. Shootz has no control over that and can't fault them for it either but, maybe that's just me. Its a shared space with other food establishments. When I went there was no odor. I'll be back for more! Mahalo Shootz fo da kine grinds Shootz is ono in my book read more

Not sure, what happened, but I had the shrimp plate and have been feeling nauseous and having bad stomach aches because of it. This rarely has happened, but not going to lie, overall quality from this place has dropped drastically. Be safe and careful of what you eat from these food hall type spots. Spend your money on authentic quality food instead. read more

Just went to the Grand Opening and everything I tried was delicious! I had their Kimchi Butter Katsu Sando (which came free as part of the Grand Opening) and it was on point with its crispy chicken, fresh mac salad, tasty sauce, and buttery bread. I also tried both their Spam Brûlée Musubi and Honey Coconut Shrimp Musubi. I high recommend both. All the ingredients came together for a fresh take on a classic favorite. To drink, I tried their Mango Tea Lemonade which complemented the rest of the meal. The flavor was just sweet enough and didn't go overboard on the sugar/sweetener like many other lemonades do. Parking was a tad difficult but it may have been because of the demand on opening day. It's a fairly big sized lot so maybe another day would be a better measure of parking availability. Service was great. Everyone looked happy, excited to be there. Overall, great new spot and a must try for people looking for a nice twist on Hawaiian food. read more

Shootz - SO GOOD , everything fried to perfection the Kimchi Butter Katsu Chicken and shrimp plus extra sauce to dip !! Worth it - Hawaiian Near Me - Long Beach, California

Fantastic. Had musabi, katsu, Mac salad. Shrimp, chicken sandwich....all really good. The katsu was on point. 6 in our party. The young adults enjoyed the music and the covered outdoor eating area was great. One meal can easily feed two people. Three of us shared two and had left overs and we're not little people. Will definitely return. Service was good. read more

Let's start off simple, I've been here dozens of times and they do NOT disappoint. The service here is amazing, the staff here treat every customer with respect and are very friendly towards everyone, let alone the food comes out in minutes whether its packed or somewhat empty which is usually NEVER the case for this joint. Let alone the vibes and the atmosphere they got going on over there at uptown commons. Inside the small waiting area, they usually have it decorated for the seasons or holidays such as Winter, Halloween, etc. Sometimes when I wait in the lobby for the food, the music is always a vibe as well. Sometimes I even pull out my phone and shazam it. For the amount I'm spending, I am more than happy with the portions they serve here at Shootz. My go to is the wavy bundle #1 that comes with katsu, mac salad, rice, spam misubi, and a drink? all that for roughly $24 dollars. See, if you have the bread and the stomach capacity to eat here, go for it. read more

THE FOOD IS BEYOND AMAZING - THIS IS THE BEST DELICIOUS HAWAIIAN FOOD IVE HAD ! The kimchi butter sauce is to die for. Both the chicken katsu and shrimp hit the spot and the Mac salad is seasoned so perfectly. The spam musubi brûlées has such a savory spin on a traditional spam musubi. 10/10 recommend!!! read more

This place never misses. Always good. Definitely recommend coming here. I love the drinks too

Great food!! I got a mixed plate with shrimp and chicken! amazing service! The place was so clean!! 10/10 would go again!

Overpriced for the portions the chicken was greasy and Mac was horrible the Mac tastes more like mayonnaise. Don't waste your money here I think there's better Hawaiian food places. read more

Haven't been to this location so I decided to try it out with some friends. I knew I wanted to try their sandwich for sure because it just looked so good. I also wanted to try a different plate and drink because last time my drink was way too sweet. I ordered the Jalapeño Garlic shrimp and David let me try a sample of their sauce that they put it in. I am so happy I tried it because it was yummy and it wasn't spicy either. I also ordered a different drink which was the Mango green tea lemonade. Much less overpowering than their Mint Peach Lemonade. The sandwich was so good and also the shrimp!!! I would definitely get both again. I just wish there was less rice and more shrimp. And the macaroni was so light and delicious, I devoured all of it. I want to try their Loco Moco next time so I can try something different again. It's a nice outdoor spot, very different. read more

Shrimp is amazing! Katsu chicken is super crispy and good but needs more flavor. A side of sauce probably would have helped but no sauce comes with any of the meals it's all extra on the side which I didn't realize when I ordered to go :( Spam musibis are good (they look better than they are but still good) Chicken sandwich was good (a little disappointed because I ordered spicy and got plain instead) Pineapple strawberry lemonade was amazing! Overall I rate it a 7.5/10 read more

Tried this place out for the first time. I'll state what I thought was good and what wasn't. The spam musubi was really good, the chicken katsu was good but the beef kalbi was tough and was hard to chew. That's probably due to the quality of meat purchased. The mango green tea was really good as well. If you guys can improve on the kalbi I'd probably come back just foe that. read more
