The young man who was working there on a Saturday afternoon was nice, he came all the way to the front where the color samples were to greet me and ask if I needed help. Although he couldn't help me color match or anything he was nice enough to acknowledge my presence lol ended up getting a sample of their paint for $12. I wish they had smaller sample pots tbh, this ones huge and you can't even use it for anything permanent since it's not built to last. read more

Sherwin-Williams purchased the paint company Frazee, originally used by our builder. When our homes were built one of the advertised features was a *Designer* color scheme. Our HOA worked with SW, and documented our entire (complicated) paint scheme, which is available on their website. As re-painting becomes necessary, it is great we can replicate the design. I went in to pick up the set of paint chips for my home. The staff was very helpfully and friendly, and assisted me in my mission. read more

My kid wanted her room painted green so we went down the street to Lowe's and found a Sherwin Williams color she really wanted. I got it from Lowe's with Sherwin Williams' HGTV paint (because it was cheaper than here), but they couldn't even come close to matching the color correctly. Ended up having to get my money back from Lowe's and coming here instead. Yeah, I had to pay another $20/gallon, but at least I got the paint color that we wanted. And when I have to go back for a second gallon, it's not going to be a guessing game as to whether the rest of it will match the first gallon. Service was about what you'd expect from a store and I was in and out in about 5 minutes. Not the cheapest paint out there, but you really do get what you pay for. read more

Poor customer service... the older person there with gray bald hair was so hesitant to help and I also noticed this on how he was dealing with another Indian customer. He would just say look at the display. You go to this store as a retail of the paint stores but there's nothing that he could suggest.....makes me think if he knows only mixing paint and that's all. Will not recommend this place. read more

I pretty much never leave reviews, but I feel I had to here. I ordered 3 gallons of paint and 1 quart online. I placed the order at 7:30am thinking that should be plenty of time before my contractor arrived at 3:30pm. Around noon or 1pm I became worried that I hadn't heard anything, so I called the store. I waited on hold for 15 solid minutes. I was working from home, so I tried multi-tasking during that time. The woman that finally answered seemed very confused by the idea that I might need the order I placed online. I let her know I need it before 3:30pm. She still seemed confused and put me on hold again, but eventually said to come on over to the store. When I got there, I waited 15 more minutes in line, only for the guy working there to act like he had never heard of my order. I thought the whole point of ordering online was so I could just come pick it up, and that's why I called beforehand to make sure it would be ready. Now the kicker: He said he didn't have the 1 of the 4 paints that I actually really needed that day. Out of stock!? Why the **** does Sherwin Williams take my credit card and online order if they don't really have the paint!? The employee didn't seem to have any sense how this could be a problem or a major inconvenience. I just got to wait 10 more minutes while he mixed the paints that should have been ready in the first place. I ran out of time to find another place that might have it. I wish I can put less. Terrible customer service. They want to sell you what they did regardless what you want. We purchased a gallon of paint from them and we told they it is not the correct colour and they said it will be correct when you paint it and get dry. which was completely wrong. when we asked to return it , they refused and talked to us very rude. very bad experience for the first time. read more

In a pinch I needed to pick a color for my front door. The customer service was prompt and polite. While waiting for the samples, I had to witness a really rude customer yelling and cursing at the staff. I felt compelled to leave a 5 star review for the staff that handled the situation very professionally. The customer yelled at the staff repeatedly and though I understood his frustration his aggressive attitude was uncalled for. After, the rude customer left, the staff repeatedly apologized to me for witnessing his outburst. I Home Depot can be overwhelming and there is no one to help you. In a very last minute effort to get paint, I rushed to this location and called on the way over to hope they'd stay open a few minutes longer for me. Cassidy answered the phone and not only did he patiently offer advice, he made sure he didn't sound rushed to get out of the store. He took an initial 7 minutes past their closing time to recognize my needs and really show customer service. I was able to get the paint I needed from someone who had an amazing attitude. I decided to come into this Sherwin-Williams paint store on a bit of a lark because I had difficulty finding someone to quickly help me in the paint department of the nearby Home Depot. I was repainting some wooden siding on my house and all I had for a color match was an old, empty can of Kelly-Moore paint left behind by the previous house owner. The Sherwin-Williams staff here were very helpful and professional, and let me know that they could try for a good color match but for the absolute best color match I should probably get a Kelly-Moore paint having the color code number that they read off the paint can. I appreciated the honesty and professionalism of their advice, but explained that having an exact color match was not a super-critical requirement for me, and that what I wanted was a high-quality and high-durability exterior paint with as good of a color match as they could do. As things turned out, the color match that the staff did for me was perfect. I can't tell any difference in the color of the old and new paint on my wooden siding. And I really appreciated the professionalism, helpfulness, AND honesty that the staff at Sherwin-Williams displayed. Will definitely be going back to them for my next paint job. read more

Your experience in this store really depends on who happens to be working there at the time. We have been Sherwin WIlliams users for years but only in Livermore for the last year or so. While some of the staff at this location is pretty knowledgeable we have noticed on multiple visits that the manager is basically clueless, and unwilling to go out of his way to be helpful at all. After our last visit a few days ago, when he could not answer any of our questions, and couldn't be bothered looking some information for us up on his computer, we decided to drive on over to the local competitor instead. Not surprisingly, the service there was great and we got what we were looking for. You, Sherwin Williams Livermore, thanks to your manager, have just lost a once loyal customer. read more
