My partner visited a couple of weeks ago and couldn't stop raving about the food, so he brought me in to try it for myself this Sunday. From the moment we walked in, we felt so genuinely welcomed. The entire staff was kind, attentive, and made us feel right at home. I can't quite explain it, but there was just such a warm, welcoming feeling the whole time we were there. The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable, like you're enjoying a home cooked meal with family. Parking was a breeze, and the food was absolutely delicious. I had the steak breakfast, and my partner decided to try the chicken pozole this time. On his first visit, he had the pork pozole and loved it, so he knew we had to come back. I have to say, that steak was cooked to perfection! You can truly feel the love and care that goes into this restaurant. We can't wait to come back with our family and friends. Villalobos Kitchen has definitely become one of our new favorite spots and will be a regular stop for us. Highly recommend!

We had the Pozole Verde and the Chile Relleno Plate which included a shrimp taco. Both were excellent. Always eat local and support small businesses in my community. The shrimp taco, and the flavors were mild, not overpowering. Also, I tried the ribs on takeout. They were falling off the bone. But I wish they could have used more seasoning. The owners are very kind service is always good.

So we've been coming back to this place trying out different items from their menu each time, and so far everything has been delicious. Portions are great, everything is fresh, delicious and you can tell made with lots of love. The family behind the counter are so pleasant and kind. Please try this place out, you will not be disappointed.

** Phenomenal experience!** Villalobos Kitchen is a beautiful, family-owned gem. The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming from the moment we walked in, and we loved how dog-friendly they are! To top it all off, the food was absolutely delicious. We will definitely be back soon and highly recommend checking them out!

This is the first time I've ever finished my entire bowl of pozole. I've tried many different places, and they've always been a disappointment--until now. If I'm ever craving pozole, this will definitely be my go-to spot. The staff is incredibly kind, welcoming, and friendly, which made the experience even better. The restaurant is very clean, and it has such a warm, comfortable atmosphere that you feel like you're eating at home. I'll definitely be coming back!

I decided to try this place to see if the stars and reviews were true. I ordered the New York steak and my partner ordered the BBQ Ribs and we were hooked! I have been a loyal customer for over a year and everyone whom I have referred has been pleased with the exceptional service and delicious plates. This family-owned business puts their heart into their dishes and they truly appreciate all their customers. Thank you, Villalobos Kitchen for treating us like family from day one and for all the delicious meals!

Chicken Enchiladas with beans, rice, and kale salad.

My wife and I were going to be in the area, so I searched Yelp for a good place to eat. After seeing the excellent ratings, we decided to give it a try, and it absolutely lived up to the reviews. It may look like a small restaurant from the outside, but don't let that fool you. From the moment we were seated, the service was warm and welcoming. We were promptly served complimentary chips and salsa along with our drinks. I ordered the ribeye steak with mixed vegetables and a kale salad, while my wife chose the chicken enchiladas with beans, rice, and a kale salad. The food arrived quickly, and everything was excellent. The ribeye was flavorful, cooked perfectly, and incredibly tender. The mixed vegetables--a combination of zucchini, broccoli, and asparagus topped with Parmesan--were delicious, and the kale salad was fresh and surprisingly tasty. My wife thoroughly enjoyed her enchiladas as well. Overall, we both had a fantastic meal and a great experience without breaking the bank. They also have daily specials posted on the board when you walk in, so be sure to keep an eye out for those. The staff we encountered throughout our visit were genuinely friendly and attentive. We're already trying to figure out when we can come back. If you're in the area and looking for a great meal at a reasonable price, give this place a shot--you won't be disappointed.

Went to this place because I saw a tik tok video Turns out right down the street from where I work And let me tell you i got the chilaquiles and they were delicious 11/10 the woman and the counter was super nice and welcoming definitely coming. Hidden Gem -- Drive Slow or You May Miss It! Let me start by saying that the moment you walk through the doors, the aroma of a home-cooked meal hits you--instantly reminding you of your abuelita's kitchen. The nostalgia is real. The menu offers so many great choices that it's hard to decide what to order. The chips arrived fresh and warm, and the salsa was hands down one of the best table salsas I've ever had--just like homemade. I ordered the Green Pozole, while my better half chose the Aguachiles. The Green Pozole was packed with flavor and had the perfect balance of chicken and hominy. It came with all the traditional fixings and, to my surprise, included three incredibly delicious potato tacos on the side. The Aguachiles were exceptionally fresh, with the perfect ratio of cucumber, onion, and shrimp. Each shrimp was cleaned, deveined, and butterflied, showing the care and attention to detail that goes into every dish. The chile sauce was outstanding and brought everything together beautifully. We couldn't leave without dessert, so we ordered it to go. The flan was something special--creamy, delicate, topped with homemade caramel sauce, and accented with fresh mango. It was the perfect ending to an amazing meal. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared and absolutely delicious. You can tell the owners and staff genuinely care about quality and the dining experience. We'll definitely be back!

What a great experience today. Found this place through Yelp , looking for an authentic mexican restaurant. It is a smaller restaurant (family owned) and though the parking is a bit tough to find, it is down the side narrow alley next to the establishment with plenty of parking in the back for me and my family of 9. This place exceeded our expectations and is definitely a don't judge a book by its cover place. It was amazing! Clearly 5 stars here is because of the food. But the nice lady, service, and great dining experience was the best. It is a place you want to spend your money. The people were so kind and genuine. It was my brother Jacobs birthday and they helped with the cake and the server brought whole kitchen out to sing with us f The server was very nice and I am really happy my family and I stopped by. Nothing but best wishes for this establishment!

I have eaten here twice. Once inside with my father, we had mango aguachile and fish ceviche. The owners were very kind to us, my dad made small talk about their business and how long they have been here. Inside was very clean, I love their decor they have inside. Last Saturday, I ordered through DoorDash, food was amazing just like the first time. My boyfriend picked up the food and said the woman in the front was very kind and had the food ready with in 15mins. I will be coming back.

Decided to pick a random spot I haven't tried. Great service. Wide variety of options. I ordered the augachile. I'll love some really spicy augachile but it was mild, But very good. Nice small, quiet restaurant. Only thing they can possibly improve on, is the Jamaica. I love some good Jamaica, but this one didn't hit. It's ok though. I would definitely return!!!!

For a party of four, we ordered: SHRIMP LOVER COMBO, LOBSTER ROLL, SIDE OF RICE, BASKET OF SEASONED FRIES, AND MAD DOG XXX SAUCE on the side. Portion-wise, we left comfortably full and only slightly questioning our life choices. The Shrimp Lover Combo can't be modified. We chose Stinkin' Special and Spicy, which came with a plastic glove so you can dig in like a civilized gremlin. The Stinkin' Special was a generous blasts of Old Bay and enough garlic to ward off vampires. The Mad Dog sauce wasn't shock-your-soul spicy, but it definitely lingered. I was still feeling its friendly burn hours later and well into the evening. The LOBSTER ROLLL was tasty but fleeting. It's one of those dishes that makes you realize the meal is almost over right when you're hitting peak satisfaction. A little emotional damage there. We wrapped it all up with deep-fried Oreos and ice cream, which was an instant win. Sweet, cooling relief after all that heat. Parking is a bit of a game of chance thanks to the tiny lot, so plan accordingly. Once you're inside though, the restaurant is super clean, modern, and the service is fast and attentive. We started with the papaya salad. It was just okay--I'm still trying to figure out why there was a blanket of romaine lettuce casually lounging on top. I ordered medium spice, which turned out to be "medium if you breathe fire for fun." The papaya was also a little more raw than I personally like. The tom kha soup was decent, but the real MVP was the drunken noodles with beef. Those noodles were absolutely swimming in savory goodness and perfectly soft. I would've happily ordered a second plate and called it "dessert." Overall, I'd definitely come back--mostly because those drunken noodles are already living rent-free in my head.

I came across this place on TikTok because of their famous Thai tea popsicle, so naturally I had high hopes. First off, we got incredibly lucky with parking. I can definitely see how parking could be a nightmare since the lot is tiny, so consider finding a spot part of the dining experience. When we arrived, the inside was cute and seemed clean. We were seated outside, which also looked nice at first glance, but I noticed quite a few spider webs around the windows. My boyfriend even felt webs brushing against his arm while we were sitting there, which wasn't exactly the extra ambiance we were expecting. We ordered quite a bit: spicy Pad Thai, Bang Bang Shrimp, Pad See Ew, mango sticky rice, and of course the Thai tea with the popsicle. I'll give credit where it's due. The Bang Bang Shrimp was easily the best thing we ordered and was absolutely delicious. The Thai tea popsicle also lived up to the TikTok hype, although the actual Thai tea itself was on the sweeter side. If you love sugar, you'll probably enjoy it. My biggest complaint with the food was the spicy Pad Thai. The flavor was great, but it came with what felt like a whole chicken farm and a cameo appearance from the noodles. I ordered Pad Thai, not chicken with noodle garnish. The Pad See Ew was also noticeably salty. Now you're probably wondering why I'm giving this place a low rating if most of the food was decent. Unfortunately, the service completely overshadowed the meal. When it was time to pay, my aunt was figuring out how much everyone needed to Zelle her since the restaurant only allows a maximum of two cards for split payments. While we were trying to do the math, our waiter stood over us watching the payment screen like he was supervising a final exam. He was clearly waiting to make sure a tip was entered. My aunt politely asked him to give us a minute, and thankfully he walked away. Maybe when you see a family actively calculating a bill, that's your cue to...actually give them a minute. Keep in mind we also tipped 20% despite all this. Throughout the meal, he did stop by our table, but it rarely felt like he was checking in to make sure everything was okay. If anything I felt rushed. He also gave off that "customer service smile" that disappears the moment you stop looking. The cherry on top for me happened as we were leaving. We had been sitting on the outdoor patio talking for a bit after paying, which is pretty normal for my family. Before leaving, I went inside to ask where the restroom was. The guy and girl behind the bar looked at each other, laughed, and then asked if I was a paying customer. Keep in mind, I was literally holding a to-go bag with leftovers from the restaurant. I responded, "Yeah, I just finished eating," while holding up the bag that made it painfully obvious. Only then did they tell me where the restroom was. Nothing says "valued customer" quite like being interrogated about whether you actually ate there while carrying your leftovers. It's unfortunate because the food had some highlights, and the restaurant itself has a cute atmosphere. But the service made it feel like customers are viewed more as transactions than guests. Between hovering over us during payment and questioning whether I even belonged there after spending money, I left feeling more unwelcomed than satisfied. I'll happily support a restaurant that appreciates my business instead of making me feel like I have to prove I earned the right to use the restroom after paying for dinner.

Would not recommend this place unless you order ceviche plates and make sure you get salsas. Some of the pictures they have posted look different from what you get. Sorry not coming back. Blaming tiktok for this location visit.
